The Name Of The Lord

Y E S H U A - IN THE TANAKH

(The Name of JESUS in the Old Testament)

Arthur E. Glass
In dealing with my Jewish brethren for the past many years in Canada, the United States,
Argentina and Uruguay. I had one great difficulty, and it was this: My Jewish people would
always fling at me this challenging question,
If Jesus is our Messiah, and the whole Old Testament is about Him,
how come His name is never mentioned
in it even once?"

I could never answer it satisfactorily to their way of thinking, and I admit I often wondered why His name was not actually written in the Old Bible.  Oh, yes, I could show them His divine titles  in Isaiah 7:14, 9:6 and Jeremiah 23:5,6, and even the word MESSIAH in several places; but the Hebrew name that would be equal to Jesus, that I could not show.  Then one day the Holy Spirit opened my eyes, and I just shouted.  There was the very NAME, Jesus, found in the Old Testament about 100 times all the way from GENESIS to HABAKKUK!  Yes, the very word - the very NAME - that the angel Gabriel used in Luke 1:31 when he told Mary about the Son she was to have.  "Where do we find that NAME?" you ask.  Here it is, friend: Every time the Old Testament uses the word SALVATION (especially with the Hebrew suffix meaning "my," thy," or "his"), with very few exceptions (when the word is impersonal), it is the very same word, YESHUA (Jesus), used in Matthew 1:21. Let us remember that the angel who spoke to Mary and the angel who spoke to Joseph in his dream did not speak in English, Latin, or Greek, but in Hebrew; and neither were Mary or Joseph slow to grasp the meaning and significance of the NAME of this divine Son and its relation to His character and His work of salvation.  For in the Old Testament all great characters were given names with a specific and significant meaning.

For example, in Genesis 5:29, Lamech called his son Noah [Comfort], saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and tell of our hands.  In Genesis 10:25, Eber calls his firstborn son, Peleg [Division]; for in his days was the earth divided.  The same is true of Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Jacob (changed to Israel-God's Prince), and all of Jacob's sons (see Genesis, chapters 29-32).  In Exodus 2:10, Pharaoh's daughter called the baby rescued from the Nile, Moses [Drawn-Forth]: and she said, Because I drew him out of the water.  And so we can go on and on to show the deep significance of Hebrew names.

Now then, when the angel spoke to Joseph, husband of Mary, the mother of our Lord, this is what he really said and what Joseph actually understood:  And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus [YESHUA (SALVATION)]: for he shall save [or salvage] his people from their sins. (Matthew 1:21).  This text was so forcibly brought home to my soul soon after I was converted over 24 years ago, that I saw the whole plan of the Old Testament in that one ineffable and blessed NAME.

So let us proceed to show clearly the Hebrew name YESHUA - (Greek = Iesus  English = Jesus) in the Old Testament.

When the great Patriarch Jacob was ready to depart from this world, he by the Holy Spirit was blessing his sons and prophetically foretelling their future experiences in those blessings.  In verse 18 of Genesis 49 he exclaims, I have waited for thy salvation, 0 Lord!   What he really did say and mean was, "To thy YESHUA (Jesus) I am looking, 0 Lord"; or, "In thy YESHUA (Jesus) I am hoping (trusting), Lord!"  That makes much better sense.

Of course YESHUA (Jesus) was the One in Whom Jacob was trusting to carry him safely over the chilly waters of the river of death. Jacob was a saved man, and did not wait until his dying moments to start trusting in the Lord. He just reminded God that he was at the same time comforting his own soul.

In Psalms 9:14, David bursts forth, I will rejoice in thy salvation. - What he actually did say and mean was, "I will rejoice in (with) thy YESHUA (Jesus)."

In Psalm 91:14-16 God says, Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high [raise him above circumstances], because he hath known my name.  He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.  With long life [eternal life] will I satisfy him, and show him my [YESHUA (Jesus)] salvation.  Of course. That promise is realized in Revelation 22:3, 4: And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it: and his servants shall serve him: And they shall see HIS face.

In Isaiah 12:2, 3 we have something wonderful.  Here SALVATION is mentioned three times.  The reader will be much blessed by reading these glorious verses in his Bible, but let me give them as they actually read in the original Hebrew with Jesus as the embodiment and personification of the word SALVATION: Behold, might (or, God the mighty One) is my YESHUA (Jesus-in His pre-incarnation and eternal existence); I will trust and not be afraid:, for JAH-JAHOVAH is my strength and my song; He also is become my YESHUA (Jesus).... And the WORD (Jesus incarnate) became flesh, and dwelt among us. (John 1: 14). ... Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of YESHUA [Jesus - waters of salvation flowing forth from Golgotha]."

Something very interesting occurred one spring in St. Louis: I was visiting in the home of our friends, Brother and Mrs. Charles Siegelman, and another Jew was present there. He claimed Jewish orthodoxy for his creed.  Of course the conversation centered around Him Who is the Center of all things -- Jesus.  This good Jewish brother opposed the claims of Yeshua in the Old Testament verbally, and in a friendly fashion, most violently.  His best offensive weapon, he  thought, was to fling at me and at all of us there the well-known challenge: "You can't find the name of 'Jesus' in the Old Testament;" and this he did.

I did not answer him directly, but asked him to translate for us from my Hebrew Bible, Isaiah 62:11. Being a Hebrew scholar, he did so with utmost ease, rapidly, and correctly; and here is what and how he translated that text verbatim: Behold, Jehovah has proclaimed unto the end of the world. Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold thy YESHUA[ Jesus] cometh; behold, His reward is with Him, and His work before Him.  Just then he crimsoned as he realized what he had done and how he had played into my hands, and he just fairly screamed out, "No!  no! You made me read it 'thy YESHUA' Jesus], Mr. Glass!  You tricked me!" I said, "No, I did not trick you, I just had you read the Word of God for yourself.  Can't you see that here SALVATION is a Person and not a thing or an event?  HE Comes, 'HIS reward is with HIM, and His work before him.'  Then he rushed at his own Old Testament, talking away frantically saying, "I'm sure mine is different from yours." And when he found the passage, he just dropped like a deflated balloon.  His Old Testament was, of course, identical. All he could use as an escape from admitting defeat was to deny the divine inspiration of the book of Isaiah.

Then skipping on to Habakkuk, we have the greatest demonstration of the NAME "Jesus" in the Old Testament; for here we have both the name as well as the title of the Savior.  In Habakkuk 3:13 we read literally from the original Hebrew: Thou wentest forth with the YESHA [variant of  ESHUA-Jesus] of [or for] thy people; with YESHUA thy MESSIAH [thine Anointed One: i.e., with Jesus thy Anointed] thou woundest the head of the house of the wicked one [Satan].  Here you have it!  The very NAME given to our Lord in the New Testament - JESUS CHRIST!  So don't let anyone - Jew or Gentile - tell you that the Name JESUS is not found in the Old Testament.  And so when the aged Simeon came to the Temple, led there by the Holy Spirit, and took the baby Yeshua in his arms, he said, Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word: For mine eyes have seen thy salvation [YESHUA (Jesus)] (Luke 2:29-30). Certainly!  Not only did his eyes see God's Salvation - God's YESHUA (Jesus) - but he felt Him and touched Him.  His believing heart beat with joy and assurance as he felt the loving heart of God throbbing in the heart of the holy infant YESHUA.

And thou shalt call his name Jesus (SALVATION = YESHUA); - for he shall save [salvage] his people from their sins!

NATION'S MORALS PLUNGED AFTER 50 GODLESS YEARS

Son of atheist Madalyn Murray O'Hair says America unsafe for children

Published: 18 June 2013

BOB UNRUH

America's moral standards have plunged so far that the nation no longer is safe for children, according to a high-profile Christian leader.

"Fifty years after the removal of prayer from America's public schools in a case brought by my mother, Madalyn Murray O'Hair, there is virtually no safe place in America for children of any age, not in their schools, not even in their homes," said William J. Murray, chairman of the Religious Freedom Coalition.

It was on his behalf that his mother filed a lawsuit claiming compulsory prayer and Bible reading in public schools is unconstitutional.

The ruling, released by the U.S. Supreme Court June 17, 1963, allowed God no further place in public schooling, triggering a plunge from a time when chewing gum was a major problem to schools plagued by drugs, violence and sex that need to be protected by armed guards.

Murray tells the story in his book, "My Life Without God."

"Prayer in the schools 50 years ago had little to do with morality and a lot to do with authority," he said. "The speaker of the House of Representatives, the second most powerful man in America, has the words 'In God We Trust' engraved over his chair in the House Chamber."

Murray said "In God We Trust" is "more than the national motto; it was meant to be the real source of authority for our government."

"If rights come from God they cannot be taken away, but if they come from government, a simple majority vote can void those rights," he explained. "Fifty years ago, prayer and Bible reading represented the authority of God over the school, the teachers and the students. Bowing of heads in the morning for prayer was much more about surrendering to the authority of God than about learning 'morals.'"

He said that as his mother fought to remove prayer from the public schools, he was attending an all boys school in downtown Baltimore, Md.

"The school was a magnet school before the term even existed and was intended to prepare young men for colleges, majoring in science and engineering. There were 1,800 young men in the school and there was not a cop in the building, ever. The doors were unlocked and often the un-air-conditioned rooms had open windows. There were no metal detectors, and students went in and out the doors on the honor system," he said.

He told WND that it is time to stop pretending the 1960s were something they were not.

They had the "make love not war" drug culture of Timothy Leary and boastful homosexual elected officials in San Francisco, he said.

Along came the Murray v. Curlett case, which was decided by the U.S. Supreme Court on June 17, 1963, 50 years ago.

He pointed to two other cases against Bible reading in school and the landmark abortion case,  Roe v. Wade.

"The logic in those cases continues today - the Living Constitution logic - this logic reduces our republic to the status of democracy, which is in fact mob rule," he said.

On the issue of safety in America, Murray leaves no doubt.

"Just days before the 50th anniversary of the June 17, 1963, Supreme Court decision to remove prayer from America's public schools, I found myself on a train in China watching very young children run up and down the aisle, their parents not concerned for their safety. The train is a safe environment," he wrote in a column for WND.

But not in America.

"America today is a society in which one of every 10 adult men is either in prison, on parole or under some sort of judicial oversight. Children don't walk to school; it is not safe. Public libraries display the same pornography that landed Larry Flint in jail."

Murray noted that gambling, "once outlawed in all but one of our states, is now a chief source of revenue for most states.:

"Lotteries, the most abusive and dishonest form of gambling, is state operated and steals money disproportionately from the poor," he said.

"Loving Christian couples often cannot adopt children in the current culture because they are declared bigots for not accepting anal sex as normal," he said. "Homosexuals, the most violent of the abusers of children in our society, are treated as a protected class. State welfare offices pay women not to marry the fathers of their children and the elderly receive funds to disengage from their children and grandchildren and move to warmer climates.

"Is today's culture, the move from the days of 'The [Andy] Griffith Show' and 'I Love Lucy,' the result of Murray vs. Curlett and the removal of prayer from our schools? As a result of the case being named after me, and then my conversion from Marxist-atheism to Christianity, I truly believed this for decades," he said.

Immortality by 2035?

14 Jun 2013

How's this for a weekend conference: Some of the smartest people in the world are gathering in New York to try to figure out how to build lifelike copies of humans ... to be eventually uploaded with the contents of a real human brain.

It's the brainchild of a Russian multimillionaire, Dmitry Itskov. ... And he says he's perfectly serious, and that it could be accomplished by 2035.

Crazy? The New York Times gave Itskov a front-page profile on its Sunday Business page a week and a half ago.

Imagine this ... a digital copy of your brain in a different life form that could live for hundreds of years and be replaced.

There are several stages to his proposal, including an early stage (Avatar A) where lifelike avatars (androids) are created, but without an actual brain in them. Instead you would be able to mentally "occupy" the avatar and would have the same sensations.

If you have ever seen the movie "Surrogates" with Bruce Willis, a 2009 film, this is the first stage. In that movie, Willis remotely moves around an android that is an optimized version of himself. He is in a darkened room and has a live telepresence of that avatar, including all senses.

Dmitry says that we could have the first phase--that will enable people to operate a nonbiological body--in the next seven years. And he believes that the concept can be proved to be viable in the next three years. He is talking about an artificial body with sensations--the sensation that you would be walking in the body.

The next phase (Avatar B) is brain transplantation. Instead of your dying, neurosurgeons isolate the brain and some of the spinal chord, put it in a life support system, and that is inserted into the android developed in Avatar A. The timetable: 2020-25.

In the next phase (Avatar C), you make the brain non-biological by uploading it into a computer. The timetable: 2030-35.

Sounds crazy? One of the speakers, Theodore Berger, will show how he has already replaced the hippocampus of a rat with a computer chip. The hippocampus is the part most heavily associated with memory -- Berger has shown that rats implanted with these computer chips can have a memory without the original biological part.

The final phase (Avatar D) is replacement of the physical body with a nonphysical, hologram-like body. You are essentially living inside a computer, but you can physically manifest yourself as a hologram. Think Princess Leia in "Star Wars." The goal: 2045.

Work has already started in Avatars A, B and C. These are parallel threads of scientific research, Itskov said.

Heady stuff indeed, but some impressive scientists from Harvard, MIT and Berkeley are attending the Global Future 2045 World Conference in New York City this weekend, a showpiece for Itskov and ideas around the concept of life extension.

Many investors are attending, including, according to the sponsors, Allen & Co., Citigroup, Barclays, and several VCs and hedge funds. Credit Suisse, which has a heavy investment in a Swiss robotics lab along with the Swiss government, will also be there.

Why the interest from business? The intersection of humans and machines involves many fields with huge investment potential: robotics, defense, computers, anti-aging, genetics, prosthetics.

Uploading a human brain may be a couple of decades away, if ever, but along the way a lot of new, highly profitable technologies may be developed. Itskov will be unveiling a series of products that are immediately investable to the investors present.

IBM, for example, scored a huge PR hit when its Watson computer defeated the reigning "Jeopardy" champion. Watson is essentially a state-of-the-art artificial intelligence; it is now being tested for use as an advisor to doctors for medical diagnoses. The potential market: every doctor in the world.

Itskov acknowledges the importance of developing artificial intelligence, but his main interest is in allowing humans to develop their full potential--and that includes the options to occupy a new life form.

"The avatar is a transition for human beings ... a transition which will allow us to stop aging ... get rid of diseases ... and finally to be almost immortal," he said.

To show how far these technologies have come, Itskov plans to unveil a robotic model of his own head that will move and talk in tandem with his movements, built by Hanson Robotics.

IN JEOPARDY: FUTURE OF WHITE SOUTH AFRICANS

Genocide Watch expert warns population on verge of extermination

Published: 15 June 2013

by ALEX NEWMAN

STOCKHOLM, Sweden - As former South Africa President Nelson Mandela remains hospitalized and reportedly in serious condition, questions about the future of increasingly marginalized European-descent South Africans are edging into international headlines.

Recent developments on multiple fronts are striking fear into the hearts of many Afrikaners, descendants of primarily northern Europeans who began arriving in South Africa three to four centuries ago.

From legally mandated race-based economic discrimination against whites to the thousands of farm murders targeting Boers across the nation, the problems are only getting worse. Poverty and unrest are spreading quickly as well.

Genocide

The world's most prominent expert on genocide, President Dr. Gregory Stanton of Genocide Watch, already warned last year that the Afrikaner population could be on the verge of a government-linked extermination campaign.

During a fact-finding mission to South Africa, Stanton, who helped fight against apartheid, found evidence implicating the ruling African National Congress (ANC)-South African Communist Party (SACP) government in a plot to eradicate whites as part of a scheme to foist Marxist tyranny on the nation.

In fact, after the investigation, WND reported that Genocide Watch raised its alert level on South Africa to stage 6 out of 8 - the planning and preparation phase of the extermination process.

"There is thus strong circumstantial evidence of government support for the campaign of forced displacement and atrocities against white farmers and their families," Stanton said in the Genocide Watch report, adding that the end goal was communist tyranny. "There is direct evidence of [South African] government incitement to genocide."

As WND also reported, South African President Jacob Zuma routinely sings racist songs calling for the murder of whites.

Former ANC Youth Leader Julius Malema, a virulently racist self-styled communist with a significant following, is now forming a new political party to "fight white males," South African media reported this week.

Malema's alliance will also seek to expropriate white-owned property without compensation, nationalize key industries and force whites to "behave in a manner that says they regret their conduct."

Economic discrimination

Meanwhile, on the economic front, authorities are cracking down on the white minority as well.

Through a controversial program known as Black Economic Empowerment (BEE), the government has instituted a race-based employment regime specifically targeting whites.

Critics, even among prominent blacks, say the results of BEE have been disastrous.

Among the myriad problems associated with the race-based employment system: mass emigration of skilled workers contributing to "brain drain," soaring poverty rates among whites, chaos for businesses and more.

Hundreds of thousands of economically excluded Afrikaners now live in squalid squatter camps throughout South Africa without so much as running water or electricity.

Hundreds of thousands more have fled to Western nations seeking a better life.

"The advent of black rule has been devastating for whole groups of whites, even highly educated ones," Dan Roodt of the Pro-Afrikaans Action Group, PRAAG, told WND.

Among those groups, he said, are European-descent South Africans from virtually every economic field - especially people with cultural skills, bank workers, and government employees.

"Some of these people have definitely ended up on skid row," Roodt added, pointing to the racist affirmative action policies as the cause.

"I definitely blame the system of reverse discrimination or anti-white racism for white poverty," the author and prominent activist continued.

"Almost all whites are educated, literate and generally hard-working, so they should not be poor," he said. "The system makes them poor by denying them opportunities and expecting whites to be superhuman and to make money out of thin air."

Roodt explained that once people are excluded from the economic life of a country, they "spiral downwards and lose everything," making it increasingly difficult to re-enter society in the future.

"It makes me both sad and very angry to witness these scenes of whites living in third-world squalor while we have all the skills to employ them, but the system prevents us from doing so," he added.

The corruption is out of control, too, Roodt explained, saying it was contributing to the growing economic problems facing the nation.

"South Africa's ANC government is so corrupt that it is sometimes hard to distinguish between the ruling party and organized crime," he said.

Media attention

Since the fall of apartheid in 1994 - when the Western establishment and Soviet powers finally succeeded in forcing the anti-communist, white-dominated government to relinquish power - the international press, which played a key role in the process, has been largely silent.

After almost two decades of ignoring the issues, however, the world media is starting to take notice - albeit slowly.

The British state-funded BBC, for example, featured a recent article headlined "Do white people have a future in South Africa?"

"The answer, as with so many similar existential questions, is 'Yes - but...'," reported BBC News World Affairs Editor John Simpson after exploring the problems.

While acknowledging that whites still own much of the nation's wealth, Simpson concluded that only certain segments of the European minority have a genuine future in South Africa.

"Working-class white people, most of them Afrikaans-speakers, are going through an intense crisis," the BBC noted.

"Those who fit in and succeed will certainly have a future," the report stated. "As for the rest, there are no guarantees whatsoever."

ANC reaction

A spokesman for the ANC could not be reached for comment by WND despite repeated attempts.

However, even though many experts said the BBC article barely scratched the surface, the reaction from the ruling ANC was to demonize the reporter and his employer, saying the BBC was suffering from an "apartheid hangover."

"South Africa has never been in a situation where whites have been singled out and persecuted," ANC spokesperson Keith Khoza was quoted as saying in South African media reports.

He also pointed out that crime and poverty affect all South Africans, which is true, though few dispute the fact that white farmers have been victimized in numbers all out of proportion even when compared with the rest of South Africa's crime-ridden society.

"The BBC is living in their own world with their racist tendencies where they wish to undermine the government of South Africa because it is largely a black government," the spokesman claimed.

"This isn't just an attack on the government of South Africa and the ANC, it's an attack on South Africa as a whole," he concluded.

Farm murders

In a development that was considered surprising by analysts and South African exiles who spoke with WND, the BBC also touched on the ongoing farm murders that have claimed as many as 10 percent of the nation's European-descent farmers.

"Virtually every week the press here report the murders of white farmers, though you will not hear much about it in the media outside South Africa," the report said. "In South Africa you are twice as likely to be murdered if you are a white farmer than if you are a police officer - and the police here have a particularly dangerous life. The killings of farmers are often particularly brutal."

As WND also reported last year, authorities have done little about the problem other than try to conceal it from the world.

"The government has so far been unwilling to make solving and preventing these murders a priority," the BBC report continued.

Indeed, even keeping an accurate count has been made all-but impossible by the ANC-SACP government, which regularly downplays the vicious farm murders and even stopped tracking useful statistics that would reveal the true scope of the problem.

Many of the victims, often children and babies, are brutally tortured before being killed.

The horrors have included drowning infants in boiling water, raping children, disemboweling whole families, dragging victims for miles behind a vehicle and other unimaginable atrocities.

Experts say the goal is to terrorize and eventually eliminate white farmers, with Genocide Watch's Stanton and numerous other convinced that the ultimate aim is to establish communist tyranny.

With a population of around 5 million, whites today make up less than 10 percent of the population, down from above 20 percent a century ago.

Since the fall of apartheid in 1994, an estimated half-a-million have emigrated. Countless more would go if they could.

Land redistribution

In a separate BBC report, the state-funded news organization also documented the results of the South African government's highly controversial land-redistribution policies.

The government admitted that 90 percent of farms it had "redistributed" from whites who farmed the land for generations to blacks with little knowledge of farming - almost 25,000 square miles of land so far - are now "failing."

"The farms - which were active accruing revenue for the state - were handed over to people, and more than 90 percent of those are not functional," Land Reform Minister Gugile Nkwinti conceded.

"They are not productive, and therefore the state loses the revenue," Nkwinti continued. "We cannot afford to go on like that... No country can afford that."

While the government plan was to redistribute a full third of white-owned land to blacks by 2014, there are now discussions about potentially trying to return some of the farms to their former owners in a bid to keep the tax revenues flowing.

In neighboring Zimbabwe, formerly known as Rhodesia, Marxist dictator and ANC ally Robert Mugabe violently expelled much of the population of white farmers. The land was then largely "redistributed" to cronies who knew nothing about farming.

Before that, the country was known as the "breadbasket" of Africa thanks to its massive agricultural export industry.

Today, Zimbabweans are starving as the nation increasingly depends on international food aid for survival.

Future in South Africa

Analysts on all sides of the issue seem to agree on at least one point: The eventual death of Mandela, 94, could make long-simmering problems explode to the forefront once again, potentially with deadly consequences.

The general public perception of Mandela, which tends to ignore or minimize his well-documented past involvement in terrorism and the international communist movement, considers the former president and ANC leader as something of a hero for his key role in the Western- and Soviet-backed takedown of apartheid.

When he dies, more than a few analysts say full-blown chaos could be unleashed in South Africa. One source with knowledge of the matter told WND that martial law may even be declared.

If the plight of significant segments of the Afrikaner population is bad now, however, the death of Mandela could mark a turning point toward total disaster - at least if current trends continue and the world remains silent.

What to do, though, remains unclear.

Afrikaners within South Africa and others exiled around the world have widely divergent views as to what route would be best for the European-descent minority.

Options

A few exiles, citizens and experts who spoke with WND suggested that there was no longer a viable future for Afrikaners in South Africa.

Along with advocates like Stanton of Genocide Watch, they say it is time for the United States and Europe to start urgently accepting vulnerable whites as refugees.

Others say a war for self-defense might be the only real option if the situation gets out of control - a conflict that would undoubtedly have disastrous consequences for all South Africans, but especially the white minority.

Plenty of South Africans, especially in cities like Cape Town, still do not see what analysts say are storm clouds building on the horizon. Most would simply like to live in peace.

Incompatible cultures

For an increasingly significant segment of the population, it is becoming clearer that today's South Africa is simply not sustainable in the long term.

"South Africa is a colonial construct, currently an incompatible, unsustainable mix," International Afrikaner Society President Hannes Louw told WND.

The major fault-line in what is dubbed the "Rainbow nation," Louw said, is between Afrikaners - descendants of Europeans, Khoi Africans as well as former slaves from Africa, Indonesia, and India - and Bantu, descendants of migrant groups from central and eastern Africa.

"The time has come to face the facts: oil and water does not mix," he continued.

"The same principles that applied to other countries, like North and South Sudan, also applies to South Africa - the country needs to be divided in two countries, a Western South Africa where Afrikaners are the majority and an Eastern South Africa where Bantus are the majority," Louw said.

"Despite the current regime's efforts to culturally colonize Western South Africa, with racist Black Economic Empowerment and busing in homeless Xhosa, Afrikaners are still the majority in in this region and that's the saving grace," he continued.

"The time has come for Afrikaners living in Western South Africa to democratically take back their inheritance, the land that was paid for with the lives of our ancestors, fertilized with their blood and watered with their tears," Louw added. "But as Christians, let us not forget to do so responsibly in line with Biblical principles, international law and the South African constitution."

Afrikaner homeland

PRAAG leader Roodt, meanwhile, says the European minority in South Africa must achieve self-determination and self-governance if the Afrikaner people and culture are going to survive and thrive.

"The sooner whites realize that the only way out is an ethnic state or Israel of their own, the better," he told WND. "I can only see the system deteriorating progressively, with anti-white discrimination becoming so pervasive and pernicious that no one will be able to survive."

Experts say the idea of an independent homeland for Afrikaners is a non-starter with the South African ANC-SACP government, Western powers, and the United Nations.

Still, among certain segments of the white minority in South Africa, the idea is alluring and will likely become increasingly appealing going forward.

Survival

Henri Le Riche, a patriotic Afrikaner activist in exile in Australia who runs a website focused on many of issues affecting South Africa, told WND that there could still be a bright future for his people in their homeland.

"The Afrikaner is a small minority, and unlike the U.S. don't have numbers in the population which will help in long term survival," he explained.

That does not mean, though, that anyone should lose hope. There is potential, Le Riche continued.

"Whites do have a future in South Africa, but only if they embrace their own culture and stop feeling shame or embarrassed," he said. "This, of course, is not easy in the current atmosphere, as morale is at its lowest due to affirmative action favoring black people, and discriminating against skilled white people."

Revival and the West

However, Le Riche sees the problem as something that goes beyond his own nation and really affects the West more broadly - particularly Americans, who he says have a lot in common with the Afrikaner.

There are two primary forces holding Western culture together, Le Riche said: family and religion.

"This is the focus point of Marxism in to break down these two pillars of our society, with the final goal to break down Western culture," he explained. "We can see the effects of this Marxist strategy all over the world with moral decay in society and the breakup of families."

Quoting an American, Le Riche said that the West may have defeated Communism during the Cold War, but Marxism is still winning. Communism, he added, is the structured form of Marxism - government.

Afrikaners and Americans

Le Riche offered two suggested ways for Afrikaners as a people to survive, which he believes apply to patriotic Americans as well.

For one, "do not feel guilty or shy about who or what you are," he said.

"As humans we have good and bad points, and that goes for every nation on this earth's history. Marxism focus on breaking down identity by form of making you feel ashamed of who you are, and your history."

Secondly, Le Riche added, Afrikaners should reach out to Americans, and vice versa.

"As Afrikaners and Americans we have a very similar history spanning over a period of nearly 400 years on two different continents," he said. "The nearest you will get to an American is an Afrikaner. No other nation comes as close."

"Sadly, many Americans don't even know the Afrikaner," Le Riche continued. "Americans need to help Afrikaners selling themselves, selling their identity. Fight the goal of Marxism."

He says Americans should look beyond "Fortress America" and build new friendships and re-connect with old allies like the Afrikaners.

"When it comes to our way of life and survival of our values in the long run, we need friends, many friends, and friendships, like relationships, need work," the exiled activist and commentator said. "Let's start building those relationships."

"Our biggest enemy is complacency," Le Riche concluded.

One killed, one million on the streets: Brazil World Cup protests defy tear gas, pepper spray and rubber bullets

ADAM WITHNALL

FRIDAY 21 JUNE 2013

An emergency meeting has been called by Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff after more than one million protesters took to the streets across 80 cities, complaining about corruption, poor public services and the cost of hosting the 2014 World Cup.

Police reacted violently with rubber bullets, tear gas and pepper spray, as rioting and looting flared up across the country. One protester was killed when a car rammed a crowd of people barricading a street in Sao Paulo state.

On a night that saw the largest demonstrations since a protest of 5,000 people against bus fare rises was brutally quashed last week, around 300,000 gathered in Rio de Janeiro alone. Young men using T-shirts to cover their faces engaged in running battles against riot police, with peaceful protesters caught in the middle.

Calling off a trip to Japan, President Rousseff has arranged to see her top Cabinet members today to discuss a course of action. She has until now avoided getting too heavily involved in the crisis, making a single statement to support peaceful protests as part of the democratic process.

Yet as the country hosts FIFA’s Confederations Cup, in preparation for next year’s World Cup, the public’s anger at wasted taxpayers’ money can no longer be ignored.

At least 40 people were injured in clashes in Rio, including a young woman who says she and a group of non-violent demonstrators were targeted by police as they sought shelter inside a bar.

Michele Menezes, 26, was injured by the blast of a tear gun canister, and said: “I was leaving a peaceful protest and it's not the thugs that attack me but the police themselves.”

In Brasilia, the national capital, police struggled to keep hundreds of protesters from invading the Foreign Ministry, while the crowd started a fire outside. Other government buildings were attacked around the city centre. There, too, police used tear gas and rubber bullets in attempts to scatter demonstrators.

Clashes were also reported in the Amazon jungle city of Belem, Porto Alegre in the south, the university town Campinas north of Sao Paulo and the northeastern city of Salvador.

People in the protests have held up signs asking for everything from education reforms to free bus fares, denouncing the billions spent on stadiums in advance of the World Cup and the Olympics.

And many believe the protests have become larger cries for systemic changes. “This is the start of a structural change in Brazil,” said Aline Campos, a 29-year-old publicist in Brasilia. “People now want to make sure their money is well spent, that it's not wasted through corruption.”

The series of demonstrations is estimated to be the largest seen in Brazil since the end of the 1964-85 military dictatorship.

FOX Reporters Fired For Reporting the Truth About Monsanto Milk

FOX NEWS Reporters (Steve Wilson & Jane Akre) uncover that most of the Milk in the USA and across some parts of the world is unsafe to drink due to Monsanto Corporation's POSILAC®, which has been proven to be a cancer-causing growth hormone.(known in short as "BGH" "BST" or "rBGH" ), but they were fired for attempting to inform people of the truth.

Monsanto Milk

- June 15, 2013

After a long court battle, the Court dismissed the whistle blowers protection for the reporters because the Court stated that there was no law to force that the NEWS must state the truth.

NEWS was/is no different than other TV shows/reality shows.) This type of deceitful corruption is not just FOX news but includes almost all Main Stream Media. Self researched, alternative news and information (from multiple sources) is one of the best methods to stay well informed. Never trust or follow MSM/mega corporations such as Monsanto. The corrupt FDA has once again turned it's back on the American public and has actually assisted in suppressing the dangers of this issue.

If you consumed or fed regular milk to your family today, there is more than a 90% chance that it was from a cow injected with BGH. (Bovine somatotropin developed by using recombinant DNA technology). You could be killing or harming your child every time you pour them a glass of milk, the same as pouring them a glass of slow acting poison. Please take action to ensure our children's safety, for they can not protect themselves. Remember too, that pus (exudate, infection discharge) is almost always present cow's milk... think about this fact the next time you feed your child this supposedly healthy product.

Living in a Van Was the Best Financial Decision I Ever Made

by The Motley Fool Jun 13th 2013

By Ken Ilungas, Special to The Motley Fool

On the first night I tried to sleep in my van, I was lying in my sleeping bag sprawled out on the backseat, parked in a mostly empty Walmart parking lot. I'd wake up every 15 minutes because I was nervous that the security guard driving past my van would knock on my door and make me leave.

My new home had 60 square feet and four wheels. While most people would consider living in a van an embarrassment, a low point, or even a "rock bottom," it would -- though I didn't realize it then -- turn out to be the greatest financial decision I'd ever made.

No one would end up waking me up in the Walmart lot, and, over the next two years, almost all of my other fears would prove to be entirely unfounded.

Debt-free; Dirt Poor

In January 2009, when I'd decided to move into the van, I was nearly broke. I had just $4,000 in the bank and no possessions other than a laptop, camera, cellphone and a suitcase full of clothes and a backpack full of camping gear.

I had next to nothing because I'd just finished paying off my $32,000 undergraduate school debt. Still, after two-and-a-half years of working, I wanted nothing more than to go back to school and get my master's degree in liberal studies at Duke University. But how could I afford tuition and not go back into debt?

My answer: a $1,500 '94 Ford Econoline.

I'd cook in it, sleep in it, study in it, and live in it. I'd do whatever it would take not to go into debt again.

A Nation of Potential Van Dwellers

I'm not the only student in America struggling with the high cost of education.

Currently, there are over 36 million debtors saddled with more than $1 trillion in student debt. In 2011, two-thirds of graduating students left with an average $26,600 in debt.

But the problem isn't always tuition. The enormous cost of room and board -- averaging $8,500 a year for students living on campus -- can set students back just as much. For freshmen at Duke University, which would be my graduate school, the cheapest dorm option is $5,464 an academic year. The cheapest meal plan is $5,540 an academic year, or $27 a day.

By living in a van, I figured, I could reduce (if not entirely do away with) many of the costs that are drowning students in seas of red ink. And if I picked an affordable graduate program, then, well, maybe I could leave school with a debt-free degree.

Amazingly, it worked. This is how I did it:

I flew into Raleigh, N.C., hopped on a bus, and bought the burgundy beauty I'd found listed on Craigslist for $1,500. I'd recognized that buying a van is a one-time payment while an apartment would cut into my savings every month. An inexpensive apartment in Durham, N.C. costs $500 a month. By living in a van I'd save $1,000 my first semester. In two years, I'd save $4,000. (The only expense I could consider "rent" was my campus parking permit, which came to $182 a year, a mere 3.7 percent the cost of a dorm room for a year.)

Vitamin C can kill every virus known to mankind

by: Jonathan Landsman - accines, fluoride and other quack science lies

Friday, June 14, 2013

(NaturalNews) If you suffer from fatigue, muscle weakness, achy joints and muscles, bleeding gums or leg rashes - you could be vitamin C deficient. Everything from the common cold to cancer can't resist the healing power of vitamin C. In fact, there is not a known virus that can survive in the presence of this essential antioxidant.

How does vitamin C help to kill unwanted viruses and prevent disease?

Vitamin C expert, Dr. Thomas Levy says, "vitamin C is referred to as an antioxidant that donates or gives up its electrons. On the other hand, a toxin, infection or anything that causes a medical symptom in the body is a result of oxidative stress or due to a lack of electrons." So, it's really quite simple, if our body lacks enough electrons - we will get sick.

This is the easiest way to understand why a healthy diet - rich in fruits and vegetables (loaded with vitamin C) - does help us to literally prevent disease. Eating enough vitamin C, antioxidant-rich foods make it virtually impossible for our body to experience cellular inflammation. And, remember, inflammation is an essential component to just about every chronic, degenerative disease - including cancer.

Vitamin C has been shown to help detoxify lead, kill cancer cells plus much more

According to the work of Linus Pauling and the Linus Pauling Institute, vitamin C therapy has been shown to prevent, even reverse serious health condition, like cancer. Generally speaking, the Linus Pauling Institute recommends that healthy men and women eat "at least five servings of fruits and vegetables daily" - which provides about 200 mg of vitamin C. Obviously, if you suffer from any chronic disease, greater amounts may be required and not just orally.

Research has shown that as little as 10 mg of vitamin C per day can eliminate the threat of scurvy. Naturally, diseases like cancer and heart disease require much larger quantities. But, the main point is that health problems like, cancer, coronary heart disease, diabetes, gout, high blood pressure and stroke can all be treated with vitamin C therapy.
