Will Not Remember Thy Sins

Dear Friends,

Greetings! We hope you had a happy and joyous Christmas season. We also want to wish you a Happy New Year. The coming year, 2018, should prove to be interesting, if indeed “interesting” is the right word.

Over the past several years we have done many original essays on various subjects, all of which are Bible related. The nearly three hundred and fifty pages, of which these essays amount, is still just as relevant today.

Throughout the next several weeks we hope to repost many of these papers for those who may not have seen them, or don't have the time to research the web site, or would just like to see them again. We welcome any comment you may have concerning this material.

On another note we have discovered (quite by accident) that the documentary, “The Coming Temple”, on which we were intimately involved, has been featured on several other web sites.

Here is a link in case you have not seen it or would like to see it again.

We do not know with certainty the actual number of views but the closest we are able to ascertain it is somewhere between one million eight hundred thousand and two million.

We feel this is truly a miracle of God!

On a final note for this year we thought you may find the following article from “gotquestions.org an inspiration.

God bless us all and keep us in the year ahead.

Hungarian Christmas Message: ‘We’ll Protect Christian Culture, Not Retreat Behind Concrete Blocks and Watch Our Women Harassed on New Year’s’

by JACK MONTGOMERY25 Dec 2017

Viktor Orbán has used his annual Christmas message to call on Europeans to protect their Christian culture, and vowed Hungary will not “retreat behind concrete blocks” at Christmas and watched its women and daughters “harassed in the New Year’s Eve crowd” like its multicultural neighbours.

“Christianity is culture and civilization. We live in it. It is not about how many people go to church or how many pray honestly. Culture is the reality of everyday life… Christian culture defines our everyday morals,” wrote the Fidesz leader, in an article published in Magyar Idők.

Orbán also took aim at the enemies of his ‘country first’ policies, who say he cannot claim to be Christian if he will not support allowing “millions from other continents to settle into Europe” in accordance with the commandment to “love thy neighbour as thyself”.

“They forget the second part of the commandment,” observed Orbán: “To love ourselves.”

The conservative heavyweight explained: “Loving ourselves also means taking and protecting all that we are and who we are. To love ourselves means that we love our country, our nation, our family, Hungarian culture and European civilization.”

“Fundamentals of European life are now under attack,” the Hungarian leader continued, alluding to the difficulties faced by countries such as Britain, France, and Germany, which have all pursued policies of mass migration and state-sponsored multiculturalism.

“Regardless of whether we are going to church or not, and if so, to which we are going, we do not want to celebrate the sacrament just behind the curtains so as not to violate the sensitivity of others,” he declared.

“We don’t want our Christmas markets to be renamed, and we definitely don’t want to retreat behind concrete blocks. We don’t want our Christmas masses to be surrounded by fear and distress. We don’t want our women, our daughters to be harassed in the New Year’s Eve crowd.”

Prime Minister Orbán added a warning against the forces which seek to deliberately weaken Christianity in Europe, which he described as a kind of cultural “immune system” — unnoticed while it is strong, but leaving the entire body politic vulnerable when it is weak.

“They want us to stop being who we are. They want us to become those who we don’t want to be. They want us to mix with people from another world, and to change in order to make diversity trouble-free,” he said.

“The free nations of Europe, the national governments elected by the free citizens, have a new task: to protect our Christian culture.

“Not for others, but for ourselves; for our families, for our nation, for our countries, and for the ‘homeland of our homeland’ — for the defence of Europe.”

REVEALED: ‘Secrets’ of ancient Biblical Corinth uncovered in new underwater excavations

ARCHAEOLOGISTS have uncovered "mind blowing" Roman architecture from the earthquake struck Biblical city of Corinth in a shocking new discovery by the Lechaion Harbour Project (LHP).

By JOSEPH CAREY

For Christians, the ancient Greek city of Corinth holds Biblical significance as two letters from Jesus' disciple Paul feature in the Bible's New Testament – the books of 1 Corinthians and 2 Corinthians.

According to the Christian Bible , Paul is also said to have visited the ancient city while it was under Roman rule.

In this latest discovery the LHP uncovered traces of Roman engineering and ancient buildings at the now underwater ancient Corinth port of Lechaion.

The port, located on the gulf of Corinth, was previously one of two that connected the city to trade networks in the region that allowed the area to flourish.

Kenchreai, the other harbour, is located across the narrow Isthmus of Corinth on the Aegean Sea.

Bjørn Lovén, the director of the project, stated: “For almost two decades I have been hunting for the perfect archaeological context where all the organic material normally not found on land is preserved.

“The potential for more unique discoveries is mind blowing.”

Corinth was destroyed by the Romans in 146 BC during a conquest of Greece but the area was then rebuilt along with its harbours in 44 BC.

Under the leadership of Julius Caesar, the region become home to one of the most important ports in the eastern Mediterranean due to its fundamental location.

A Greek proverb previously stated that “not everyone can afford to go to Corinth”, demonstrating the luxury of the region that prospered affluently.

The archaeologists also believe they have uncovered the remains of an ancient lighthouse which was depicted on coins from that time.

Rubble for another monument was also discovered - however, archaeologists have so far been unable to confirm its exact purpose, some have suggested that it was religious in nature.
Guy Sanders, who previously lead projects at Corinth, said: “The island monument was destroyed by an earthquake between 50 and 125 AD.

“It may well be the first evidence of the earthquake of circa AD 70 under the emperor Vespasian mentioned in ancient literary sources.”

Corinth was destroyed by the Romans in 146 BC during a conquest of Greece

The port of Lechaion was hit by a deadly earthquake in the 6th or early 7th century AD - however wooden foundations in the area are well preserved in addition to artefacts that include fishing lines and hooks, ceramics and wooden pulleys.

The project discovered that blocks weighing in at five-tons were used to separate basins within the port and were held up by wooden structures – excavations in the area started in 2015 by the LHP.

Layers of sediment allowed ancient materials such as wood and bones to be preserved to an incredible standard - with only minor signs of decay despite their vast age.

The earthquake that struck the region is a reason for the sediment that has become fundamental in painting a more detailed picture of the region.

Samples from the sediment revealed a new basin in the harbour that was previously undiscovered - the plethora of new research is set to cast incredible details on the area that saw vast changes during its use.

The LHP is a collaboration of the Ephorate of Underwater Antiquities in Greece, the Danish Institute of Athens and the University of Copenhagen.

Fossilized Antarctic Forest Stumps Scientists But Fuels Bible Flood Theories

By Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz

December 19, 017

On that day All the fountains of the great deep burst apart, And the floodgates of the sky broke open.” Genesis 7:11 (The Israel Bible™)

(Amanda Carden / Shutterstock.com)

The recent discovery of fossilized trees in Antarctica leaves researchers with unanswered questions which some Bible scholars think they can answer: a global flood that occurred precisely as described in Genesis.

A team of scientists led by Erik Gulbranson, a paleoecologist at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, discovered a forest of fossilized trees in Antarctica’s Transantarctic Mountains. They claim that the collection of evergreens, deciduous trees, and gingkoes is the “oldest polar forest on record from the southern polar region.”

The scientists claim the fossilized remains indicate a catastrophic global event in which 95 percent of the species on Earth became extinct. They believe this massive die-off was caused by greenhouse gas emissions from volcanoes, which raised the planet’s temperatures to extreme levels and caused the oceans to acidify.

“What we’re trying to research is what exactly caused those transitions to occur, and that’s what we don’t know very well,” Gulbranson said.

Dr. Tim Clarey, a geologist from the Institute for Creation Research (ICR), believes he has the answer that the researchers are searching for: the Biblical flood in the time of Noah. Dr. Clarey is an advocate of Young Earth Creationism, a theory that the universe, Earth, and all life on Earth were created by direct acts of God less than 10,000 years ago.

“This discovery should be no surprise to those who take Genesis as literal history,” Dr. Clarey wrote on the ICR website. “These discoveries demonstrate that a much warmer global climate existed in the pre-Flood world.”

They haven’t dated the forest precisely but the researchers believe it flourished about 280 million years ago before being rapidly buried in volcanic ash, which preserved it down to the cellular level.

Dr. Clarey’s Biblically-based explanation of the fossilized forest is significantly different. Prefacing his comments with the disclaimer that he “does not advocate these dates of millions of years as accurate”, Dr. Clarey described a different series of events that led to the fossilized remains.

“These trees were buried rapidly during the global Flood described in Genesis,” Dr. Clarey wrote. “Temperate and tropical plants and animals were caught up and quickly buried in the ash, mud, and sand that engulfed them in this cataclysmic event.”

Dr. Gerald Schroeder, an Orthodox Jewish physicist with a Ph.D. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), has a text-based understanding of the flood that precludes a global catastrophe scenario.

“When the rain fell before the creation of Man, the Hebrew term used is ‘pnei ha’admah’,” Dr. Schroeder said.

But a flow would well up from the ground and water the whole surface of the earth.” Genesis 2:6

“For the flood in the time of Noah, the words used are ‘pnei ha’aretz,” Dr. Schroeder noted.

And on the seventh day the waters of the Flood came upon the earth.” Genesis 7:10

“‘Ha’adamah’ never appears again by itself in the Torah,” Dr. Schroeder said. “Haadamah refers to a global phenomenon, but ‘haaretz’, as it describes the flood, refers to a regional phenomenon.”

“This scientific discovery has nothing to do with the region so it has nothing to do with the Biblical flood story,” concluded Dr. Schroeder. “The flood certainly happened, but it did not destroy the entire world.”

“Every word of the Torah is from God given to us at Sinai, but not every word should be understood literally, exactly as it is written,” Dr. Schroeder emphasized.

The Antarctic researchers also noted the similarities between the volcanic global catastrophe 280 million years ago and current theories of global warming.

“There are obvious parallels to contemporary climate change,” Gulbranson said, “Which is less extreme but similarly driven by greenhouse gases.”

Ironically, those who warn of global warming predict that it will lead global flooding, similar to the Biblical scenario. Dr. Schroeder is skeptical of this connection.

“Climate change is constantly going on,” Dr. Schroeder said. “Whether it is getting warmer or not is data that needs to be presented and considered. The debate is over what is causing the change. It could be industrialization. It could also be a wobble in the earth’s axis, which takes eons to express itself.”

NEW WESTERN WALL TRAIN STATION TO BE NAMED AFTER TRUMP

  • Long-awaited Tel Aviv-Jerusalem railway edges closer to maiden journey

  • Top Trump official: US ‘envisions’ Kotel as being part of Israel

BY UDI SHAHAM, JPOST.COM STAFF

DECEMBER 27, 2017 10:00

"The Western Wall is the holiest place for the Jewish people, and I decided to call the train station that leads to it after President Trump."

A train station that will be built not far from the Western Wall will be named after US President Donald Trump.
Transportation Minister Israel Katz said on Wednesday: “The Western Wall is the holiest place for the Jewish people, and I decided to name the train station that leads to it after President Trump – following his historic and brave decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of the State of Israel.”
Katz approved the construction plans. They will include a 3-km. tunnel from the nearly completed Uma (nation) station, which will be named after late president Yitzhak Navon and is near the Jerusalem Central Bus Station, to the Cardo in the Old City’s Jewish Quarter, not far from the Western Wall.

In between the Uma/Navon station and the Jewish Quarter stop, there will be a station in downtown Jerusalem, at the intersection of King George and Jaffa roads.
Katz said that he sees the project of extending the length of the railway from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem as the most important national project, and ordered officials in the Transportation Ministry to define it as a top priority.
In a statement, Katz said that the total cost of this project will be NIS 2.5 billion.
“Some 11 million Jews and tourists from the entire visit the Kotel annually. According to the plan, two underground stations will be built – each at a depth of 52 meters,” he said, so as not to destroy archeological remains.
Transportation Ministry spokesman Avner Ovadia told The Jerusalem Post that if there are no unforeseen delays, this project could be finished in five years.
“This project is now awaiting a discussion in the National Infrastructure Planning Committee.
When it is discussed there, it means that it receives priority in its advancement and in carrying out the project,” he said.
“It passed a preliminary approval, and now it will be further discussed – and this phase takes around a year. After that, carrying out the project will take around four to five years, if no problems will occur,” he said.

Christians leaders say Trump's move on Jerusalem al-Quds 'insulting'

Palestinian Christian leaders have decried as "dangerous" and "insulting” US President Donald Trump's decision to recognize Jerusalem al-Quds as Israel's so-called capital.

“We, Palestinians, Christians and Muslims reject the US recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel,” Atallah Hanna, the archbishop of Greek Orthodox Church of Jerusalem al-Quds, said at a news conference in the West Bank city of Bethlehem.

The US move, he said, was “an insult to Christians and Muslims around the world, who consider Jerusalem as an incubator of their most sacred, spiritual and national heritage.”

Hanna said Trump’s decision was “dangerous” to the Palestinian cause, adding the US "gave the occupation what it does not deserve.”

Trump announced earlier this month his decision to recognize Jerusalem al-Quds as Israel’s so-called capital and relocate the US embassy from Tel Aviv to the holy city.

As tensions rose in Palestine over Trump's bid, a split occurred between Palestinian Christians and the Greek Orthodox Church, which serves as a custodian for many sites, for giving up control of its properties to Israel through land sales or multi-decade leases.

The church’s followers, who are overwhelmingly Arabic-speaking Palestinians, have been angered by the practices of its leadership, Holy Synod, made up mostly of Greeks.

Local Christians expressed concerns that disposing of the land erodes their already shrinking presence in the Holy Land.

They further said the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate essentially has no right to sell or lease the properties, adding it is the land that belongs to them, given by their ancestors to the church for protection during turbulent times.

The church members have staged protests in the West Bank and Jerusalem al-Quds over the past few months and launched a campaign on social media. Some have called for the resignation of their leader, Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem al-Quds.

Issa Rishmawi, a Greek Orthodox Palestinian from Beit Sahour near Bethlehem, said Sunday, “A hundred years ago, there was no way for my grandfather to make this struggle against the church, but we’ve had enough. We want to fight back."

Church members say authorities have made secret deals with right-wing Israeli groups seeking to expand their presence in the Palestinian areas or with investors more interested in making a profit than in preserving the integrity of the sites.

Patriarch Theophilos has also said that Israel pressured him into selling or leasing the property cheaply in some cases or even seized it.

Return of skull-shaped asteroid: Massive space rock will pass Earth again next year after its 'close' Halloween flyby of 2015

  • The space rock first passed our planet on October 31, 2015, in time for Halloween

  • Experts studying the 2015 flyby published a paper detailing their observations

  • The comet's approach led to claims that it could spell doom for planet Earth

  • Its comeback will give scientists opportunity to study the strange object again

By TIM COLLINS FOR MAILONLINE

PUBLISHED: 14:02, 21 December 2017 | UPDATED: 21:28, 21 December 2017

Earth is set for another spooky encounter with a 700 metre asteroid that looks uncannily like a skull.

The space rock first passed 'close' to our planet at 78,000mph (125,500km/h) at a distance of 310,000 miles (499,000km) on October 31, 2015, just in time for Halloween.

Now, it's set to make a return in November 2018, giving scientists another opportunity to study the strange phenomenon.

Earth is set for another spooky encounter with a dead comet that looks uncannily like a skull that first passed our planet at 78,000mph (125,500km/h) at a distance of 310,000 miles (499,000km) on October 31, 2015, just in time for Halloween (artist's impression)

Experts studying the 2015 flyby of the object recently published a paper detailing their observations, which they hope to add to when it makes its comeback.

Scientists used observatories around the world, including from Hawaii using the Pan-STARRS telescope, to make their findings.

The rock, known as 2015 TB145, will flyby at a less dramatic distance than the last one.

The asteroid will zoom past the planet at about 105 Earth-moon distances, compared to just under 1.3 lunar distances last time around.

Astronomers analysing the 2015 readings found that the asteroid likely completes one rotation every 2.94 hours.

The object measures between 625 and 700 metres (2,000 to 2,300 feet), its shape is a slightly flattened ellipsoid, and its rotation axis was roughly perpendicular to the Earth at the time of its closest proximity.

The amount of heat which it retains and the speed at which it absorbs or transfers heat is consistent with that of similar sized asteroids.

The reflectivity or albedo of the surface of this asteroid is around five or six per cent.

In a written statement, researcher Pablo Santos-Sanz, from the Institute of Astrophysics of Andalusia, said: 'This means that it is very dark, only slightly more reflective than charcoal.

'It is currently 3.7 astronomical units away from Earth; that is, 3.7 times the average distance from the Earth to the sun.

'It has a magnitude of 26.5, which means it is only visible from Earth using very large telescopes or space telescopes.

The full finding were published in the journal Astronomy & Astrophysics.

Back in 2015, the comet's approach led to claims from conspiracy theorists that it could cause earthquakes and tsunamis.

One Reddit user said: 'I assume it would wipe out any city it happened to hit.

'If it were to hit, there is a 71 per cent chance it will hit water.

'A tsunami would be the biggest concern.'

Another added that it could mean 'very bad things'.

They said: 'The fireball would have an apparent radius of over eight km (five miles), and it'd cause an earthquake measuring in the high 7s on the Richter scale.'

Scientists think that the asteroid could in fact be an extinct comet which lost its volatile compounds after orbiting the Sun numerous times.

In general, asteroids and comets are distinguished by their composition, the former being more rocky and metallic, while the latter have a higher proportion of ice and rock.

Their type of orbit around the Sun also differs, but at times it is not easy to tell them apart and rhe boundaries between them are becoming increasingly diffuse.

Both were formed during the first stages of our solar system, which was born around 4.6 billion years ago.

Asteroid 2015 TB145 was discovered on October 10, 2015, by the University of Hawaii's Pan-STARRS-1 (Panoramic Survey Telescope and Rapid Response System) on Haleakala, Maui, part of the NASA-funded Near-Earth Object Observations (NEOO) Program.

Because of its erratic orbit, Nasa isn't sure where it will go, but the space agency says it's confident it will not hit Earth.

TOP INSIDER EXPOSES 'LUCIFERIAN' ORIGIN OF GLOBALIST EMPIRE

'It's beyond detestable. It's actually radical evil'

December 25, 2017

“Spirit cooking.” Occult imagery outside meetings of the most powerful people in the world. Bizarre rituals held at globally important events.

What is going on? What perverted ideology animates those who control our global destiny?

Global insider Theodore Roosevelt Malloch, who was worked at the highest levels on Wall Street, at the United Nations, at elite universities like Yale and Oxford and served on the executive board of the World Economic Forum, has a disturbing answer. It’s “Luciferianism.” And Malloch described the ideology and its influence on world leaders in a recent interview on Infowars.

“The E.U. is part, of course, of the globalist empire, the New World Order, and I think many of its origins are in fact quite evil,” Malloch explained. “And I think that we should talk about that.”

Ted Malloch

Malloch, reportedly President Donald Trump’s first pick to be the U.S. ambassador to the E.U., condemned the “unconditional surrender Germany is demanding of Britain” during the Brexit negotiations. “It’s basically a German takeover of Europe, making Europe into its own puppet state, with its crony capitalism and its own fake currency, the Euro,” thundered Malloch.

But beyond the policy implications, Malloch sees a disturbing ideology, Luciferianism, which motivates many global elites.

“Luciferianism is a belief system that venerates the essential characteristics that are affixed to Lucifer,” he explained. “That tradition has been informed by Gnosticism, by Satanism, and it usually refers to Lucifer not as ‘the devil’ per se but as some kind of liberator, some kind of guardian, some kind of guiding spirit. In fact, as the true god as opposed to Jehovah.”

Malloch identified many people in the E.U. hierarchy and in the Democrat Party as aligned with this belief. He explained how Lucifer is seen as a symbol of independence and of true human progress.

“Turning away from God and turning to Lucifer in order to enlighten yourself,” he summarized the creed.

Malloch said the leaked emails of John Podesta, as revealed by Wikileaks, contain powerful evidence there is something sick and wrong in America’s political class.

The emails contain bizarre references to the occult and possible allusions to child abuse using coded language.

“They prove he is involved, very deeply involved, as a committed Luciferian,” Malloch intoned. “Among other things is the invitation by Marina Abramovic to what is called a ‘spirit cooking’ ritual, which I think is the most revealing.

“This is a ritual in which participants use the vilest human body fluids in order to summon spiritual energies for assistance and favor. To any sane person, this sounds completely ludicrous. But to a Luciferian, this is the practice of enlightenment. This is something that initiates them. It’s something that they understand.

“The whole idea is to be possessed by Lucifer himself. And these practices of a Luciferian religion, of an anti-Christianity, I would argue are the absolute inversion of Christianity.”

Malloch further contended cannibalism and pedophilia are “common practices amongst Luciferians.”

Malloch said the global elite are infuriated by the rising influence of Christianity in Russia, which presents an obstacle to global control.

“They obviously have to feel very annoyed by any people, any person, any community, any nation that turns their hearts back to God, and there’s increasing evidence that lots of people in Russia are doing that,” Malloch said. “Obviously, that was impossible during the 70 years of heinous Communism. So they are falling back on these traditions, their old religion, the Eastern Orthodoxy in Russia. But if you look at the pure statistics around the world, about 85 percent of people believe in God in different spiritual traditions, in different sacred texts … Luciferians detest this, and particularly detest the Christian tradition, because Lucifer is the fallen angel away from Christ.”

Malloch, an insider who has been termed a “global Sherpa” because of his ability to navigate the worldwide networks of elite power, says all of this evidence should lead Americans to question just what kind of an elite rules them.

“It’s beyond detestable,” said Malloch. “It’s actually radical evil. We have to expose this, where it exists, to the degree it exists, the fact that it is at the top of our government, that fact that it is at the top of international organizations.”

Malloch referenced the infamous and influential leftist “community organizer” Saul Alinsky and his dedication of his book “Rules for Radicals” to Lucifer.

As Alinsky wrote:

“Lest we forget at least an over the shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology and history (and who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins – or which is which), the very first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom – Lucifer.”

Host Alex Jones argued figures such as Alinsky would say they are making these comparisons to Lucifer in a cheeky way, simply meant to provoke. However, in a deeper sense, Jones claimed such figures really do believe they are setting themselves up as gods on earth.

Malloch largely agreed with this analysis.

“They’re turning to this form of anti-Christ, to Lucifer, and that’s the foundation for their ‘enlightenment’ and for their institutions,” said Malloch. “I would argue even for the definition of this whole New World Order.”

Malloch expressed the hope the Deep State saboteurs trying to set up Donald Trump would be brought to justice in the new year. And he hailed the Republican Party’s triumph on taxes.

“I was in tears when I saw the Republican Congress on the steps there with the president and I mean, it’s just an incredible accomplishment,” Malloch said. “It’s taken three decades to bring this about. But the leader of this whole exercise is the person that took center stage. He shared the stage with many of its authors of course but without Donald Trump this wouldn’t have happened.”

Most importantly, Malloch urged Americans not to give in to despair and to continue to fight for American independence from globalist control and a corrupt ruling class animated by evil ideas.

“We can’t give up!” exclaimed Malloch. “We have to pray for this country. It’s like Poland and Hungary, where they’re actually battling the European Union over this very culture right now.”

The evil is out there! Pentagon ufo disclosure is the beginning of a new deception after 70 years of lying of swamp gas and weather balloons

Posted by Gary Walton

26 December 2017
The truth is finally out there, or is a new deception is on the cards?
The Pentagon admitted it ran a secret UFO investigation programme for five years until 2012.
Luis Elizondo, who was the head of the Advanced Threat Identification Programme (AATIP), a US program set up to investigate reports of unidentified flying objects, UFO's, has declared the existence of unidentified flying objects using technology more advanced than human capabilities has been proved “beyond a reasonable doubt”.
So...There it is a disclosure of sorts.
According to the Department of Defence (DoD), AATIP which was terminated in 2012, produced documents that described sightings of aircraft travelling at extremely high speeds with no visible signs of propulsion.
The Pentagon has also revealed that they recovered metal alloys from a UFO that they do not recognize.
The materials are said to have properties that are amazing and are currently said to be in storage in buildings in Las Vegas that have been modified.
The Department of Defence did not have any idea as to what the materials are as it was a compound that is unknown to them.
While the Pentagon has said that the Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Programme had been closed down five years ago due to officials at the Department of Defense moving funds to other priorities, we shouldn't necessarily believe them since we have been lied to since 1947 when William Brazel, a foreman working on a small farm, noticed strange clusters of debris

(50 km) north of Roswell, New Mexico, ( some of the debris was claimed to include materials said to have properties that are amazing!!!)
William Brazel contacted the military of his find.
The United States Armed Forces then released a press statement to the Roswell Daily Record claiming they had recovered a flying saucer on a ranch in the Roswell area only to claim in another press release later that day the RAAF personnel had recovered a weather balloon. A press conference was held, featuring debris (foil, rubber and wood) said to be from the crashed object, which seemed to confirm its description as a weather balloon.
After 70 years of denial and deception, the US finally confirm the existence of unidentified flying objects, ufos, what will be the next big DECEPTION?
Will we be told these entities are not interplanetary but interdimensional and are demonic rather than a friendly super intelligent friend who has flown here to help our species evolve?
Definitely not, 2018 promises to be a very interesting year, the evil is out there.

Checkmate humanity: In four hours, a robot taught itself chess, then beat a grandmaster with moves never devised in the game's 1,500-year history and the implications are terrifying

  • Robot taught itself chess in just four hours and learned moves never seen before

  • Oxford academic: AI could go rogue and become too complex for engineers

  • AlphaZero surpassed years of human knowledge in just a few hours of chess

By John Naish for the Daily Mail

PUBLISHED: 02:16, 22 December 2017 | UPDATED: 02:16, 22 December 2017

Will robots one day destroy us? It’s a question that increasingly preoccupies many of our most brilliant scientists and tech entrepreneurs.

For developments in artificial intelligence (AI) — machines programmed to perform tasks that normally require human intelligence — are poised to reshape our workplace and leisure time dramatically.

This year, a leading Oxford academic, Professor Michael Wooldridge, warned MPs that AI could go ‘rogue’, that machines might become so complex that the engineers who create them will no longer understand them or be able to predict how they function.

AlphaZero taught itself chess in just four hours and thrashed a grandmaster using moves never seen before in the game's 1,500 year history

Yes, it’s a concern, but a ‘historic’ new development makes unpredictable decisions by AI machines the least of our worries. And it all started with a game of chess.

AlphaZero, an AI computer program, this month proved itself to be the world’s greatest ever chess champion, thrashing a previous title-holder, another AI system called Stockfish 8, in a 100-game marathon.

So far, so nerdy, and possibly something only chess devotees or computer geeks might get excited about.

But what’s so frighteningly clever about AlphaZero is that it taught itself chess in just four hours. It was simply given the rules and — crucially — instructed to learn how to win by playing against itself.

In doing so, it assimilated hundreds of years of chess knowledge and tactics — but then went on to surpass all previous human invention in the game.

In those 240 minutes of practice, the program not only taught itself how to play but developed tactics that are unbeatably innovative — and revealed its startling ability to trounce human intelligence. Some of its winning moves had never been recorded in the 1,500 years that human brains have pitted wits across the chequered board.

Employing your King as an attacking piece? Unprecedented. But AlphaZero wielded it with merciless self-taught logic.

Garry Kasparov, the grandmaster who was famously defeated by IBM’s supercomputer Deep Blue in 1997 when it was pre-programmed with the best moves, said: ‘The ability of a machine to surpass centuries of human knowledge . . . is a world-changing tool.’

Simon Williams, the English grandmaster, claimed this was ‘one for the history books’ and joked: ‘On December 6, 2017, AlphaZero took over the chess world . . . eventually solving the game and finally enslaving the human race as pets.’

The wider implications are indeed chilling, as I will explain.

AlphaZero was born in London, the brainchild of a UK company called DeepMind, which develops computer programs that learn for themselves. It was bought by Google for £400 million in 2014.

The complex piece of programming that created AlphaZero can be more simply described as an algorithm — a set of mathematical instructions or rules that can work out answers to problems.

The other term for it is a ‘deep machine learning’ tool. The more data that an AI such as AlphaZero processes, the more it teaches itself — by reprogramming itself with the new knowledge.

In this way, its problem-solving powers become stronger all the time, multiplying its intelligence at speeds and scales far beyond the abilities of a human brain. As a result it is unconstrained by the limits of human thinking, as its success in chess proved.

But the real purpose of such artificial intelligence goes far beyond playing board games against other boxes of silicon chips. It is already starting to make life-or-death decisions in the high-tech world of cancer diagnosis.

Garry Kasparov the grandmaster who was famously defeated by IBM’s supercomputer Deep Blue in 1997 when it was pre-programmed with the best moves, said: ‘The ability of a machine to surpass centuries of human knowledge . . . is a world-changing tool.’
It is being trialled at NHS hospitals in London, including University College London Hospital (UCLH) and Moorfields Eye Hospital.

At UCLH, a system is being developed in which an AI developed by DeepMind will analyse scans of patients with cancers of the head and neck, which afflict more than 11,000 people a year in the UK.

Google experts say the AI should be able to teach itself to read these scans ever quicker and more accurately than any human, so radiation can be more precisely targeted at tumours while minimising damage to healthy tissues in the brain and neck. What currently takes doctors and radiologists four hours could be done in less than an hour.

Meanwhile, at Moorfields, a DeepMind AI will analyse the 3,000 or so high-tech eye scans carried out each week. Currently, only a handful of experts can interpret the results, which may cause delays in treatment. It is believed that AI will be able to identify problem scans faster.

On the surface, it looks like a win-win for patients and the NHS. But there are major issues. The first is privacy — the London hospital trials have involved handing over the scans of more than a million NHS patients to Google.

This is causing alarm among privacy campaigners and academics. Dr Julia Powles, who works on technology law and policy at Cambridge University, says ‘Google is getting a free pass for swift and broad access into the NHS, on the back of unproven promises of efficiency and innovation’.

Dr Powles adds: ‘We do not know — and have no power to find out — what Google and DeepMind are really doing with NHS patient data.’

Google has tried to address the criticisms of its project by declaring that all data access will be subject to NHS monitoring, but this is an organisation that has long had to contend with allegations of prying into people’s data for commercial advantage.

It faces court action in the UK over claims it unlawfully harvested information from 5.4 million UK users by bypassing privacy settings on their iPhones. The group taking action, called Google You Owe Us, alleges Google placed ‘cookies’ (used to collect information from devices to deliver tailored adverts) on users’ phones without their knowledge or permission.

Google has responded: ‘This is not new. We don’t believe it has any merit and we will contest it.’

But the insertion of a super-intelligent AI into NHS decision-making procedures brings an infinitely more worrying concern.

It is an open secret that the NHS effectively rations access to care — through waiting lists, bed numbers and limiting availability of drugs and treatments — as it will never have enough funds to give everyone the service they need.

The harsh reality is that some deserving people lose out.

The harsher alternative is to be coldly rational by deciding who and who not to treat. It would be most cost-effective to exterminate terminally ill or even chronically ill patients, or sickly children. Those funds would be better spent on patients who might be returned to health — and to productive, tax-paying lives.

This is, of course, an approach too repugnant for civilised societies to contemplate. But decision-making AIs such as AlphaZero don’t use compassionate human logic because it gets in the way. (The ‘Zero’ in that program’s name indicates it needs no human input.)

The same sort of computer mind that can conjure up new chess moves might easily decide that the most efficient way to streamline the health service would be to get rid of the vulnerable and needy.

How we keep control of deep learning machines that will soon be employed in every area of our lives is a challenge that may well prove insurmountable. Already top IT experts warn that deep-learning algorithms can run riotously out of control because we don’t know what they’re teaching themselves.

And the programs can develop distinctly worrying ideas. A system developed in America for probation services to predict the risk of parole-seekers reoffending was recently discovered to have quickly become unfairly racially biased.

DeepMind certainly acknowledges the potential for problems. In October it launched a research team to investigate the ethics of AI decision-making. The team has eight full-time staff at the moment, but DeepMind wants to have around 25 in a year’s time.

But, one wonders, are 25 human minds enough to take on the super-intelligent, constantly learning and strategising powers of a monstrously developed AI?

The genie is out of the bottle. In building a machine that may revolutionise healthcare, we have created a system that can out-think us in a trice. It’s a marvel of human ingenuity. But we must somehow ensure that we stay in charge — or it may be checkmate for humanity.

US lifts ban on genetically modifying viruses to make them more deadly

GENETIC engineers can now mutate viruses to make them even more dangerous after the United States scrapped laws banning such experiments.

Jamie Seidel

December 21, 2017

SCIENTISTS eager to genetically engineer viruses to become even more deadly in order to understand how pandemics arise have been given the green light in the United States.

President Trump’s Federal Government yesterday ended a three-year moratorium on allowing such research to be funded.

The moratorium was introduced after experts raised fears that such ‘monster’ germs could possibly escape laboratories — unleashing the very kind of pandemic they intended to avert.

Now the New York Times reports the only thing in the way of such studies is if a panel of scientists decides the benefits outweigh the risks and suitable security is in place.

Vials of flu vaccines. No vaccine is perfect, and it can take many years to find out how well a new vaccine works and how long it lasts. The annual flu vaccine is a particularly hard one to nail. The virus changes quickly and spreads easily. Picture: APSource:AP

UNDERSTANDING EVOLUTION

That viruses mutate naturally is a fact of life. Every year a new variety of the Common Cold sweeps the world, exploiting new vulnerabilities in the human immune system.

Sometimes that mutation can be disastrous — such as the pandemic influenza which swept the world in 1918, killing anywhere between 20 and 40 million people.

Among the studies health scientists wish to complete involve identifying how common viruses — such as bird flu — can mutate in ways that increase the ease with which they are transmitted, or become more deadly to humans.

It is hoped the understanding of these processes can help medical science anticipate deadly mutations and prepare the groundwork for effective vaccines.

But in 2014 all such federal research on the flu virus, severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) and the Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS) was stopped.

The Times quotes the head of the National Institutes of Health, Dr Francis Collins, as saying the new regulations will allow any pathogen that can potentially cause pandemics — such as the Ebola virus — to be studied.

THE ERROR FACTOR

Worldwide fears of an accidental release of a potentially deadly new virus were boosted in 2011 after virologists in 2011 deliberately mutated the deadly avian flu virus into a variety that could be transmitted through the air. It was tested on ferrets due to similarities between their respiratory system and ours.

It provoked public outcry, and major international science journals refused to publish its findings.

European Society for Virology defended the experiments, saying the work was intended to be used to “pre-empt” any such outbreak and give medical researchers a “headstart” in treating it.

Other incidents have continued to add fuel to the fears. In 2015 it was reported the US Army accidentally sent the live anthrax virus to Australia. The US National Institutes of Health in 2014 found a forgotten stash of the supposedly eradicated smallpox virus that had been sitting in a freezer for 50 years.

Vladimir Putin and Recep Erdogan today agreed to support the creation of a Palestinian state as Palestine president Mahmud Abbas said that he would 'no longer accept' any peace plan proposed by the US.

The Russian and Turkish presidents spoke in a phone call a day after the UN rejected Donald Trump's controversial decision to recognise Jerusalem as Israel's capital.

A Kremlin statement said the two leaders 'discussed the situation of Middle East peace talks in the context of the resolution adopted by the UN General Assembly on the status of Jerusalem.'

They 'confirmed the mutual disposition to continue to assist in resolving the Palestine-Israeli conflict on the basis of international norms and realisation of the right of the Palestinian people to create an independent state.'

Palestinians have long demanded their own state out of lands claimed by Israel since the Six-Day War in 1967.

Russia and Turkey already recognise the State of Palestine as do 70 per cent of countries in the UN. The US, Britain and western European countries do not.

Trump decided on December 6 to recognise Jerusalem as Israel's capital.

The status of the Holy City is one of the thorniest issues in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, with both sides claiming it as their capital.

On Thursday, the 193-member General Assembly adopted the motion to reject Trump's decision by 128 to nine with 35 abstentions, though the US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley said the vote would make no difference to Washington's decision.

Palestinian president Mahmud Abbas today said that he would 'no longer accept' any peace plan proposed by the United States, dealing a pre-emptive blow to a fresh initiative expected by Washington next year.

US Vice President Mike Pence postponed a trip he was due to make to the region this week, after Palestinian and Arab Christian leaders expressed reluctance to meet him.

'The United States has proven to be a dishonest mediator in the peace process and we will no longer accept any plan from it,' Abbas told a joint press conference with French President Emmanuel Macron.

Macron repeated his earlier condemnations of the US decision on Jerusalem, but he also ruled out recognising Palestine as a state unilaterally, which France has mooted previously.

'The Americans have marginalised themselves and I am trying to not do the same thing,' Macron said, conscious that any move to recognise Palestine would antagonise the Israelis.

Abbas hit out at efforts by the US to 'intimidate' countries ahead of the UN vote.

'I hope that the others will learn the lesson and understand that you cannot impose solutions by using money and trying to buy off countries,' he said in Paris.

Erdogan said the UN vote showed the 'illegality' of Trump's decision, urging the United States to withdraw it.

But US Ambassador Nikki Haley said the vote will 'make no difference' to US policy.

NATO's Middle Eastern Anchor Is Now in Doubt

A trial in the US which implicates Erdogan's son in helping Iran sell sanctioned crude will deepen the anger in Ankara, and the US.

December 21, 2017

Amid multiple spiraling crises both to the east and to the west, a key NATO ally is moving closer to a geopolitical and civilizational choice. It has been long in the making, experts say; it’s a very close call, and one that is so consequential it could have the potential to actually bring down NATO itself.

Turkey’s relationship with its Western partners has been on the rocks for several years now, with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan assuming near-dictatorial powers amid a growing purge at home and allegedly supporting extremists in Syria and elsewhere. Unfolding events from the last few weeks threaten to blow away any attempts to gloss over the rifts.

Reza Zarrab, a Turkish-Iranian banker being held in the US, confessed to helping Iran avoid nuclear sanctions by conducting corrupt transactions through Turkey, and implicated Erdogan. While Turkey has sought to discredit his testimony as unreliable, the evidence collected reportedly includes evidence suppressed in Turkey in a corruption scandal years ago, and reports about the case sent the Turkish currency to record lows against the dollar in November.

Complicating Turkey’s standing with its traditional allies even further, the bombshell came amid unprecedented conflicts between the US and NATO, and a daredevil bid by the Saudi crown prince to redraw the regional political map in his favor — and occurred just as Michael Flynn, President Donald Trump’s disgraced former national security advisor, pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his links to Moscow and Ankara.

Turkey, representing NATO’s second-largest army and a key link between Europe and Asia, is at the epicenter of tectonic global political shifts. With millions of refugees on its territory, it holds the key to Europe’s refugee crisis. It has been seeking to broker a Syria peace deal with Russia and Iran, bypassing the US, the EU and the UN.

Its accession talks with the EU have ground down to a virtual halt amid an intensifying crackdown on domestic dissent following a failed military coup attempt last year. Indeed, Erdogan has spoken about joining the Shanghai Cooperation Organization instead. Its purchase of an advanced Russian air-defense system and the recent scandals have led many to wonder whether it isn’t on a path to fully break with NATO.

“What if Erdogan finds himself unable to travel to Western countries for fear of being arrested as a result of these scandals, what would the alliance even look like in such a situation?” That was the rhetorical question posed by a prominent Turkish analyst, who asked not to be named for fear of persecution, in an interview with WhoWhatWhy.

A Vulnerable Economy

Analysts say Turkey is badly positioned to pick a fight with the US now, particularly since its Persian Gulf trade partners are also plunged deep into uncertainty. Over the past weeks and months, Saudi Arabia’s 32-year old crown prince, Mohammed bin Salman, has embarked on an unprecedented internal purge, has all but declared war on Iran and has put Qatar — a key Turkish partner — under embargo. He has also blockaded Yemen, exacerbating one of the worst recent humanitarian catastrophes, and has plunged Lebanon into chaos by briefly detaining the country’s prime minister and forcing him to resign. All that, ostensibly, with full US support.

Turkish support for Qatar has already angered the Saudis, Cenk Sidar of Sidar Global Advisors — a Washington, D.C.-based strategic advisory firm — told WhoWhatWhy. Now, as Iran faces possible new US sanctions, a nuclear sanctions evasion scandal could create a perfect storm.

“Turkey’s anti-Saudi rhetoric may backfire … as [the] US and Saudi [Arabia] have been orchestrating significant changes in the region,” Sidar said. “Turkey’s dependence on the capital inflows may pose a serious threat for the stability of [the] Turkish economy, especially if Turkish banks face some sanctions following the Zarrab case.”

Turkey’s economy depends heavily on trade and credit from the West and states in the Gulf including Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Iran. Perhaps the strongest argument in favor of a reconciliation between Turkey and its Western partners is the economic one.

Since coming to power in 2002, Erdogan has been a champion of the economy. Right now, official statistics are bullish, with growth projected at slightly above 5% this year. Yet with the steady collapse of the Turkish lira — which has lost about half of its value since 2013 — the heavily indebted private sector, whose loans are generally denominated in foreign currency, is struggling. Turkey has been in Morgan Stanley’s “Fragile File” of emerging economies since 2013.

“Turkey’s economy has actually already collapsed, but we don’t see it yet,” Sabri Oncu, a prominent economist at Istanbul’s Sabanci University, told WhoWhatWhy. He has questioned the official data — and is not alone in pointing out that a new GDP calculation method introduced last year saw Turkey’s GDP miraculously go up by 20%. He added that even the official statistics, namely double-digit inflation, tell a very concerning story.

Others are more sanguine, though the dangers facing Turkey’s economy are widely acknowledged.

“Turkey’s economy can overcome the current situation … if Ankara normalizes the political system,” said Sidar, listing improving relations with the West, guaranteeing the independence of the judiciary and repealing the emergency rule instituted after the unsuccessful coup last year as top priorities.

A Cornered Authoritarian

Nevertheless, Turkey’s interests are not necessarily the same as those of its leader. The intersecting crises come at a time when Erdogan is engaged in a high-stakes domestic power grab and is struggling to shore up his declining popularity in order to stay in power and thus avoid arrest for corruption, Jenny White — a prominent Turkey analyst at Stockholm University — told WhoWhatWhy.

For Erdogan, the trial in New York against Reza Zarrab (who has already pleaded guilty) and Mehmet Hakan Atilla — both accused of running a gold-for-crude scheme through Turkish banks in the early 2010s — has opened an old wound.

Back in late 2013, Turkish prosecutors launched a similar corruption investigation into Zarrab and a long roster of officials that eventually included the president’s own son. Erdogan called the investigation — like the current one — an attempt to overthrow him. He quashed it by firing prosecutors and police.

Now in New York, much of the same evidence is being investigated by the US authorities. “The FBI pieced together what was going on,” prosecutor David Denton told the New York Times for a November 28, 2017, report, “and the evidence they found tells the same story that the evidence collected by the Turkish police did.”

Erdogan is up for reelection in 2019, and White has cited an unpublished recent poll which reportedly showed his support as being around 35 percent, a figure that should be considered with the caveat that Turkish polls are known to vary widely.

In any case, over the past few months, Erdogan has forced out the elected mayors (many of them from his own party) of Istanbul, Ankara and other cities where he lost the popular vote in an April referendum that gave the presidency semi-dictatorial powers.

Many saw this as a desperate attempt to blame his ebbing popularity on officials from his own party, as well as another move to grab power. Hundreds of thousands of Turks have been purged or detained, including judges, prosecutors, military officers, police, academics, journalists and politicians. About half of all Turks are now without elected local officials as a result of the purges.

“It seems to be a takeover of the system, not just of his party, of all of the levers of power,” said White. “He has taken over the judicial system, the security forces, the educational system … Now he's taking over the mayorships, he’s already got the mukhtars [village heads] in his pocket, he’s got every single lever of power. He has destroyed civil society. It’s a way of rooting out opposition.”

The nightmare scenario, added White, would come if Erdogan were to lose hope that he can keep the lid on the economy and social discontent. Then he might secretly stir more violence and chaos in order to present himself as Turkey’s savior. Or he could annul the election and just be “dictator-president,” she said. “What is it that he doesn’t control at that point?”

If Erdogan is able and willing to officially grab all the power by force, he wouldn’t need the economy, or his Western allies as much. This is, in all likelihood, the critical choice Turkey faces. A choice that will affect not only Turkey, but quite plausibly the future of the alliance.

Turkey Temporarily Granted Ancient Ottoman Red Sea Port in Sudan for Rebuilding

26.12.2017

The Red Sea Suakin port used to be Sudan's major harbor when it was ruled by the Ottoman Empire, but during the last century came into disuse after Port Sudan had been constructed 35 miles (60 km) to the north.

According to Sudan's Foreign Minister Ibrahim Ghandour, Turkey will reconstruct a ruined Suakin port city on Sudan's Red Sea coast, which has been temporarily handed over to Ankara so that the country could restore it as a tourist attraction and a transit point for pilgrims traveling to Mecca as announced by President Tayyip Erdogan earlier.

"Imagine, people from Turkey wishing to go on pilgrimage will come and visit the historical areas on Suakin Island," Erdogan said in Khartoum during his first trip to Sudan. "From there … they will cross to Jeddah by boat."

The ancient Red Sea Suakin port was Sudan's major harbor when it was ruled by the Ottoman Empire, but over the last century, it went out of operation after Port Sudan had been constructed 35 miles (60 km) to the north.

Turkey and Sudan have signed several agreements worth $650 million in total, including Turkish investments into the construction of Khartoum's new airport, as well as sector investments in cotton production, electricity generation and building grain silos and meat slaughterhouses, with Erdogan and Bashir planning to increase bilateral trade up to $10 billion.

Ankara will also build a naval dock to maintain civilian and military vessels, which, as Sudan's foreign minister explained, "could result in any kind of military cooperation, while Ankara strives to expand military and economic ties in Africa, opening a $50 million military base in Somalia.Khartoum, in its turn, aims to attract around $10 billion in foreign investments a year after the US lifted sanctions and a trade embargo against the country in October.

The Real “Bad Guys”

Author: Gordon Duff

23.12.2017

After 9/11, America went on a rampage around the world. It fabricated intelligence and unleased thousands of armed gangsters, kidnapping innocent victims from around the world, labeling them terrorist, torturing some for years then quietly releasing most with a lame apology and a few thousand dollars in their pockets.

What isn’t told is the tens of thousands who didn’t survive kidnapping and rendition, buried in mass graves in Poland, Ethiopia, Libya, Romania and a dozen other nations, exactly like the mass graves excavated after World War II, victims of what is called the “holocaust.”

Add to these two million Iraqi dead, mostly children, victims of sanctions, 30,000 Syrian dead from “bombing errors” and the tens of thousands of mistaken drone killings in 45 nations as well and the actions of the “freedom loving” United States begin to deeply parallel those of histories most brutal regimes.

We will discuss a simple issue here, whether it is a reasonable assumption to assess the United States of America as “bad.” Is America, as the United States calls itself, a “bad nation,” representing injustice, aggressive war, religious, racial and sexual discrimination and supporting criminal activities around the world?

Can we go further? Does America support global economic injustice, stifle the growth of democratic governments or even interfere with scientific studies and cultural development? If you are a minority of better educated Americans or a majority of others around the world, the answer is simple, a resounding “yes.”

What is changing is the view of everyday Americans who really aren’t obsessed with Trump’s tweet of the day or what CNN wants people to worry about. That general suspicion that America runs the world’s heroin business and invented both al Qaeda and ISIS is there, average Americans believe it and not because of something crazy they heard on a podcast or read in an email. They figured it out for themselves. “Regular people” aren’t really as stupid as politicians and journalists.

A key area of debunking America’s disease of self-righteousness is the result of satellite-cable television. You see, with dozens of new networks, documentary research usually under tight control by universities long controlled by organizations like the CIA and MI 5/6, only publish books or journal articles. Nobody reads their books, no one sees their articles. All are based on research in libraries filled with other books and research articles, all fabricated and filtered by earlier generations of academic hacks.

Video documentaries are something else entirely. A mixed bag of lunatic fringe and breakthrough research, the public gets to see, firsthand, historical discoveries or, worse still, entire networks dedicated to debunking the lies of the past.

So, when someone says that “Hitler was a nice guy” or that “the holocaust never happened,” things that would cost a university professor not just their job but jail time as well, documentary film makers rake in the profits. Not only that, asking this type of question opens doors. Where Hitler may not be vindicated, though some might hope this to happen, it is generally accepted that the 1967 War was begun by Israel, not Egypt.

It is also accepted that the US has committed horrible crimes against nations like Iran or Vietnam, so many others, and that the excuses given during the Cold War about opposing “the Evil Empire” of the Soviet Union are no longer plausible. America, or those secretly running America, were simply robbing the world blind by putting puppet governments in power around the world.

Everyday Americans, perhaps a majority, do believe this now, though no poll on this subject will ever be published.

Only a few days before this was written, the US Ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, chastised the Security Council for passing, except for a lone American veto, war crimes sanctions against Israel for claiming its capitol in occupied Palestinian territory.

The “special relationship” between America and Britain died that day. In reality, NATO died that day as well. The “triumvirate “put- together by slumlord turned diplomat Jared Kushner, of Saudi Arabia, Israel and the Trump regime, has alienated every American ally. Were one to believe polls published in America, few take American foreign policy seriously nor support any suggested Trump based military action against any nation, North Korea, Canada, Iran, China or Britain. Any of those, or any other, could and likely will, at some time, be victim of a Trump “tweet” threatening nuclear holocaust.

Re-examination of history, be it the Napoleonic Wars or history of the Vatican, is no long consigned to “revisionism” or “conspiracy theory.”

This, of course, explains the flurry of internet insanity, where, were one to scratch the surface, one would find security agencies funding hundreds, even thousands of fake news and conspiracy websites hoping to literally drown newfound truths in a sludge of toxic slander and manufactured but pointless “controversy.”

Behind this is an even nastier reality, one also generally accepted around the world, that governments in general are all controlled by global interest groups that exploit resources, impoverish nations with contrived debt and do so behind a veneer of war and fake discord misnamed “terrorism” or “extremism.”

This leaves a select few nations that refuse to submit. Is there a list, Venezuela, Syria, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, how many others? Do Russia and China belong on the list, protected by their nuclear arsenals?

Behind this all is a shadowy world of international trade, trade in equities, bonds, imaginary bonds, commodities, real or imaginary, futures of commodities real and imaginary, trade in metals and, most insane of all “currencies.” All is artifice, none is real, all involves the creation of “wealth” and “power” without power at all, only deception and submission.

Were one to return to the world of newfound documentary research, are questions such as these, and individuals such as Hitler, Stalin or even the Kaiser, to be judged on their horrific crimes, which may just possibly be tainted by fake history, or by their lack of cooperation with the institutions of eternal human slavery? We ask.

The terrorist group Islamic State has over 10,000 loyal fighters in Afghanistan, and Moscow believes the US may be underestimating their threat, Russia’s special envoy says.

Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) was pushed out of their home base in Syria and Iraq this year by separate military operations of a US-led coalition, and the Syrian Army backed by Russia. Many of the IS fighters who fled those countries ended up in Afghanistan, where the terrorist group has as many as 10,000 troops at the moment, Zamir Kabulov, the head of the Middle East department in the Russian Foreign Ministry, said.

“Russia was among the first nations to ring alarm about the expansion of IS into Afghanistan,” he told RIA Novosti. “Lately IS has boosted its presence in the country. Our estimate is that their force there is stronger than 10,000 troops and is continuing to grow. That includes new fighters with combat experience received in Syria and Iraq.”

IS forces are strongest in the north of Afghanistan on the border with Tajikistan and Turkmenistan – a point of concern for Russia, which has close historic ties with both nations, Kabulov added.

“IS goals are definitely to expand its influence outside of Afghanistan, which they use as a staging ground. This poses a significant security threat for Central Asia and southern parts of Russia,” Kabulov stressed.

The diplomat said Russia and the US have a difference of opinion about how big a threat IS poses in Afghanistan and Central Asia. Washington, he said, is focused on fighting the Taliban and is in the process of alienating other nations in the region, which America criticizes for failing to put enough pressure on the militant movement, while overlooking its own failures.

“Considering the realities on the ground, which is that the Taliban controls half of the country, one can ask the question: does the US pull its weight? Russia stands for cooperation with international partners based on equality and which takes into account national interests of all nations of the region,” Kabulov said, apparently referring to Washington’s resent showdown with Pakistan.

The US accused Islamabad of failing to properly fight the Taliban and threatened it with repercussions unless Pakistan ramps up counterinsurgency operations in its tribal areas. The criticism sparked some anti-America sentiment among Pakistani military commanders.

Kabulov said Moscow was prepared to work together with Washington to foster stability in Afghanistan, and said it was America’s decision to stop such cooperation, not Russia’s. In April, Moscow invited the US to take part in Russia-hosted Afghanistan peace talks, but the US declined to participate.

The West Proves That Poland's Loyalty Was Worthless

Tyler Durden

December 23, 2017

Authored by Andrew Korybko via Oriental Review,

Poland, one of the most loyal EU members, was just stabbed in the back by Brussels after the bloc initiated punitive Article 7 proceedings against it, proving that Warsaw’s unwavering loyalty to the West was worthless this entire time and thus giving Poles a reason to reconsider whether it’s time that they attempted to restore their long-lost Great Power status in Europe.

Many Poles were shocked to hear that Brussels had begun the process to sanction their country, despite knowing in the back of their minds all along that this was a very probable scenario. The EU had been warning Poland for months now that it wouldn’t tolerate the ruling Law & Justice party’s (PiS) judicial reforms, labelling them as “anti-democratic” in spite of the same envisioned changes already being in place in many Western European countries. All that PiS wants to do is make it so that judges are accountable to the people, not to one another, and break the backs of the communist-era clique that still controls the country’s courts. This is crucial in the modern context because PiS follows a EuroRealist ideology that aspires to improve Poland’s sovereign standing in the EU, a vision which is directly at odds with EU-hegemon Germany’s EuroLiberalism that instead wants all member states to be subservient to an unelected bureaucracy in Brussels.

EuroRealism vs. EuroLiberalism

The matter is an urgent one for Poland because PiS’ Civic Platform (PO) predecessors stacked the courts with their allies before leaving power after the ruling party won the first-ever post-communist electoral majority in the country’s history in 2015. PO’s former leader is the current President of the European Council Donald Tusk, and he and his organization are popularly regarded as Germany’s proxies in Poland. PiS, on the other hand, is allied with Hungary Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s Fidesz party, with which it shares a strident belief in the conservative ideology of EuroRealism. It had long been the case that EuroLiberalism was on the ascent in Europe ever since the end of the Cold War, but the 2008 global economic recession and the 2015 Migrant Crisis sparked a grassroots movement all across Central and Eastern Europe which has seen the rapid rise of EuroRealism.

Landlocked and tiny Hungary is structurally unable to affect any bloc-wide change in the EU, but its much larger Visegrad partner Poland is in a comparatively better position to do so, hence why Budapest passed the ideological baton to Warsaw in encouraging Poland to lead the “Three Seas Initiative” (“Intermarium”). Germany feels threatened by the Polish-Hungary Strategic Partnership and senses that the common people of Central and Eastern Europe under their sway are turning against Berlin, watching in horror as they reject the dangerous EuroLiberalism that threatens their national identities and instead embrace the EuroRealism that promises to protect them. The most powerful manifestation of this trend in practice is Poland and Hungary’s utter refusal to accept even a single forcibly relocated civilizationally dissimilar migrant into their countries, while their fellow Visegrad member of the Czech Republic has only admitted a dozen. As a result, all three countries are therefore being threatened with sanctions by Brussels on Berlin’s behalf.

Migrant Motivations

It’s with this backdrop in mind that many people believe that Article 7 was initiated against Poland in order to punish it for being the most powerful and outspoken member of the “Three Seas Initiative” against the EU’s forced migrant relocation scheme, with Warsaw’s judicial reforms being used as a convenient excuse. The EU wants to make an example out of Poland after being utterly humiliated by its new Prime Minister Matesuz Morawiecki who pledged earlier this month to make Europe Christian again and mocked the bloc’s “values”. The ongoing Color Revolution unrest in the country hasn’t succeed in toppling the government after almost two years, and if anything, it’s been counterproductive because the authorities and their supporters exposed the connections that the PO-led movement has to Germany and George Soros and therefore strengthened their domestic support.

Poland Pushes Back

All that’s needed now for Poland to fully unleash its regional leadership potential is to reform the judiciary and preempt any “constitutional coup” from obstructing PiS’ plans to implement its historic electoral mandate, which is what President Andrzej Duda just did right after the EU’s Article 7 announcement. Proving that Poland won’t be intimidated, President Duda defiantly signed the most “controversial” pieces of legislation that he had previously been holding off on, thus putting the country on the path of ‘no return’. Warsaw formally has three months to respond to Brussels’ concerns about its ‘anti-democratic’ measures, but it’s highly unlikely that it will walk back its move. Therefore, the next step is for the EU to get 22 of its 28 members to issue an official ‘warning’ to Warsaw before trying to strip it of its voting privileges in the bloc. This unprecedented sanction can’t be implemented without a consensus, however, and Hungary has sworn to oppose it, even though this will predictably put Premier Orban in Germany’s Color Revolution crosshairs ahead of next year’s elections.

From Sociological Complexes To Geopolitical Contexts

Having explained the circumstances in which the EU’s first-ever use of Article 7 is occurring, it’s now time to describe the reaction that this unparalleled move has had in Poland. The country is chock-full of sociological complexes as a result of its history, with the most prominent being the instinctual eschewing of responsibility for all of its regrettable experiences throughout the centuries. One of the forms that this takes is the concept of “Russian Guilt”, whereby Poland’s eastern civilizational neighbor is always framed as an evil menace forever conspiring to undermine it, thus making it blameworthy for everything bad that’s ever happened to Poland and consequently subject to incessant guilt-tripping. The US skillfully manipulated this deeply held sentiment in Polish society in order to fast track the country’s incorporation into NATO for use as a springboard against Russia, which it all but admits in the Trump Administration’s National Security Strategy when the authors remark that Washington’s “European allies and partners increase [its] strategic reach and provide access to forward basing and overflight rights for global operations”.

As for the other manifestation of this sociological complex, almost all Poles have also made the concept of “Western Betrayal” an intrinsic part of their national identity, whereas the idea is that the Western Allies betrayed Poland by letting it fall to the Nazi onslaught in September 1939 despite promising to protect it in the event that Hitler attacked. Up until that moment, Poles had a naïvely trusting view of the West that was really nothing more than a radical ideological reaction to the equally extreme notion of “Russian Guilt”, but this ‘innocent’ idea was harshly shattered when the UK and France refused to help them and instead let the country languish under Nazi occupation for years. Hitler was thus allowed to quickly get to work in executing his “Final Solution”, eventually culling around a fifth of Poland’s prewar population and setting up the globally infamous death camps of Auschwitz-Birkenau and Treblinka.

Although the Poles never forgot how much they suffered because of Western Betrayal, they soon found ways to ‘forgive’ or at the very least excuse their wartime allies because of the immediacy in which their country was forced to adhere to Soviet-imposed communism, thus rekindling the centuries-long concept of “Russian Guilt” and completely overriding whatever animosity most Poles felt towards the West. The Poles were therefore more than eager to shed Soviet rule and proudly become the first non-communist country in the Eastern Bloc following the 1989 Roundtable Talks and subsequent elections, which enabled the population to wholly embrace the West and begin the process of applying to its institutions. All throughout this time, however, the emotionally predisposed Poles by and large never conceived of either of their two complexes as being driven by geopolitics, instead preferring to perceive them through emotional lenses instead. Had they been more prudent, then they wouldn’t have been so heartbroken when the West betrayed them for a second time by sanctioning them.

The Real Western Betrayal

The complexes of “Russian Guilt” and “Western Betrayal” that pervade throughout all of Polish society are due to geopolitics, not any inherent hatred of Russians or Westerners towards Poles, which makes the second one less of a “betrayal” or more along the lines of Poland having been taken advantage of instead. That’s not to excuse what happened, but merely to explain it in its proper context, though the same can’t be said for what the EU just did to Poland. By sanctioning its largest, most loyal, and totally enthralled post-communist member, the West really did betray Poland this time. All Poles have been programmed to think that Russians are “bad” and their Western partners “good”, but that political preconception is now debunked because of Brussels’ utilization of Article 7. Even though some lingering suspicions may have remained towards the West ever since the “first” Western Betrayal, these were largely replaced with “Russian Guilt”, as was previously explained. The Poles might have “expected” something like this from Russia, but many never truly believed that their Western “friends”, of all people, would seriously consider sanctioning them.

Poland and its people did all that they could to ingratiate themselves with the West, demonstrating what could accurately be characterized as an intense inferiority complex that developed in reaction to the superiority one that they’ve traditionally felt towards Russians. They were the ultimate “fifth column” during the Cold War, playing a pivotal role in the dismantlement of communism, the Eastern Bloc, and in turn contributing to the dissolution of the Soviet Union in their own geopolitical way, but instead of being “rewarded” by the West, they’re now being sanctioned. Most Poles implicitly understand, whether they admit it or not, that their partnership with the US is mostly due to both countries’ shared anti-Russian foreign policies, and Poland’s patriot missile purchase is essentially a bribe to keep Washington on Warsaw’s side during its ‘war’ with Brussels. That being said, the overwhelming majority of Poles believed to some extent or another that their relationship with Western Europe was “more sincere”, though this illusion has now been totally dispelled among all but the most dogmatic Color Revolutionary EuroLiberals by the real Western Betrayal that just took place.

On The Path To Great Power Status

It’s not an understatement to say that Poles are a patriotic people, and their historical story has imbued them with the idea that their country is constantly being besieged from abroad. It’s this mentality that explains why the population overwhelming supports PiS rejecting Brussels’ scheme to forcibly relocate civilizationally dissimilar migrants to their homeland, and while the judicial reforms are much more polarizing, the fact that they’ve led to a direct and condescending attack against Poland’s sovereignty has raised the prospect that the majority-“moderate” members of the country’s opposition will break ranks with the Color Revolutionary movement in order to defend their country from this unequivocal asymmetrical offensive against it. It’s one thing for a person to have been misled into thinking that they’re partaking in the “Solidarity of their times” and “following in their parents’ footsteps”, and another to continue participating in an externally directed movement that’s acting as the fifth column for overthrowing their government on behalf of Germany after Brussels issued its clear declaration of Hybrid War against Poland.

It doesn’t matter if they hate PiS and what it represents or not –when the nation is under attack, Poles have traditionally come together to defend it, and in the instances when they let foreign-manipulated domestic divisions prevent that, they ended up losing their independence. While it should be taken for granted that a fair share of Poles (and especially the youth) might have been brainwashed by the EuroLiberal ideology over the past quarter of a century, the country’s distinct civilizational characteristics of traditionalism, conservatism, and especially patriotism are still widely present in society, meaning that most Poles will probably stand together with their compatriots in protesting against the external enemy of the EU. This doesn’t mean that Poles are “anti-Western”, but just that they are against the Soviet-like totalitarianism that the EU has come to embody. Instead of leaving the EU and Western institutions, they want to reform them through the “Three Seas Initiative” into becoming more respectful of national sovereignty and the other values that the Poles had initially been duped into thinking that they represented.

Poland’s long-awaited historical moment has finally arrived, and the country is beginning the lengthy campaign to restore its Great Power status in Europe by first becoming the continent’s ideological beacon. Warsaw is exercising principled leadership in the Central and Eastern European space by bravely resisting Berlin and Brussels’ bullying, and the latest – and this time, indisputably real – Western Betrayal was the red line that needed to be crossed in order to harness society’s support for taking this fateful step. An agitated minority in the country is hell-bent on misleading others and using this event as a tripwire for exacerbating their domestic destabilization operations, and Poland still has yet to free itself and the region from the economic chains of tutelage that tie them to Germany. No one should therefore expect that what Poland is trying to do will be easy or that it will yield immediate results, but the fact of the matter that should be focused on by all is that Warsaw has crossed the Rubicon in its relations with Brussels, and that nothing will ever be the same between them again.

'There's a war coming,' Marine Corps general warns US troops

December 23, 2017

Gen. Robert Neller, commandant of the U.S. Marine Corps, testifies on Capitol Hill, March 14, 2017. (Reuters)

A Marine Corps commandant on Thursday warned U.S. troops stationed in Norway to be prepared for a coming war.

“I hope I’m wrong, but there’s a war coming,” Gen. Robert Neller told them. “You’re in a fight here, an informational fight, a political fight, by your presence.”

Neller pointed to the near future possibility of Russia and the Pacific theater being the next major areas of conflict.

Sgt. Maj. Ronald Green sounded a similar tone.

"Just remember why you're here," Green said. "They're watching. Just like you watch them, they watch you. We've got 300 Marines up here; we could go from 300 to 3,000 overnight. We could raise the bar."

The warnings came a day before Defense Secretary Jim Mattis told troops at Fort Bragg, N.C., that "storm clouds are gathering" over the Korean Peninsula.

Whether the comments were more than motivational rhetoric remained unclear.

Neller and Green's arrival in Norway coincided with heightened tensions between the U.S. and its NATO allies and Russia. According to Military.com, Russia warned Norway that its decision to host a new unit of U.S. troops through the end of 2018 would negatively affect relations.

Norway has insisted having U.S. troops stationed there is merely part of an effort to enhance ties with NATO allies and conduct cold-weather combat operations.

At a Q&A session with the troops in the Norwegian Home Guard base near Trondheim, Neller said that the U.S. could shift its focus from the Middle East to Eastern Europe, citing Russia’s conflicts with Ukraine and Georgia as justification. He told the Marines that they should be prepared for a “big-ass fight” on the horizon.

Russia has reportedly been uneasy about the presence of American troops close to its borders. The 300 U.S. Marines deployed to Norway in June 2016 were the first foreign troops allowed to operate in the country since World War II.

In September of this year, Russia conducted a joint-military exercise with neighboring Belarus that involved 12,700 troops.

A new National Security Strategy unveiled by the Trump administration on Monday singled out Russia and China as two world powers challenging “American power, influence, and interests, attempting to erode American security and prosperity.”

Facebook Handing Over More Info To US Government: ‘This Is What Facebook Was Designed To Do’

Mac Salvo

December 20, 2017

Every year, Facebook gets tens of thousands of requests for data from governments worldwide, including search warrants, subpoenas, or calls to restrict certain kinds of content. And, according to a new report, those requests are increasing at an alarming rate.

According to QZ.com, in the United States, the requests rose by 26% from the last six months of 2016 to the first six months of 2017, while globally, requests increased by about 21%. Since 2013, when the company first started providing data on government requests, the US number has been steadily rising—it has roughly tripled in a period of four years.

This is alarming many and causing a concern about privacy. Joe Joseph, from the Daily Sheeple, isn’t sugarcoating the reality of Facebook either. “Duh. This is exactly what Facebook was designed to do,” says Joseph.

“You have to remember that Zuckerberg had “seed money” and that seed money came from CIA front companies that put a lot of resources into this and…basically think about it as like, sowing seeds; if you will. They knew that Facebook was gonna bear fruit. I don’t think they realized just how big it would become. But I can tell you that they get so much information and intel from social media: I don’t think that it would go away even if we wanted it to.”

The government keeps requesting the information, and Facebook continues to comply with the government’s demands. In the first six months of 2013, it granted the government—which includes the police—79% of requests (“some data was produced” in these cases, the company says); in the first six months of 2017, that share rose to 85%. “We continue to carefully scrutinize each request we receive for account data — whether from an authority in the U.S., Europe, or elsewhere — to make sure it is legally sufficient,” Chris Sonderby, the company’s general counsel, wrote in a post. “If a request appears to be deficient or overly broad, we push back, and will fight in court, if necessary.”

But Joseph thinks Facebook is just trying to pacify the easily manipulated sheeple of society. “This is pretty troubling when you think about what you put out there, what they collect, and Facebook only being one of the many avenues that they have,” Joseph says. “The United States is collecting your data. Whether you like it or not. They are scooping up everything. And they’re taking it and they’re storing it in their facility at Bluffdale, Utah which has the capacity at this time to store every communication on the face of this earth for the next one hundred years.”

“It’s unbelievable,” Joseph continues. “This is stuff that is unacceptable to me, but I’m sure, to a lot of you. And these companies have really gone too far…they can reconstruct your life and make anyone they want a patsy.”

Can’t Focus? 10 Minutes Of Exercise Gives Brain Burst Of Energy, Study Finds

25 December 2017

LONDON, Ontario — For students struggling to focus on that term paper or office workers who need an extra creative boost when tackling a difficult project, a new study finds that a 10-minute burst of exercise can provide a quick mental jumpstart to get the brainwaves moving.

Researchers at Western University in Canada recruited a group of healthy young adults to do one of two activities: either sit down and read a magazine for 10 minutes, or pedal at a moderate-to-vigorous pace on an exercise bike for the same length of time.

After completing their tasks, participants were hooked up to eye-tracking devices that logged the their reaction times during a challenging eye movement task. The task tapped into the frontal lobe of the brain, an area known for overseeing executive functions like problem solving, decision making, and judgment.

“Those who had exercised showed immediate improvement. Their responses were more accurate and their reaction times were up to 50 milliseconds shorter than their pre-exercise values. That may seem minuscule but it represented a 14-per-cent gain in cognitive performance in some instances,” says study co-author Matthew Heath, a kinesiology professor and supervisor in the university’s graduate program for neuroscience, in a news release.

In other words, Heath says that the results showed that just 10 minutes of aerobic exercise can provide a significant spark for the brain — enough to help people focus and perform better on challenging assignments.

“I always tell my students before they write a test or an exam or go into an interview — or do anything that is cognitively demanding – they should get some exercise first,” he adds. “Our study shows the brain’s networks like it. They perform better.”

The researchers hope that in addition to being useful for students or workers, the results may also benefit less mobile elderly adults battling dementia or similar conditions.

“Some people can’t commit to a long-term exercise regime because of time or physical capacity. This shows that people can cycle or walk briskly for a short duration, even once, and find immediate benefits,” he says.

If you’re wondering how long the mental burst lasts, Heath is now working on a new experiment to answer that very question.

The results for his completed study were published in the Jan. 2018 edition of the journal Neuropsychologia.

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but [this] one thing [I do,] forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform [it] until the day of Jesus Christ.”
