Of course, we think you can agree, that these are not normal times, of which more and more people are coming to realize. It also seems that things are not just not right but they are getting worse at a faster and faster pace.

Unfortunately, there will always be those who Jesus talked about in Matthew 24, when he said, “But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

DIVINE RIGHTS CANNOT BE ERASED BY MORTAL POWER

Duel between Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr

He intentionally fired into the air, but his political rival, Vice President Aaron Burr, took deadly aim and fatally shot him in a duel July 11, 1804.

Alexander Hamilton was born in the West Indies on the island of Nevis. As his parents were not legally married, he was not permitted to attend the Anglican academy, resulting in him being tutored at a private school by a Jewish headmistress.

Hamilton worked for merchants till, at the age of 17, he sailed to Massachusetts in 1772 to attend Elizabethtown Academy. He was studying at Columbia College in New York when the Revolutionary War started.

Alexander Hamilton fought in the Battle of White Plains and the Battle of Trenton. He served four years as aide-de-camp to General George Washington. Promoted to lieutenant colonel, Alexander Hamilton led a bayonet attack at night, capturing Redoubt No. 10 which helped the Continental army win the Battle of Yorktown.

During the Revolution, Alexander Hamilton wrote “The Farmer Refuted,” Feb. 23, 1775, stating: “The Supreme Being gave existence to man, together with the means of preserving and beautifying that existence … and invested him with an inviolable right to personal liberty and personal safety.”

Alexander Hamilton continued: “The sacred rights of mankind are not to be rummaged for among old parchments or musty records. They are written, as with a sunbeam, in the whole volume of human nature, by the Hand of the Divinity itself, and can never be erased or obscured by mortal power.”

Alexander Hamilton concluded: “Good and wise men, in all ages … have supposed that the Deity, from the relations we stand in to Himself, and to each other, has constituted an eternal and immutable law, which is indispensably obligatory upon all mankind. … This is what is called the law of nature … dictated by God himself.”

Alexander Hamilton helped write the U.S. Constitution, stating at the Constitutional Convention, June 22, 1787: “Take mankind as they are, and what are they governed by? Their passions. There may be in every government a few choice spirits, who may act from more worthy motives. One great error is that we suppose mankind is more honest that they are.”

After the Constitution was written, Alexander Hamilton helped convinced the states to ratify it by writing 51 of the 85 Federalist Papers.

Alexander Hamilton wrote of the Constitution: “I sincerely esteem it a system which without the finger of God, never could have been suggested and agreed upon by such a diversity of interests.”

Hamilton pushed Congress to have ships, called Revenue Cutters, to guard the coasts from piracy, collect revenue and confiscate contraband, thus beginning of the U.S. Coast Guard.

Opposed to slavery, Hamilton and John Jay founded the New York Manumission Society which successfully helped pass legislation to end New York’s involvement in the slave trade in 1799.

Alexander Hamilton was the first secretary of the U.S. Treasury – his statue is at the south entrance of the Treasury building in Washington, D.C. He served as senior officer of the United States Army during a threatened war with France in 1799.

During the 1800 election, Alexander Hamilton was instrumental in Thomas Jefferson being chosen as president instead of Aaron Burr. Before the 1804 election, Alexander Hamilton threatened to withdraw from the Federalist Party if it chose Vice President Aaron Burr as its presidential candidate.

Hamilton began organizing the Christian Constitutional Society. On April 16, 1802, Alexander Hamilton wrote to James Bayard: “Let an association be formed to be denominated ‘The Christian Constitutional Society,’ its object to be first: The support of Christian religion; second: The support of the United States.”

When Aaron Burr later ran for governor of New York, Alexander Hamilton’s influence led to his defeat. Aaron Burr took offense and challenged Hamilton to a duel, mortally wounding him.

Alexander Hamilton had previously warned: “Liberty is a gift of the beneficent Creator to the whole human race. … Civil liberty … cannot be wrested from any people, without the most manifest violation of justice.”

Bible Codes Hint to Arrival of Messiah after the Current Shemitta Year

There are two verses in chapter 12 of the Book of Daniel that use the same unusual phrase, “until the time of the end.” In a recent video, Rabbi Mattityahu Glazerson, prolific author and one of the world’s leading experts on Bible Codes, uses gematria (the system of assigning numerical values to Hebrew words) and Bible Codes to connect this phrase to the imminent coming of Messiah, son of David.

The two verses are:

And you, Daniel, close up the words and seal the book until the time of the end; many will run to and fro, and the knowledge will increase. - Daniel 12:4

And he said, “Go, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end. - Daniel 12:9

The expression “until the time of the end” in Hebrew is “ad eit ketz”. As Glazerson explains, the full numerical value of these three words is 1,400.

Galazerson further illustrates that the combined numerical values of the word ketz, which means end, plus the numerical value of Moshiach ben David (Messiah son of David), plus the new Hebrew year that begins at the end of the current Shemitta year also equals 1,400.

In essence, Glazerson is suggesting that “until the time of the end” is the same as the upcoming Hebrew year which begins at nightfall on Sunday, September 13, 2015, which is also associated with Messiah son of David. In other words, embedded in the mystical numerical system of gematria, the numerical meaning of “ad eit ketz” – until the time of the end – is a reference to the Hebrew year the begins after the current Shemitta year ends.

Half-way through the video, Glazerson turns his attention to a series of Bible Codes from the Book of Leviticus. In the table shown in the video, where the words “ad eit ketz” – until the time of the end – are found, he also finds the Hebrew letters that spell the name of the upcoming Hebrew year.

Finally, in the same piece of Bible text, Glazerson finds the Hebrew words that mean David, son of Jesse, a clear reference to Messiah son of David, and these words are connected to the Hebrew words for messiah and soul.

Although he found words from the Book of Daniel, Glazerson emphasized to Breaking Israel News that Bible Codes themselves only come from the first five books of the Bible. “The Torah [The Five Books of Moses] was the blueprint of the creation. So what the Codes show is what God put in the program of the world for 6000 years,” he explained to Breaking Israel News.

One way of understanding all these linked Bible Codes is that the soul of the Messiah is connected to David, son of Jesse. This is consistent with the Jewish teaching that the future Redeemer of the Jewish people will be a descendant of King David.

Glazerson ends the video by pointing out two complete verses that appear nearby which he says are conditions of Redemption. The verses are “You shall keep My commandments and perform them. I am the Lord” (Leviticus 22:31) and a general warning to do all the commandments that God instructed Moses.

How the Dominoes Will Fall After ISIS Takes Damascus

For more than four years, the Assad regime in Syria has resisted its people's cry to be freed from dictatorship.

During the last several weeks, the Assad regime has shown signs of vulnerability punctuated by a weakened relationship with Iran. Iranian advisers who had supported Assad for years are now consumed with supporting the Iraqi government in its war against ISIS and the Houthis in Yemen in their war against a Saudi-led coalition of Arab nations. Iran's economy has been damaged severely after a decade of international sanctions and Iran cannot support the Syrian regime financially forever. Hezbollah, the best trained force fighting for the regime, has lost about a thousand of its best fighters in Syria, the very fighters desperately needed to fight ISIS and al-Qaeda in Lebanon.

For these reasons, Syrian government forces have suffered a series of defeats over the last weeks. The Assad regime now controls no more than 35 percent of the country, leaving the rest to ISIS, the Kurds and the other rebel groups like al-Nusra front. Allepo, Syria's largest city is almost surrounded completely by the rebels. The Syrian Kurds have increased the territories they control in the north to include most of the border areas with Turkey. Assad is also the de facto mayor of Damascus and the coastal areas. If this trend continues, which is likely to happen, the Syrian regime will probably fall by the end of this year. The two competing forces to occupy Damascus are ISIS and al-Nusra front.

If either of these two terrorist organizations capture Damascus, the world will witness an unprecedented chain reaction. It would be the first time that al-Qaeda or ISIS controlled a national capital. “ISIS's strategic target is to control one of the historical capitals of the Islamic caliphates: Damascus, Baghdad or Samarra. These cities are very symbolic for its followers,” says Hisham al-Hashimi, an expert on ISIS and the author of the book, The World of ISIS.

A possible scenario for the aftermath of the fall of Damascus is the infighting between these two terror groups. If that happens or a new civil war breaks out, the region and the world would be spared an imminent and great danger. But if that infighting doesn’t take place, the world needs to prepare for continued genocides and years of terrorist acts across the continents. The Assads, who have ruled Syria since 1970, are Alawaites — a version of Shiite Islam and a faith that serves 12 percent of the Syrian people. With Russia's diplomatic aid and arms, Iran's economic and military advice, Lebanese Hezbollah and other Shiite Iraqi and Afghan fighters and the use of chemical weapons against its own people, the Assad regime has prevailed. Until now.

After the fall of the Assad regime, the Syrian people's different ethnic and sectarian components would cause the society to fray further. “Imagine that you wake up one day to find out that the ruling party in Damascus is no longer the Arab Baath Socialist Party; it is al-Nusra front.... Imagine you wake up to hear that another caliph has appeared somewhere else.... I say to those who complain about what is going on in our region: you haven't seen anything yet. Civil wars don't end suddenly, unless there is a victory that left many massacred,” says Harith Hasan, a fellow at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Studies at Harvard University who is researching ethnic violence and identity in the Middle East.

While Syria's Sunnis were the driving force of the Syrian rebels, the other 40 percent of the Syrian people supported the regime. They include Alawite, Christians, Druze, Kurds and others. There is no doubt that the Alawites will suffer the revenge of those whom they suppressed for a half century. “There is a very large revenge between the Sunnis and the Alawite after what the Alawite have done to the Sunnis, which includes killing, torture, displacement and raping of women....We think that Alawite is a sect that has left the religion of Allah and Islam,” said Abu Mohammed al-Julani, the leader of al-Nusra front in a rare TV interview. He added that Christians are supporting the regime.

Julani's remarks were supported by the massacre of at least 30 Druze by his fighters in Idlib last month. In Qalb Lawza, one of the Druze villages in Idlib, the al-Nusra Front earlier this year forced inhabitants to renounce their faith and accept Sunni Islam. Al-Nusra destroyed Druze shrines and made residents abide by their regulations, such as gender segregation. “These impositions have not been cancelled and remain in force to this day,” says Aymenn Jawad Al-Tamimi, a Shillman-Ginsburg Fellow at the Middle East Forum.

The very likely persecution of Syria's minorities under an extreme Sunni Islamic rule enforced by ISIS or al-Nusra front will result in millions of refugees and thousands of people killed, tortured and enslaved. With more than 60 million refugees already displaced by wars, millions more could cause the world relief system to collapse.

How the Dominoes May Fall

Israel: The fate of the Druze has been a main source of debate in Israel. Should Israel depart from its neutral stand regarding the Syrian civil war? Many Druze serving in the Israeli army are pushing for Israeli intervention in Syria to protect the Druze there. But Israel would have to deal for the first time in its history with a neighboring country in an official state of war to confront either al-Qaeda or ISIS or both. If those two groups do not fight each other, it is likely they would fight Israel to take back the Golan Heights that Israel occupied in the 1967 war with the Arabs.

Lebanon: The country most affected by the fall of the Assad regime would be Lebanon. Hezbollah, the militant Shiite group supported by Iran, has controlled the country since the withdrawal of the Syrian army in 2005. Lebanon's Sunnis, Christians and Druze have resisted Hezbollah domination ever since.

But none of these groups was ever a serious challenger to the well-trained and armed Shiite group. Should the regime in Syria be toppled by ISIS and al-Nusra, Lebanon may face civil war similar to the conflicts in1975 and 1989. “The removal of the Assad regime

means the automatic removal of Hezbollah.... Hezbollah realizes that its battle with us [the Syrian rebels] is lost. But it is obligated to fight in this battle to the end to extend the reign of the regime that is supporting it,” added al-Julani.

Iraq: The other country that will suffer the consequences of the fall of the Assad regime is Iraq. With a Sunni-ruled Syria, ISIS and the other Sunni militant groups in Iraq will be encouraged and supported by Syria, which would prolong the civil war in Iraq.

Turkey and Jordan: Turkey will be tempted to interfere in Syria as well. The fall of the Assad regime would make the partial autonomy that the Syrian Kurds now enjoy more feasible. The Turkish leadership has never been happy with the gains of the Iraqi and the Syrian Kurds because it feared that these gains would make its own Kurds bolder in their demands for self-rule. Because of this, Turkey has viewed ISIS as the lesser of two evils. It has considered establishing a security zone on the border with Syria to support the Syrian rebels and to curb Kurdish ambitions of independence.

Until now, Turkey's blind eye toward al-Qaeda and ISIS has kept the terror groups from mobilizing the grassroots in Turkey. Yet, a change in official policy would likely mean that the groups would target Turkey as a new recruiting field. The same would likely apply in Jordan.

Global Terrorism: The most alarming reaction to the fall of Damascus to ISIS would be a shockwave of multiple terrorist plots all over the world. Last month, we passed the one-year anniversary of the capture of Mosul, Iraq's second largest city. In that time, ISIS has dominated its mother organization, al-Qaeda, and secured the allegiance of more than 60 worldwide terror organizations.

This organizational change has transformed the local Syrian militia into a terrorist network with a record of attacks in Texas, Paris, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Nigeria, Niger, Chad, Cameron, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Kuwait and Afghanistan. ISIS is engaged in ground wars with the governments of Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Libya, Nigeria, Cameron, Niger and Chad and is subjected to air raids by a U.S.-led coalition that includes 60 nations. Despite this, ISIS achieved another strategic victory when it captured the city of Ramadi, the capital of Iraq's largest province last May.

This record of attacks and plots will become a minor issue if and when ISIS captures Damascus. ISIS operatives and plots will multiply. If ISIS counts tens of thousands of members now, it soon would reach hundreds of thousands. Instead of uploading one propaganda video daily and tweets that reach tens of thousands of Twitter followers, it could increase its reach tenfold.

The Myth That’s Compelling ISIS


Like several other religions, many Muslims believe in an end of time scenario that involves the emergence of a redeemer called al-Mahdi who will rule the world for seven to 19 years and fill it with justice after it was filled with injustice. Al-Mahdi — Arabic for “the guided one” — was never mentioned in the Quran, but some claim that the prophet Mohammed prophesied about him. While many Sunnis — who make up to 85 percent of Muslims — believe that al-Mahdi hasn't been born yet, most Shiites believe that al-Mahdi is the 12th Imam and the descendent of the prophet Mohammed who disappeared in Iraq in 874 A.D.

It is believed that his emergence, or re-emergence, will be the final chapter before the end of time and judgment day. With some oversimplification, the story suggests that al-Mahdi will lead the camp of the righteous against the camp of evil. Jesus — whose soul Muslims believe was saved by God before the crucifixion — will descend from the sky to Damascus and declare his allegiance to al-Mahdi.

Against the army led by al-Mahdi and Jesus, the camp of evil will have two leaders. A tyrant appears in Damascus called al-Sufyani and an equivalent of the Christian Antichrist called “the one-eyed deceiver” appears in the border area between Afghanistan, Iran and Turkmenistan. Al-Mahdi will appear in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. A war will start that involves the capture of Istanbul and a final battle in a place called Dabiq in northern Syria. ISIS and al-Qaeda believe fully in this final battle. ISIS has chosen the name Dabiq for its online magazine. Al-Mahdi soldiers will be tall, with long black hair and beards, dressed in black and carry the prophet’s black banner, the rationale for ISIS's and al-Qaeda’s choice of these figures in their propaganda videos.

“After the battle of Damascus, I expect that the rhetoric of the caliphate state addressed to the Sunnis of the world will shift from the sectarian provocation to the al-Mahdism narrative...this shift will capture a large part of the attention and the imagination of a Middle East that is so easy to persuade with conspiracy theories and fantasies.... Both the Sunni and Shiite common audiences are prepared to receive these Mahdisim calls...accordingly, we will witness a surge of madness that may last for a period of time and may inflame a great war. These are desperate nations awaiting the magical salvation. They sit on excessive arms and munition and they stand on important international power and transportation lines. Someone will come and tell them -- hurry up and make a stand. The end of time has approached,” says Nibras al-Kadhimi, the fellow at Hudson Institute who is researching the Mahdi phenomenon.

No Fairy Tale: Will Giants Return to Usher in the Messianic Era?

“The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown.” (Genesis 6:1-4)

Giants are generally thought to be found in fairy tales and fables, but surprisingly, they also play an important role in the Bible. While everyone knows the story of David and Goliath, giants have a significant role much earlier in the timeline of the world and may even play a role in the Messianic process.

Characters referred to as Nephilim, literally “the fallen”, are described in the sixth chapter of Genesis, before the flood. In the pre-flood era of Noah, the Bible says that the “Sons of Elohim” cohabited with the daughters of men, and God immediately decided to limit man’s lifespan to one-hundred and twenty years. The offspring of these unions were called Nephillim.

Elohim is one of the names of God used in the Torah, usually referring to His aspect expressed through nature and judgment. This would make the term, the “Sons of God”, a theologically problematic term for most everyone. Elohim is also used to mean a human judge as well, and some sources understand that to be its meaning here.

The Rashbi, Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, is a sage from the 2nd century during the Roman persecution who appears extensively in the Talmud and is the originator of the Zohar, the foundational work in the literature of Jewish mystical thought known as Kabbalah. He warns against understanding the use of Bnei Elohim in this verse to mean “the Sons of God”, and most sources explain it to mean angels.

Classical interpretation of the Bible relies heavily on the Midrash, a tradition of stories and fables that help explain the basic text. A remarkable Midrash appears in several sources explaining the appearance of the Nephilim, the fallen ones, as being a product of angels.

The Midrash relates how, before the flood, mankind was sinning greatly and God began to regret creating man. Three angels – Shamchazai, Uza, and Uzziel – came to God and said they could replace the sinning men, repopulating the world with perfect angels. God warns them that they will sin even more, however they persist in their claim. God relents, and when the angels descend into the world and see the daughters of men, they sin, and their descendants are the Nephilim, described as giants, that are mentioned again later in the Bible.
There are several important points in this story. Prominent Rabbinic sources describe the angels’ jealousy of man’s role in serving God, inevitably illustrating how man has the ability to transcend the angels by overcoming the difficulties and temptations unique to creatures of flesh and blood.

Another source in the Babylonian Talmud relates that Sihon and Og, two kings mentioned later in the Bible, were descendants of the angel, Shamchazzi. The Midrash states that Og was alive in the time of Noah but escaped the flood by clinging to the side of the Ark. In Genesis 14:13, a “fugitive” (Palit) comes to tell Abram about Lot’s capture. Og was named in Deuteronomy 3:11 as the only remaining man from the Rephaim, a biblical race of giants, and his bed was described as being enormous and made entirely of iron .

The Nephilim are mentioned again in Numbers 13:33. The 12 Spies were sent into the Land of Israel and reported, “There we saw the Nephilim, the sons of the Giant of the Nephilim, and we were in our eyes like grasshoppers, and so we were in their eyes.” Anak, translated as “enormous”, was the archetypal giant and father of the race of men that lived in Hebron.

The Midrashic sources explain that Anak was Og, one of the descendants of the Nephilim, and the fugitive from the flood. Another Midrash tells how Og attacked the Jews in the desert and Moses killed him.

There is a connection between the reappearance of these giants and the coming of the Messiah. In the Talmud, Sanhedrin 97a, there is a discussion between Rav Nachman and Rav Yitzchak.

Rav Yitzchak asks, “Do you know when Bar Naphli (the sons of the fallen) will come?” Rav Yitzchak asks, “Who are the Bar Naphli?” Rav Nachman answered, “It is Messiah”.

Rav Nachman brings down a verse from Amos 9:11, “On that day will I raise up the fallen tabernacle (Sukkah) of David and I will build it as in the days of old.” The Talmud goes on to describe the difficult times preceding the Messiah. This section of the Talmud also explains that the Messiah will come the year after a Sabbatical cycle is completed, as was explained in a Breaking Israel News article.

“Bar Naphli” in the Talmud clearly refers to specific people who both Rav Yitzchak and Rav Nachman have heard of, and who Rav Nachman connects with the coming of the Messiah. As noted previously, the Hebrew verb “Naphal” translates as “fall” but here, in the Talmud, the word is “Naphil’ in Aramaic. In the language of the Talmud, Naphli means “‘giant”.

By the discussion in the Talmud, it seems clear that these Bar Naphli, giants, will return in time to usher in the Messiah.

In partnership with an experienced Israeli cattle rancher, The Temple Institute has decided toraise a Red Heifer, in accordance with the Biblical commandment.

The Red Heifer was a cow brought to Temple priests as sacrifice, and its ashes were used for ritual purification of those who had come into contact with a corpse.

A prerequisite of the Third Temple, in order for a Red Heifer to be considered kosher for use, it must be raised from birth in Israel under specific conditions and in a controlled environment.

To raise awareness and funds for the first ever project of its kind, The Temple Institute has launched a crowd funding campaign entitled "Raise a Red Heifer in Israel" on Indiegogo.

During antiquity, Israelites waited for the birth of a potential Red Heifer, but with a combination of Torah knowledge and advanced science, The Temple Institute believes a Red Heifer can be bred in our modern times.

Under the guidance of Temple Institute rabbis, frozen embryos of Red Angus cattle will be implanted into domestic cattle in Israel, leading to the introduction of this breed into the Jewish state.

This method, authorized by Israel's Agriculture Ministry, has already proved successful with the birth of a number of male Red Angus.

“Three decades of research and preparation have led us to this special day," the Institute said in a statement. "During this period known as the 'Three Weeks,' as world Jewry mourns the destruction of the Second Holy Temple, The Temple Institute has taken a bold move towards the third."

"Having already prepared over 70 sacred vessels including the golden menorah and High Priest’s gemstone-encrusted breastplate, now is the time to fulfill the commandment of the Red Heifer. Make no mistake, this project is no less than the first stage of the reintroduction of Biblical purity into the world, a prerequisite for the building of the Third Temple.”

Two months from now the biblical Shemitah year will have played out and only then will we know whether it has left any significant event in its wake.

In the past, this seven-year cycle has brought collapsing stock markets, tumbling currencies and the shaking of nations and empires.

This period of early autumn was the most crucial time on the biblical calendar for the ancient Israelites, with the end of the seven-year cycle described in Deuteronomy as the Shemitah or Sabbath year. All farmland was to be left in a state of rest and the people were to focus on God and His will for their nation and their lives.

This year on Sept. 13, the Shemitah reaches its peak on the last day on the Hebrew calendar, Elul 29, known as the “day of nullification.” All debt and credit were to be wiped away on this day as described by author Jonathan Cahn in his New York-Times bestseller, “The Mystery of the Shemitah,” published in September 2014.

But the Shemitah can be a game-changer not only for economies and stock markets but also in geopolitics.

Are America’s days as world leader numbered?

There is no arguing the fact that the United States of America has been the most powerful “empire” on earth since the end of World War II. Its corporations have been the engine that drives the global economy and its politicians have set the tone for the world order. It’s no coincidence the United Nations is based in New York City, the seat of global financial power.

But even as the nation’s economy flounders and it has gone from the world’s largest creditor to the world’s largest debtor, American culture has also drifted farther and farther from God. Some believe it has drifted beyond the point of return, into full-blown rebellion, with the June 26 landmark Supreme Court decision on marriage being only the latest symptom of a nation that has come unhinged from its foundational belief system. Obergefell v. Hodges was the biggest shock to Judeo-Christian moral sensibilities since Roe v. Wade in 1973. Both decisions came down in Shemitah years.

In the oft-quoted words of American political philosopher F.P. Dunne, “the Supreme Court follows the election returns.” If that’s true, such monumental shifts in the court’s rulings should not be viewed in a bubble. The five justices who decided to radically alter the legal definition of marriage could not have ruled that way unless they felt the majority of Americans were ready to accept their decision, if not totally agree with it. Thus far it does not appear that they miscalculated. The overwhelming majority of county clerks are issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples and those who have refused are being replaced by more obedient bureaucrats.

The 20th century’s greatest Christian thinkers, men like Alexander Solzhenitsyn and Francis Schaeffer, believed that a civilization could not continue indefinitely apart from the will of God. Soviet communism fell, Nazi Germany fell, the British Empire disintegrated. And many scholars see the whole of Western civilization as in decline now that it has rejected the very Christianity that made it great. It has succumbed to the pressures that have warred against it from the beginning.

Shemitah shakes empires

One of the chapters in Cahn’s book “The Rise and Fall of Nations” shows how the ancient Shemitah mystery is linked to massive changes of world history – world wars, the rise and fall of nations and empires.

Global problems in our day seem to be spinning out of control. Lawlessness is on the rise. The current order in the Middle East, in place since the end of World War I, has been turned on its head.

“What we are watching now is a massive destabilization throughout the world – from ISIS, to the war in Syria, to the collapse of Greece, the collapse of the Chinese stock market, the destabilizing of the European Union, the issue of nuclear weapons and Iran, the moral and spiritual transformation of America, the deterioration of relations between America and Israel, and more,” Cahn told WND.

In the financial realm, the markets have been expanding since 2009. Cahn believes the Shemitah, if it follows its pattern of the past two seven-year cycles, will bring a shaking in the financial realm first.

“And just now as we approach the climactic last part of the Shemitah, we see the sudden destabilization of the global financial realm,” said Cahn, who authored “The Harbinger,” which became a New York-Times bestseller in 2009.

“Added to this, the Greek crisis specifically deals with issues of debt and debt relief – the central issue of the Shemitah,” he added. “Whether or not the crisis finds a resolution, the very fact that such sudden destabilization of the global financial realm has taken place, and having to do with the issue of debt and credit and the issue of relief, just as the Shemitah nears its climactic period, warrants our attention. And as the Shemitah deals with the wiping out of financial accounts, we now witness China’s financial (stock market) losing 30 percent of its value in less than a month, is more than striking.”

States falling into line even before court’s edict

But it will not stop with the financial realm.

“The Shemitah also can mean ‘the fall.’ And we are watching the greatest, most rapid moral and spiritual fall in American history,” Cahn said. “In the year of the Shemitah, the number of states that struck down the biblical definition of marriage went from a small minority, in the teens, to the majority, and then at the end of June, came one of the most momentous decisions in American judicial history – and history itself – the striking down of the biblical and historic definition of marriage.

“This is a pivotal event with colossal ramifications, and one that draws America one step closer to judgment.”

When Obergefell v. Hodges was being argued before the Supreme Court in March, Cahn said he saw a woman holding a sign that read “Don’t Cross this Line.” He stopped and prayed with her.

Holy matrimony was the first covenant between God and man in the Garden of Eden, when God gave Eve to Adam and the two, male and female, were to become “one flesh” with God as their witness. In the New Testament, marriage is further revealed as a type, a foreshadow, of the relationship between God and his Church, which is called the “Bride of Christ.”

Now man has taken what is holy before God, the marriage covenant, and redefined it in a way that appears right to man in his humanistic way of thinking devoid of the Holy Spirit’s guidance. A line has been crossed, Cahn said, and so the only prayer left to pray is one for repentance and mercy.

America is heading for judgment. Whether that judgment entails a stock market collapse, a collapse of the dollar, or something further down the road that is even worse, Cahn is also praying that the individual Christians that make up the body of Christ in America will get right with God and repent of their sins.

For judgment always starts “in the house of the Lord.”

“Full speed ahead and damn the torpedoes” was an approach fortunately justified by events during the Battle of Mobile Bay, but as a strategy for managing a nation’s economy it is folly. Mr. Obama’s mission to destroy America’s economy is complete. The damage he has done is irreversible. The dollar is history. The American economy is going down, and soon.

The posh commentators say the collapse will be gradual rather than sudden. But few are now predicting there will not be collapse at all.

Here are just some of the pointers. First and foremost, U.S. public debt is $18.3 trillion. By the time Mr. Obama leaves the White House late next year, he will have doubled it in a single “presidency.” On top of that, Uncle Sam has unfunded liabilities of at least $100 trillion – Medicare, Medicaid, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, Social Security and so forth.

Partly as a result of all that debt, and partly through scandalous mismanagement, the U.S. Federal Reserve Bank is insolvent – insolvent even though it has robbed the citizen blind by reducing the value of the dollar to just 4 cents compared with what it would buy when the Fed was founded a century ago.

At book value, the Fed pretends to be solvent, but that is because it accounts for its assets at cost and not at today’s market price. The Fed has $60 billion in capital, about twice that in total assets, and $4.5 trillion in liabilities. Its average leveraging was around 40:1 over the past half-century. Now it is leveraged at more like 80:1. That kind of leveraging among the private banks was what brought about the crash of 2008.

On a mark-to-market basis, the Fed is trading while insolvent. That is illegal for any bank, including the Fed, but the GOP is weak, the individual citizen is too poor to fight city hall in the courts and increasingly the governing class is above the law anyway. So nothing will be done about what is, in essence, one of the largest financial frauds in history.

To try to stave off the now-inevitable crash and the long depression that will follow, the Fed has resorted to the desperate measure of printing more than $3 trillion unsupported by any assets in less than a decade. That works out at $25,000 for every taxpayer in America. It isn’t working. The velocity of money has tanked.

Interest rates have been pushed down to zero, robbing pensioners of a reasonable return on their savings.

Not only that, but new GDP growth per dollar of debt has plummeted from around 50 cents on the dollar to zero under Mr. Obama, whose borrowing produces not merely a loss but a total loss. There is nothing to show for it.

That is not all. There are indications that the Fed may have laundered some $300 billion by paying Belgium to buy some of the U.S. Treasury bonds being dumped by Russia and China. If it isn’t the Fed, then who is it? Belgium can’t afford it. Memo to the CIA’s economic threats division: You’d better find out.

Russia and China are now dumping U.S. Treasuries on the market by the sackful. They know America is going down, and they are getting out in good time. China is going into gold in a very big way, doing so while the price is low. China will make billions when the crash comes and the price of precious metals spikes. Even after dumping Treasuries, she remains far and away America’s largest creditor, holding something like 20 percent of all U.S. government debt.

As Margaret Thatcher used to say, if you are in debt to another country, you are no longer sovereign. The first step she took was to pay back every penny the previous Socialist administration had borrowed overseas. Not so Mr. Obama. His fellow Communists in China now rule the America roost by holding more than a fifth of your nation’s debt.

The CEO of one of Russia’s biggest banks said not long ago: “It is time to change the entire international financial system that considers the dollar the key reserve currency.”

Russia is increasingly denominating international energy export contracts not in dollars but in roubles. China is increasingly doing bilateral trade deals in renminbi, the international version of its own currency, the yuan. America, then, is going to lose the vast cash value of the dollar’s status as the international reserve currency. Indeed, much of that value has already been lost.

Then there’s the private sector. U.S. banks are carrying $60 trillion in debt, which is not far short of a year’s global total economic output. And that debt is growing around 25 times faster than the U.S. economy as a whole. Hardly a stable situation.

Yet, as the Titanic sinks, the band plays on. Stock-market capitalization is currently more than double the annual output of the entire U.S. economy. The normal ratio is about half that. Shares are seriously overvalued. Hardly a stable situation.

The plight to which Mr. Obama has reduced America’s finances has global implications. One of these is that the total value of open futures and options contracts – derivatives based on the underlying value of stocks and shares – is now equal to 10 years’ total global economic output. Hardly a stable situation.

America is already not merely in recession but in depression. One citizen in six gets food stamps. Hardly a stable situation.

In the U.K., we have similar problems. The Children’s Coalition that governed us till earlier this year doubled our national debt in its five-year term of office, and the present administration has now deferred, yet again, the date on which we shall begin to pay back our national debt. More than half of all British households receive more in benefits than they pay in taxes. Hardly a stable situation.

Yet the current British government won the recent general election because the people feared, rightly, that the even more socialist alternative would be still worse for the economy.

In Europe, many Eurozone countries are bankrupt. Greece is just the first domino to fall. Even China, whose stock market has crashed, continues to be weak and may itself be the nation that triggers the worldwide collapse that will bring low the economies of all nations which, like America and Britain, have foolishly adopted socialism.

To quote Margaret Thatcher again, socialism is all very well until other people’s money runs out. Other people’s money has now run out. Expect trouble ahead.

GAY MAN SUES BIBLE PUBLISHERS OVER “HOMOSEXUALITY IS A SIN” VERSES

Man claims Bible causes him "emotional duress" because he's gay

A gay man has filed a $70 million lawsuit against two Bible publishers, claiming their translations of the Bible calling homosexuality a sin caused him “emotional distress.”

The man, Bradley LaShawn Fowler, claims the publishers, Zondervan and Thomas Nelson, have manipulated scripture with the use of the term “homosexuals” in certain revised editions of the Bible.

“Fowler alleges that the term homosexualwas deleted in later versions by Zondervan but in their 1982 and 1987 translations the publisher uses the term in First Corinthians 6:9 incorrectly,” Liberty Voice reported. “The older King James Version, from which his family pastor preaches, has caused him to be cast away by his family for its use of the word homosexual.”

“As a result of suffering 20 years of mental instability and emotional duress, Fowler is suing $60 million from Zondervan and $10 million from Thomas Nelson Publishing.”

Zondervan’s spokesperson, Tara Powers, dismissed his claims.

“Since Zondervan does not translate the Bible or own the copyright for any of the translations we publish, we are not in a position to comment on the merits of how a word should or should not be translated,” she said. “We rely on the scholarly judgment of the highly respected and credible translation committees behind each translation and never alter the text of the translations we are licensed to publish.”

“We only publish credible translations produced by credible biblical scholars.”

Other gay activists simply wrote their own gay-friendly “Bible” called the “Queen James Version.”

Pat Buchanan: 'A secession of the heart has already taken place in America'

The Oklahoma Supreme Court, in a 7-2 decision, has ordered a monument of the Ten Commandments removed from the state Capitol.

Calling the Commandments “religious in nature and an integral part of the Jewish and Christian faiths,” the court said the monument must go.

Gov. Mary Fallin has refused. And Oklahoma lawmakers instead have filed legislation to let voters cut out of their constitution the specific article the justices invoked. Some legislators want the justices impeached.

Fallin’s action seems a harbinger of what is to come in America – an era of civil disobedience like the 1960s, where court orders are defied and laws ignored in the name of conscience and a higher law.

Only this time, the rebellion is likely to arise from the right.

Certainly, Americans are no strangers to lawbreaking. What else was our revolution but a rebellion to overthrow the centuries-old rule and law of king and parliament, and establish our own?

U.S. Supreme Court decisions have been defied and those who defied them lionized by modernity. Thomas Jefferson freed all imprisoned under the sedition act, including those convicted in court trials presided over by Supreme Court justices. Jefferson then declared the law dead.

Some Americans want to replace Andrew Jackson on the $20 bill with Harriet Tubman, who, defying the Dred Scott decision and fugitive slave acts, led slaves to freedom on the Underground Railroad.

New England abolitionists backed the anti-slavery fanatic John Brown, who conducted the raid on Harpers Ferry that got him hanged but helped to precipitate a Civil War. That war was fought over whether 11 Southern states had the same right to break free of Mr. Lincoln’s Union as the 13 colonies did to break free of George III’s England.

Millions of Americans, with untroubled consciences, defied the Volstead Act, imbibed alcohol and brought an end to Prohibition.

In the civil rights era, defying laws mandating segregation and ignoring court orders banning demonstrations became badges of honor.

Rosa Parks is a heroine because she refused to give up her seat on a Montgomery bus, despite the laws segregating public transit that relegated blacks to the “back of the bus.”

In “Letter from Birmingham Jail,” Dr. King, defending civil disobedience, cited Augustine – “an unjust law is no law at all” – and Aquinas who defined an unjust law as “a human law that is not rooted in eternal law and natural law.”

Said King, “One has a moral responsibility to disobey unjust laws.”

But who decides what is an “unjust law”?

If, for example, one believes that abortion is the killing of an unborn child and same-sex marriage is an abomination that violates “eternal law and natural law,” do those who believe this not have a moral right if not a “moral responsibility to disobey such laws”?

Rosa Parks is celebrated. But the pizza lady who said her Christian beliefs would not permit her to cater a same-sex wedding was declared a bigot. And the LGBT crowd, crowing over its Supreme Court triumph, is writing legislation to make it a violation of federal civil rights law for that lady to refuse to cater that wedding.

But are people who celebrate the Stonewall riots in Greenwich Village as the Mount Sinai moment of their movement really standing on solid ground to demand that we all respect the Obergefell decision as holy writ?

And if cities, states or Congress enact laws that make it a crime not to rent to homosexuals, or to refuse services at celebrations of their unions, would not dissenting Christians stand on the same moral ground as Dr. King if they disobeyed those laws?

Already, some businesses have refused to comply with the Obamacare mandate to provide contraceptives and abortion-inducing drugs to their employees. Priests and pastors are going to refuse to perform same-sex marriages. Churches and chapels will refuse to host them. Christian colleges and universities will deny married-couple facilities to homosexuals.

Laws will be passed to outlaw such practices as discrimination, and those laws, which the Christians believe violate eternal law and natural law, will, as Dr. King instructed, be disobeyed.

And the removal of tax exemptions will then be on the table.

If a family disagreed as broadly as we Americans do on issues so fundamental as right and wrong, good and evil, the family would fall apart, the couple would divorce, and the children would go their separate ways.

Something like that is happening in the country.

A secession of the heart has already taken place in America, and a secession, not of states, but of people from one another, caused by divisions on social, moral, cultural and political views and values, is taking place.

America is disuniting, Arthur Schlesinger Jr. wrote 25 years ago.

And for those who, when young, rejected the views, values and laws of Eisenhower’s America, what makes them think that dissenting Americans in this post-Christian and anti-Christian era will accept their laws, beliefs, values?

Bill Federer remembers inspiring life of George Washington Carver, who 'loved humanity'

George Washington Carver was born a slave during the Civil War, possibly around the date of July 12, 1865, but there are no records.

Within a few weeks, his father, who belonged to the next farm over, was killed in a log hauling accident. Shortly after the Civil War, while still an infant, George was kidnapped along with his mother and sister by bushwhackers. Moses Carver, a German immigrant, sent friends to track down the thieves and offered to trade his best horse to retrieve them.

Told to leave the horse and come back later, the thieves only left baby George lying on the ground, sick with the whooping cough. George never saw his mother and sister again. Illness claimed the lives of his two other sisters and they were buried on the Carver farm.

George and his older brother, Jim, were raised on the farm in Diamond Grove, Missouri, by “Uncle” Moses and “Aunt” Sue Carver, who were childless. In poor health as a child, George stayed near the house helping with chores, learning to cook, clean, sew, mend and wash laundry. His recreation was to spend time in the woods.

George worked his way through grade school, high school and college, eventually joining the staff at Iowa State College of Agricultural and Mechanical Arts.

In the fall of 1896, George surprised the staff by announcing his plans to give up his promising future there and join the Tuskegee Institute in Alabama, which was founded by Booker T. Washington. The staff showed Carver their appreciation by purchasing him a going-away present, a microscope, which he used extensively throughout his career.

At Tuskegee, George assembled an Agricultural Department. He visited nearby farmers and taught them farming techniques, such as crop rotation, fertilization and erosion prevention.

Carver noticed that the soil was depleted due to years of repeated cotton growth and produced very poorly. Also, an insect called the boll weevil swept through the South, destroying cotton crops and leaving farmers devastated. Farmers heeded Carver’s advice but soon had more peanuts than the market wanted, as peanuts were primarily used as animal feed.

George determined to increase the market for peanuts by discovering and popularizing hundreds of uses for them. He did the same for the sweet potato, pecan, soybean, cowpea, wild plum and okra. George credited Divine inspiration for giving him ideas regarding how to perform experiments.

In the summer of 1920, the Young Men’s Christian Association of Blue Ridge, North Carolina, invited Professor Carver to speak at their summer school for the southern states. Dr. Willis D. Weatherford, president of Blue Ridge, introduced him as the speaker. With his high voice surprising the audience, Dr. Carver exclaimed humorously: “I always look forward to introductions as opportunities to learn something about myself …”

He continued: “Years ago I went into my laboratory and said, ‘Dear Mr. Creator, please tell me what the universe was made for?’ The Great Creator answered, ‘You want to know too much for that little mind of yours. Ask for something more your size, little man.’ Then I asked, ‘Please, Mr. Creator, tell me what man was made for.’ Again the Great Creator replied, ‘You are still asking too much. Cut down on the extent and improve the intent.’ So then I asked, ‘Please, Mr. Creator, will you tell me why the peanut was made?’ ‘That’s better, but even then it’s infinite. What do you want to know about the peanut?’ ‘Mr. Creator, can I make milk out of the peanut?’ ‘What kind of milk do you want? Good Jersey milk or just plain boarding house milk?’ ‘Good Jersey milk.’ And then the Great Creator taught me to take the peanut apart and put it together again. And out of the process have come forth all these products!”

Among the numerous products displayed was a bottle of good Jersey milk. Three and-a-half ounces of peanuts produced one pint of rich milk or one quart of raw “skim” milk, called boarding house “blue john” milk.

On Jan. 21, 1921, Carver addressed the United States House Ways and Means Committee on behalf of the United Peanut Growers Association on the use of peanuts to improve Southern economy. George expounded on the many potential uses of the peanut as a means to improve the Southern economy. Initially given only ten minutes to speak, George Carver so enthralled the committee that the chairman said, “Go ahead Brother. Your time is unlimited!”

George spoke for one hour and forty-five minutes, explaining the many food products that could be derived from peanuts: “If you go to the first chapter of Genesis, we can interpret very clearly, I think, what God intended when he said, ‘Behold, I have given you every herb that bears seed. To you it shall be meat.’ This is what He means about it. It shall be meat. There is everything there to strengthen and nourish and keep the body alive and healthy.”

The Committee Chairman asked Carver: “Dr. Carver, how did you learn all of these things?”

Carver answered, “From an old book.”

“What book?” asked the Chairman.

Carver replied, “The Bible.”

The Chairman inquired, “Does the Bible tell about peanuts?”

“No, sir,” Carver replied. “But it tells about the God who made the peanut. I asked Him to show me what to do with the peanut, and He did.”

On Nov. 19, 1924, Carver spoke to over 500 people at the Women’s Board of Domestic Missions: “God is going to reveal to us things He never revealed before if we put our hands in His. No books ever go into my laboratory. The thing I am to do and the way are revealed to me the moment I am inspired to create something new. Without God to draw aside the curtain, I would be helpless. Only alone can I draw close enough to God to discover His secrets.”

On March 24, 1925, Carver wrote to Robert Johnson, an employee of Chesley Enterprises of Ontario: “Thank God I love humanity; complexion doesn’t interest me one single bit.”

On July 10, 1924, George Washington Carver wrote to James Hardwick: “God cannot use you as He wishes until you come into the fullness of His Glory. Do not get alarmed, my friend, when doubts creep in. That is old Satan. Pray, pray, pray. Oh, my friend, I am praying that God will come in and rid you entirely of self so you can go out after souls right, or rather have souls seek the Christ in you. This is my prayer for you always.”

On July 20, 2010, the New York Times ran a feature article introducing a new nonprofit organization called the Lifeboat Foundation.[i] The concept behind the group was simple yet disturbing. “For example,” the article said, “there’s talk of a Neuroethics Shield to prevent abuse in the areas of neuropharmaceuticals, neurodevices, and neurodiagnostics. Worse cases include enslaving the world’s population or causing everyone to commit suicide.

“And then there’s a Personality Preserver that would help people keep their personalities intact and a Nano Shield to protect against overly aggressive nanocreatures.”

The Lifeboat Foundation is very involved with the future as we move through the year 2015, and if they sound like a storehouse for overreacting geeks or even outright nut jobs, consider that their donors involve Google, Hewlett-Packard, Sun Microsystems, and an impressive list of industry and technology executives, including names on their advisory boards like Nobel laureate and Princeton University Prof. Eric Maskin.

What the development of such enterprising research groups illustrates is that even if one does not believe speculation from the previous entries suggesting mind-bending concepts like Nephilim being resurrected into posthuman bodies via Grin technology, all of society—regardless of religious or secular worldviews—should consider that what we are doing now through genetic modification of living organisms, the wholesale creation of new synthetic life-forms, and now gene-editing human embryos at the germline level is either a violation of the divine order (biblical creation, such as the authors of this book believe) or chaos upon natural evolution, or both. The road we have started down is thus wrought with unknown perils, and the Lifeboat Foundation is correct to discern how the transhuman era may abruptly result in the need for “shields” to protect earth species from designer viruses, nanobugs, prion contamination, and a host of other clear and present dangers. Part of the obvious reasons behind this is, in addition to the known shortcomings of biotechnology corporations and research facilities to remain impartial in their safety reviews (they have a vested interest in protecting approval and distribution of their products), futurist think tanks such as the Lifeboat Foundation understand that the phrase, “those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it” is axiomatic for a reason. Human nature has a clear track record of developing defense mechanisms only after natural or manufactured threats have led to catastrophe. We humans seem doomed to learn from our mistakes far more often than from prevention. Consider how nuclear reactors were forced to become safer only after the Chernobyl disaster, or how a tsunami warning system was developed by the United Nations following 230,000 people being killed by a titanic wave in the Indian Ocean. This fact of human nature portends an especially ill wind for mankind when viewed against the existential threats of biological creations, artificial intelligence systems, or geoengineering of nature, which carry the potential not only of backfiring but of permanently altering the course of humanity. “Our attitude throughout human history has been to experience events like these and then to put safeguards in place,” writes Prof. Nick Bostrom. “That strategy is completely futile with existential risks [as represented in Grin tech]. By definition, you don’t get to learn from experience. You only have one chance to get it right.”[ii] Because of the truly catastrophic threat thus posed by mostly unregulated INHUMAN advances this century, Richard Posner, a U.S. appeals court judge and author of the book Catastrophe: Risk and Response, wanted “an Office of Risk and Catastrophe set up in the White House. The office would be charged with identifying potentially dangerous technologies and calling in experts to inform its own risk assessment.” The problem right now, Posner adds, “is that no single government department takes responsibility for these kinds of situations.”[iii] Not surprisingly, many transhumanists contested Posner’s proposal, saying it represents just another unnecessary bureaucracy that would stand in the way of scientific progress.

Yet of greater significance and repeatedly missing from such secular considerations is what the producers of the upcoming documentary INHUMAN believe to be the more important element: supernaturalism and spirituality. Beyond the material ramifications of those threats posed by the genetics revolution is something most scientists, engineers, and bioethicists fail to comprehend—that man is not just a series of biological functions. We are spirit and soul and vulnerable to spiritual, not just environmental, dangers. Thus the “shields” that the Lifeboat Foundation is working on will only protect us so far. We will need spiritual shields too as Grin raises those bigger issues of how human-transforming enhancements may alter our very souls (says Joel Garreau) as well as hundreds of immediate new challenges that Christians, families, and ministries will be facing.

It is an understatement to say that technology often works hand in hand with unseen forces to challenge our faith or open new channels for spiritual warfare. This has been illustrated in thousands of ways down through time—from the creation of Ouija boards for contacting the spirit world to online pornography gateways. But the current course upon which Grin technology and transhumanist philosophy is taking mankind threatens to elevate the reality of these dangers to quantitatively higher levels. Some of the spiritual hazards already surfacing as a result of modern technology include unfamiliar terms like “i-Dosing,” in which teens get “digitally high” by playing specific Internet videos through headphones that use repetitive tones to create binaural beats, which have been shown in clinical studies to induce particular brain-wave states that make the sounds appear to come from the center of the head. Shamans have used variations of such repetitive tones and drumming to stimulate and focus the “center mind” for centuries to make contact with the spirit world and to achieve altered states of consciousness.

More broadly, the Internet itself, together with increasing forms of electronic information-driven technology, is creating a new kind of addiction by “rewiring our brains,” says Nora Volkow, world-renowned brain scientist and director of the National Institute of Drug Abuse. The lure of “digital stimulation” can actually produce dopamine releases in the brain that affect the heart rate and blood pressure and lead to drug-like highs and lows. As bad, the addictive craving for digital stimulation is leading to the electronic equivalent of Attention Deficit Disorder (add) among a growing population in which constant bursts of information and digital stimulation undermine one’s ability to focus—especially in children, whose brains are still developing and who naturally struggle to resist impulses or to neglect priorities. A growing body of literature is verifying this e-connection to personality fragmentation, cyberrelationships over personal ones, and other psychosocial issues. Volkow and other researchers see these antisocial trends leading to widespread diminished empathy between people—which is essential to the human condition—as a result of humans paying more and more attention to iPads, iPhones, and computer screens than to each other, even when sitting in the same room. New research shows this situation becoming an electronic pandemic as people escalate their detachment from traditional family relationships while consuming three times as much digital information today as they did in 2008, checking e-mails, texting thirty-seven times per hour, and spending twelve hours per day on average taking in other e-media.

How brain-machine interfacing will multiply this divide between human-to-human relationships versus human-machine integration should be of substantial concern to readers for several reasons, including how 1) the Borgification of man will naturally exasperate the decline of the family unit and interpersonal relationships upon which society has historically depended; 2) the increase of euphoric cybernetic addiction will multiply as cerebral stimulation of the brain’s pleasure centers is added to existing natural senses—sight, hearing, taste, smell, and touch; and 3) the threat of computer viruses or hijackers disrupting enhanced human neural or cognitive pathways will develop as cyber-enhanced individuals evolve. To illustrate the latter, Dr. Mark Gasson, from the School of Systems Engineering at the University of Reading in the United Kingdom, intentionally contaminated an implanted microchip in his hand that allows him biometric entry through security doors and that also communicates with his cell phone and other external devices. In the experiment, Dr. Gasson (who agrees that the next step in human evolution is the transhuman vision of altered human biology integrated with machines) was able to show how the computer virus he infected himself with spread to external computer systems in communication with his microchip. He told BBC News, “With the benefits of this type of technology come risks. We [will] improve ourselvesbut much like the improvements with other technologies, mobile phones for example, they become vulnerable to risks, such as security problems and computer viruses.”[iv]

Such threats—computer viruses passing from enhanced humans to enhanced humans via future cybernetic systems—is the tip of the iceberg. The real danger, though it may be entirely unavoidable for some, will be the loss of individuality, anonymity, privacy, and even free will as a result of cybernetic integration. Dr. Christopher Hook contends, “If implanted devices allow the exchange of information between the biological substrate and the cybernetic device,” such a device in the hippocampus (the part of the brain involved in forming, storing, and processing memory) for augmenting memory, for instance, “would be intimately associated with the creation and recall of memories as well as with all the emotions inherent in that process. If this device were to allow the importation of information from the Internet, could the device also allow the memories and thoughts of the individual to be downloaded or read by others? In essence, what is to prevent the brain itself from being hacked [or externally monitored]? The last bastion of human privacy, the brain, will have been breached.”[v]

Despite these significant ethical and social dangers, industry and government interest in the technological dream of posthumanism, as documented in the upcoming film INHUMAN, is more than laissez-faire. The steady migration toward the fulfillment of biologically and cybernetically modified humans combined with corporate and national investments will predictably fuse this century, ultimately leading to strong cultural forces compelling all individuals to get “plugged in” to the grid. Whoever resists will be left behind as inferior Luddites (those who oppose new technology), or worse, considered enemies of the collectives’ progress, as in de Garis’ nightmarish vision in the Artilect War or former counter-terrorism czar Richard Clark’s Breakpoint, which depicts those who refuse technological enhancement as “terrorists.”

According to the work Human Dignity in the Biotech Century, this pressure to become enhanced will be dramatic upon people in all social strata, including those in the middle class, law, engineering, finance, professional fields, and the military, regardless of personal or religious views:

Consider whether the military, after investing billions in the development of technologies to create the cyborg soldier would allow individual soldiers to decline the enhancements because of religious or personal qualms. It is not likely. Individuals may indeed dissent and decline technological augmentation, but such dissenters will find job options increasingly scarce.

Because the network of cyborgs will require increasing levels of cooperation and harmonious coordination to further improve efficiency, the prostheses will continue to introduce means of controlling or modulating emotion to promote these values. Meanwhile, the network is increasingly controlled by central planning structures to facilitate harmony and efficiency. While everyone still considers themselves fully autonomous, in reality behavior is more and more tightly controlled. Each step moves those who are cybernetically augmented toward becoming like the Borg, the race of cybernetic organisms that inhabit the twenty-sixth century of the Star Trek mythology. The Borg, once fully human, become “assimilated” by the greater collective mind, losing individuality for the good of the whole.[vi]

Lest anyone think the writers of Human Dignity in the Biotech Century are overly paranoid, consider that nbic (Nanotechnology, Biotechnology, Information Technology, and Cognitive Science) director Mihail Roco, in the U.S. government report, Converging Technologies for Improving Human Performance, wrote,

Humanity would become like a single, distributed and interconnected “brain” based in new core pathways in society. A networked society of billions of human beings could be as complex compared to an individual being as a human being is to a single nerve cell. From local groups of linked enhanced individuals to a global collective intelligence, key new capacities would arise from relationships arising from nbic technologies. Far from unnatural, such a collective social system may be compared to a larger form of biological organism. We envision the bond of humanity driven by an interconnected virtual brain of the Earth’s communities searching for intellectual comprehension and conquest of nature.”[vii]

Nowhere will the struggle to resist this human biological alteration and machine integration be more immediate than in those religious homes where transhumanism is seen as an assault on God’s creative genius, and where, as a result, people of faith seek to maintain their humanity. Yet the war against such believers is poised to emerge over the next decade as much from inside these homes and families as it will from external social influences.

As a simple example, flash forward to the near future when much of the technology previously discussed—factually based on emerging technologies and anticipated time frames—is common. Your tenth-grade daughter, Michelle, walks in from a first day at a new school.

“Well, how did it go, Honey?” you ask with a smile.

“It was okay,” she says, “though the kids here are even smarter than at the last school.” But then she pauses. She knows begging to be enhanced like most of her classmates will only lead to more arguing—common between you two on this subject. How can she make you understand what it’s like even trying to compete with the transhumans? The fact that most of the student body, students who are half her age, will graduate from college summa cum laude with IQs higher than Einstein’s by the time she even enters is a ridiculous and unnecessary impediment, she feels. She can’t understand it. You’ve seen the news, the advertising, the H+ magazines articles and television specials outlining the advantages of enhancement. Even the family doctor tried to convince you. But it will probably take a visit from Child Welfare Services, which in the U.S. is soon to follow the European model where, starting in 2025, parents whose children went without basic modifications were charged with neglect and had their kids put in foster homes. She just wishes it wouldn’t come to that. If only you could be like those Emergent Christians 2.0 whose techno-theology arose during the early enhancement craze of 2018–2020, based on a universalist imperative for “perfectionist morality” and the Christian duty to be “healers and perfecters” as opposed to the “bio-Luddite theology” of your outdated religious “divine order” concept, which only serves to keep people like her at disadvantage. That’s why she gave you the school report compiled by Prof. Joel Garreau describing the average high school pupil today, so you could understand how her classmates:

• Have amazing thinking abilities. They’re not only faster and more creative than anybody she’s ever met, but faster and more creative than anybody she’s ever imagined.

• They have photographic memories and total recall. They can devour books in minutes.

• They’re beautiful, physically. Although they don’t put much of a premium on exercise, their bodies are remarkably ripped.

• They talk casually about living a long time, perhaps being immortal. They’re always discussing their “next lives.” One fellow mentions how, after he makes his pile as a lawyer, he plans to be a glassblower, after which he wants to become a nanosurgeon.

• One of her new friends fell while jogging, opening up a nasty gash on her knee. Your daughter freaked, ready to rush her to the hospital. But her friend just stared at the gaping wound, focusing her mind on it. Within minutes, it simply stopped bleeding.

• This same friend has been vaccinated against pain. She never feels acute pain for long.

• These new friends are always connected to each other, sharing their thoughts no matter how far apart, with no apparent gear. They call it “silent messaging.” It seems like telepathy.

• They have this odd habit of cocking their head in a certain way whenever they want to access information they don’t yet have in their own skulls—as if waiting for a delivery to arrive wirelessly which it does.

• For a week or more at a time, they don’t sleep. They joke about getting rid of their beds, since they use them so rarely.[viii]

Even though these enhanced students treat her with compassion and know that she is biologically and mentally handicapped by no fault of her own, she hates it when they call her a “Natural.” It feels so condescending. And then, at the last school, there was that boy she wanted to date, only to discover it was against the informed-consent regulations passed by the Department of Education two years ago restricting romantic relationships between “Naturals” and the “Enhanced.” She could have crawled into a hole, she was so embarrassed. But she’s decided not to fight you anymore about it. Next year she will be eighteen years old and has been saving her money. With the federal Unenhanced Student Aid programs administered by the U.S. Department of Education and the United Naturals Student Fund (unsf) that provides financial assistance and support for “Disaugmented American Students,” grades pre-kindergarten to twelve, whose motto is “An augmented mind is a terrible thing to waste,” she’ll have enough for Level 1 Genetic Improvement plus a couple of toys like Bluetooth’s new extracranial cybernetic communicator. It’s not much, but it’s a start, and though you will tell her that her brain-machine interface, and especially her genetic upgrade, makes her—as well as any kids she has in the future—inhuman, according to the school’s genetic guidance counselor, there will be nothing you can do to legally stop her.

Last scientist in Congress has human genetic engineering warning

It is rare that prominent members of the scientific community come together to warn our leaders of technological breakthroughs that our legal system and society are not prepared for. As the last scientist with a Ph.D. remaining in Congress, I feel a responsibility to transmit those concerns to my colleagues and to the public.

The breakthrough in question relates to human genetic engineering. This has long been a theoretical possibility assumed to be decades away from practicality. In the last several years this has changed significantly due to recent breakthroughs that allow inexpensive and precise editing of chromosomal DNA. The technological potential has been amplified by the widespread adoption of in vitro fertilization, the rapid decline in the cost of genome sequencing, increasing use of Big Data to understand the relationship between genetic variations and behavior and the rapid spread of these technologies throughout the world.

It’s time for leaders in government to take notice.

The ability to modify DNA has been around for decades, but until recently it was expensive and time consuming, and required a very high level of technical skill. That has changed significantly in the last few years with the development of new gene editing tools such as CRISPR/Cas9, introduced by Jennifer Doudna and others. These tools have been rapidly adopted by researchers around the world.

These tools are revolutionary because they enable any researcher with basic capabilities in molecular biology to edit genomes. Therein lies the promise and the danger. Anyone with $300 and Internet access can now buy their own CRISPR kit to begin primitive genome editing of plants and animals.

It works like an old-fashioned film reel, where a director can cut apart a film, take frames out and fill them in with something new. Already, this tool is in daily use in laboratories around the world, editing DNA to produce genetically customized versions of organisms from cell cultures to insects, plants, mice and monkeys.

There is the possibility of great benefit from these new technologies. Animal models with specific genetic variations are being created to greatly accelerate research to determine the links between genetics and disease. In agriculture, it has the potential to vastly accelerate our ability to develop more productive crops, better biofuels and favorable animal characteristics like high growth rates and stronger immune systems to reduce the need for antibiotics. However, environmental risks are also amplified.

Yet what really makes this tool revolutionary is what it could mean for humans. Many of the potential applications of this technology are likely to be non-controversial: for example, replacing the bone marrow of someone suffering from a sickle-cell disease with a modified version of their own marrow but with the genetic defect removed. Genetic modifications of this kind will only carry risks to a single person and not affect future generations. However, if genetic modifications are made to “germline” cells — sperm, eggs and

embryos — these modifications will also be carried forward to future generations. This will fundamentally change the course of human evolution and is something ethicists have been concerned about for decades.

Although none of these tools have yet demonstrated the reliability necessary for safe clinical modification of the human germline, the rate of technological progress is such that it is prudent to begin thinking through the implications. Many in the scientific community believe there are critical ethical, legal and safety questions that must be answered before this research advances. Earlier this year, many of the most respected scientists in the field published a letter calling for a moratorium on human germline modification for clinical applications, warning that “there is an urgent need for open discussion of the merits and risks of human

genome modification.”

So serious is the potential for CRISPR and related tools that the National Academy of Sciences and the National Academy of Medicine recently announced they will launch a major international initiative to develop guidelines for human gene editing. Additionally, the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology, on which I serve, hosted the first congressional hearing on the topic.

This is a critical point in the future of humankind, much like the advent of nuclear power. That was a development that fundamentally altered global politics and created such a lasting impact that it won’t only be remembered by historians but will forever be traceable in our geological history. Similarly, the first human life created from a genetically modified embryo will be a development that will alter the global political landscape and will forever be traceable in the human genetic record.

We are on the verge of a technological breakthrough that could change the future of humankind; we must not blindly charge ahead. Now is the time to engage in serious and thoughtful discussion about what this means for the future of the human race.

AND THE COMING OF THE TECHNOCRATIC UTOPIA

Deep inside every man and woman is the longing for a far better world, a world without war, disease, death, and pain. Our present world is a cruel world in which every life ends in death. From the beginning of time Mankind has sought to use science and technology to create a perfect world, what some would call “Utopia” or “Paradise”. As the Human Race began to organize itself, a “Scientific” or “Technocratic Elite” rose to power, by promising the masses that they could build this perfect world.

Ancient Babylon represented the first historical attempt to build paradise on earth.

According to the Biblical account, Mankind began at the Garden of Eden, which was a perfect world, a true paradise. According to modern writers like Joseph Campbell, the account of the Garden of Eden and its original inhabitants was simply a myth, for Man to live by. Evolutionary scientists believe that this account of Eden was a fable, and that, Man evolved from random chance over the course of hundreds of millions of years. In contrast, Biblical theologians believe that the story of Eden is a literal account of Man’s beginnings, although many believe that God guided the evolutionary process through what is called “theistic evolution”.

Despite the differences of opinion as to the exact origins of Man, there are a growing number of scientists and theologians who believe that, at some point there was a great flood, or climate change catastrophe, which wiped out super-civilizations like Atlantis, in a time period known as “pre-history.” These ancient civilizations were run by races of highly intelligent men and women, who had access to technologies that, in many respects, are superior to the technologies we have today. The proofs of that assertion are the massive archaeological structures that have been left behind underwater, or above ground, as in the cases of the Egyptian pyramids, Incan temples, Mayan temples, and countless other structures around the world.

According to the Greek philosopher Plato, Atlantis was a “super-civilization” that was ruled by ten philosopher kings, or, what could be termed a “Scientific Elite” or “Technocratic Elite”. Today, this concept has been passed down through thousands of years of human history, from the Tower of Babel in ancient Babylon, through the Egyptian god-kings, the emperors of Rome, and the European belief in the “divine right of kings”. The guiding philosophy of the “Scientific Elite” or “Technocratic Elite” is that they are genetically superior, and more intelligent than the masses of humanity, and therefore, have the Darwinian right to rule.

Despite the outward façade of democracy, (in places like Europe and North America), the reality is that, there exists a powerful elite who believe they are fully justified in ruling the world.

In 2012, Zbigniew Brzezinski, (a top advisor to five U.S. presidents and co-founder of the Trilateral Commission with Rockefeller), warned of a “global political awakening” that was being driven by alternative radio, television, and the Internet. In 2010, Brzezinski said, at the Council on Foreign Relations meeting in Montreal, that:

“the major world powers, new and old, also face a novel reality: while the lethality of their military might is greater than ever, their capacity to impose control over the politically awakened masses of the world, is at a historic low. To put it bluntly: in earlier times, it was easier to control one million people than to physically kill one million people; today, it is infinitely easier to kill one million, people than to control one million people.”

There can be no other reasonable interpretation…this is a direct threat against all who oppose being enslaved and eventually exterminated.

Apparently, the elite believe in all-out fascism, and total dictatorial control, beneath a corporate façade of a button, with a happy face on it. In 1970, Brzezinski, (a member of the Bilderberg Group), wrote a book entitled Between Two Ages: America’s Role in the Technetronic Era. Brzezinski defined the “technetronic society” as:

“a society that is shaped, culturally, psychologically, socially, and economically by the impact of technology and electronics – particularly in the arena of computers and communications. The industrial process is no longer the principal determinant of social change, altering the mores, the social structure, and the values of society.”

Brzezinski was talking about using “scientific mind control technology” to create the kind of Scientific Dictatorship that Aldous Huxley wrote about in his 1932 dystopian novel “Brave New World”. In his 1958 essay, “Brave New World Revisited,” Huxley wrote:

“In politics, the equivalent of a fully developed scientific theory, or, philosophical system, is a totalitarian dictatorship. In economics, the equivalent of a beautifully composed work of art is, the smoothly running factory in which the workers are perfectly adjusted to the machines. The Will to Order can make tyrants out of those who merely aspire to clear up a mess. The beauty of tidiness is used as a justification for despotism… “The twenty-first century, I suppose, will be the era of World Controllers, the scientific caste system and Brave New World.”

In ancient civilizations like Babylon, Nimrod, who showed evidence of a genetic advantage over his contemporaries, built numerous cities, including the Tower of Babel, (which ostensibly was built to reach into the heavens in order to worship the “Host of Heaven,”) but, really was a “technological Stargate” that allowed for the opening of an “interdimensional portal” where beings from another dimension could gain entrance.

If all this sounds far-fetched, consider the fact that the actual translation of Babylon means “the gate of the gods.”

Babylon was the world’s first one world government, one world economic system, and one world religion. The Tower of Babel was built as a ziggurat, (which is somewhat like a pyramid-shaped tower). The spiritual and technological systems of ancient Babylon were known as “Mystery Babylon”, and they have been passed down through secret societies for thousands of years. The entire Egyptian “god-king” system evolved from this, with the concept that the Pharaohs are actually genetically superior god-kings, along with the ancient pyramids, which borrow from the ziggurat architectural style of the Tower of Babel.

This Babylonian system, (which was a spiritual, economic, and governmental system), moved through many civilizations in the ancient world, and finally to Europe, (with its system based on the “divine right of kings”).

One of the foundational concepts of the Babylonian system is the science of “eugenics” or “selective breeding”. From Babylon through the Pharaohs, the Caesars, and finally the Kings of Europe, there has been a secret program to carefully breed, within certain genetic bloodlines, (which some refer to as “Illuminati bloodlines”). Although the idea of Illuminati bloodline families is very controversial, and is rejected by most scientists, variations of the theme are being accepted, as a growing number of scientists embrace the idea that Planet Earth was “seeded” by an extraterrestrial race hundreds of millions of years ago.

At the time of the American Revolution of 1776, a radical idea of a nation ruled by “We the People” was born. Much of the world, and especially Europe, was radically impacted by the ideas of the American Revolution. The Constitution declared that “We the People” have been given certain “inalienable rights from their Creator,” which means that God, and not Man, or human governments, grants men “rights”, such as: “Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness”, and, these rights cannot be taken away by the whims of governments, or dictators. In addition, the American “Bill of Rights” grants us things like “Freedom of Speech”, “Freedom of the Press”, “Freedom of Religion”, “Freedom of Assembly”, “Freedom From Unreasonable Search and Seizure”, and other rights, completely unique in human history, and this is the reason why America, up until recently, has prospered more than any other nation in the history of Mankind.

It is important to note that all of these ideas and laws, (that give Man freedom), come directly from a Biblical worldview, and Judeo-Christian philosophy. They do not come from “humanistic philosophies”, because almost all “humanistic philosophies”, such as what emanated from the French Revolution, or Communism, or Hitler’s National Socialism, always produce poverty, dictatorship, and the slaughter of millions of people. Despite the endless propaganda from our media, and educational institutions, humanism, socialism, and Communism, destroy freedom, produce extreme poverty, and end up killing millions.

Just look at how “Progressive-Marxist” ideas, (that began to explode in the 1960s counter-culture with things like the “Free Speech Movement”), and the endless “liberation movements”, have now become the most aggressive force for censoring free speech, creating “micro-management”, and government control over every aspect of our lives, lowering our standard of living, and generally producing a fascist movement in America, that acts like a contagion, destroying both the freedoms and prosperity of what was once the “American Dream.”

The destructive by-product of “humanistic philosophies” and “Marxist ideas” have produced the same destructive results, wherever they have been applied, in places like Russia, China, North Korea, Cuba, Viet Nam, etc.

It must be noted that Capitalism, (divorced from a Biblical worldview), can be extremely destructive in that it produces wealth for an Oligarchy, but it often exploits and enslaves the ordinary man or woman. In addition, all of the Communist revolutions, and the National Socialism of Adolph Hitler, were directly financed by the super-capitalists, who compose the elite.

In direct contrast, the truly Biblical ideas, (that produced the American Dream), although not perfectly duplicated, spread across the nations of Europe, and many other nations in the world, producing freedom and prosperity. Again, just look at the difference between East and West Germany, until the Berlin Wall was torn down during the Reagan Administration.

The educational systems, and media, program the masses to believe that Capitalism and Communism or “liberalism” and “conservatism” are different and competing systems. This is an illusion, created by the “Scientific” or “Technocratic Elite”, who use these “illusory opposing forces” in what is called the “Hegelian Dialectic”, where the goal is, to “raise up opposites”, (like Communism and Capitalism), for the sole purpose of “creating a synthesis”, which is a “World Socialist State”, that supposedly will be a kind of “Democratic Socialism”, which is complete nonsense, because it will actually be run by a “Scientific Elite”.

Here in America, and across Europe, the “Scientific Elite” have operated from behind the scenes, giving the masses the illusion that they live in a Democratic Republic, and that, “all men are created equal.” But the reality is that, this elite simply began ruling, and controlling things, through a vast network of secret societies, and semi-secret societies, (like the Illuminati, Freemasons, Bilderberg Group, Royal Institute of International Affairs, Council on Foreign Relations, Tri-Lateral Commission, Skull and Bones, Bohemian Grove, and numerous other interlocking groups).

The “Scientific Elite” have found it more expedient to perpetuate the illusion, (that the common man lives in some kind of democracy), while in reality, the elite is controlling things, through shadow governments. Members of this “Technocratic Elite”, like Brzezinski, Aldous Huxley, and others, have promoted the concept of a “Scientific Dictatorship”, where “scientific mind control” and “psychotronic weapons”, convince the masses that they are free, when in reality, they are becoming slaves, in a new global feudal state run by an Oligarchy.

The Fabian Socialist, Bertrand Russell, (in his 1952 bookT he Impact of Science on Society), explained this “Scientific Dictatorship”.

Russell wrote:

“I think the subject, which will be of most importance politically, is “mass psychology”. “Mass psychology” is, scientifically speaking, not a very advanced study…. This study is immensely useful to practical men, whether they wish to become rich or to acquire the government. It is, of course, as a science, founded upon individual psychology, but hitherto, it has employed rule-of-thumb methods, which were based upon a kind of intuitive common sense. Its importance has been enormously increased by the growth of modern methods of propaganda. Of these, the most influential is what is called ‘education’. Religion plays a part, though a diminishing one; the Press, the cinema, and the radio, play an increasing part.

What is essential in “mass psychology” is the art of persuasion. If you compare a speech of Hitler’s, with a speech of (say) Edmund Burke, you will see what strides have been made in the art, since the eighteenth century. What went wrong, formerly, was that people had read in books that man is a rational animal, and framed their arguments on this hypothesis. We now know that limelight and a brass band do more to persuade, than can be done by the most elegant train of syllogisms. It may be hoped that, in time, anybody will be able to persuade anybody, of anything, if he can catch the patient young, and is provided by the State with money and equipment.

This subject will make great strides, when it is taken up by scientists under a ‘scientific dictatorship’.”

In Mankind’s early history, Man did not separate science, technology, and the supernatural. The ancient super-civilizations integrated occult technology and science along with spirituality. There were no false dichotomies.

The modern “Scientific Elite” understands this. This is why Sir Arthur C. Clarke said that “Science is magic.” Clarke was not trying to be clever; he was making reference to a principle.

Aldous Huxley was a member of the “cult of Dionysus”, (which worshipped the Sun god Ra). Nimrod was named “Ra” after his wife Semiramis reportedly murdered him, and, she said that Nimrod had ascended into the heavens as the “Sun god Ra”.

It is not an accident that, in the Book of Revelation, we see “Babylon” return as a spiritual,[Rev. 17], and, economic system,[ rev.18], that will rule the world.

The reality is that, in our modern era, we have never left “Babylon”; we have just reinvented it. At the heart of “ancient Babylon” is what is known as “Mystery Babylon,” (which is an occult economic, political, and religious system ruled by an elite). In ancient Egypt, this was known as the “Pharaoh-god-king system”, where the masses, (including the children of Israel), were forced to work as slaves in this “world system.”

Today, Mankind is once again faced with becoming enslaved in a global feudal state, ruled by an “elite”, who promise counterfeit immortality, and paradise on Earth. The only other alternative is the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, to Planet Earth.

Most people in our world today do not believe in a Second Coming. However, (as our present world descends into chaos), the time is coming when we will discover whether this Second Coming is a myth or not.

REPORT: PLANNED PARENTHOOD DOCTOR ADMITS TO SELLING ABORTED BABY BODY PARTS

Director of LA chapter admits on film to selling hearts, livers and skulls harvested from babies killed

A disturbing hidden camera video out of Los Angeles features a Planned Parenthood clinician discussing the practice of selling the body parts of aborted babies in blatant violation of federal law.

In the video, part one of a 3-part documentary series from The Center for Medical Progress, Planned Parenthood Senior Director Dr. Deborah Nucatola explains to a male and female couple over lunch how the procedure goes down and which human organs are most popular.

“I’d say a lot of people want liver,” Dr. Nucatola says. “And for that reason, most providers will do this case under ultrasound guidance, so they’ll know where they’re putting their forceps. The kind of rate-limiting step of the procedure is calvarium. Calvarium—the head—is basically the biggest part.”

Dr. Nucatola nonchalantly describes that the “calvarium” fetches the highest price, and that prices for body parts generally range from $30 to $100, all while eating a salad.

“We’ve been very good at getting heart, lung, liver, because we know that, so I’m not gonna crush that part, I’m gonna basically crush below, I’m gonna crush above, and I’m gonna see if I can get it all intact,” the abortion doctor says.

“And with the calvarium, in general, some people will actually try to change the presentation so that it’s not vertex [head-first],” she continues. “So if you do it starting from the breech [feet-first] presentation, there’s dilation that happens as the case goes on, and often, the last step, you can evacuate an intact calvarium at the end.”

The video also reveals Dr. Nucatola is aware the practice of selling mutilated dead baby parts effectively violates a federal law which prohibits the sale of fetal tissue procured from partial birth abortions.

David Daleiden, the head of the non-profit Center for Medical Progress, says he’s floored by the admissions of criminal wrongdoing his team captured:

“Planned Parenthood’s criminal conspiracy to make money off of aborted baby parts reaches to the very highest levels of their organization,” Daleiden said, according to LifeNews.com. “Elected officials must listen to the public outcry for Planned Parenthood to be held accountable to the law and for our tax dollars to stop underwriting this barbaric abortion business.”

Following the release of the organization’s damning exposé, several pro-life groups demanded Congress immediately launch an investigation into the practices Dr. Nucatola discusses in the video.

After admitting to criminal wrongdoing on film, Dr. Nucatola deleted her Twitter account within 1.5 hours of the video’s release.

So-Called Haunted Dolls The Hot New Collectors Items

For some people, it's not enough for a doll to talk, walk or wet itself -- it also has to be possessed.

It seems sales of haunted dolls are making a killing on eBay, such as one listing for a "nasty perverse possessed doll" that attracted a final bid of $1,526, according to Vice.com.

The original eBay ad claimed that the doll gave off nasty vibes and was sexually abusive to the other dolls in the owner's collection.

Amazingly, claims like that are selling points to haunted doll collectors, according to Jak Hutchcraft, who wrote the Vice.com piece.

"Some people want to connect solely with the spirit," Hutchcraft told NPR.org. "Some people buy them just for the doll because they're doll collectors and the spirited aspect of it is just a secondary thing. I thought it was baffling, really, because I can look past the ghost as long as it's a cute doll."

Katrin Reedik, a haunted doll lover in Glasgow, Scotland, has 22 so-called haunted dolls, and says they are a great way for people to connect with their own "mediumistic skills."

"When you own a spirited doll or item, you can do sessions in your own home whenever you want," Reedik told Supernatural Magazine. "They can be companions, friends and teachers. They can teach you a lot about death, afterlife and more. One day you may discover your mediumistic skills as a result of connecting with spirit dolls."

Reedik purchased her first haunted doll, Mystical, back in 2010 for around $15. The doll wasn't advertised as possessed, but she said she quickly figured that out in fact was.

"When she arrived I realized straight away she was not a doll, she was a person," Reedik told the Daily Mail. "That night I put her near the television I told her: 'If you're happy switch it off, if you are not happy leave it.'"

"The response was terrifying," she said. "The TV switched off and on, the lights flickered and I knew it was Mystical talking to me through the electricity. She told me she was happy to have been adopted by me. I was overwhelmed and had to put her away."

Reedik claims she tried the same process a week later and that Mystical told her through the TV that she had died when she was 103.

The current eBay policy makes anyone selling an allegedly paranormal product put a disclaimer that the products are for entertainment purposes only.

How much entertainment value is a matter of personal opinion.

A current listing for a "cat goddess" doll named "Koshka" adds that the doll's spirit will only communicate with you if "you are one of the special cat whisper people."

The owner of another demonic doll, "Yulia," claims the buyer can expect things like the sound of screaming babies, thought interference, and poodles -- yes, like the dogs -- to manifest. She warns: "She is not caring of your feelings, she wants and she gets."

Haunted products have become such a hot enough commodity on eBay that one seller, The Haunted Store, felt obliged to offer tips to potential paranormal buyers, including these tidbits:

• Do not purchase any haunted items unless you are willing and able to deal with the consequences it may bring into your life.

• Never buy a haunted item without some sort of documentation with it.

• Be leery of sellers with mass amounts of haunted items. Even if someone claimed that they found 100 haunted dolls in an attic, it would still be doubtful that all 100 dolls were haunted.

The idea of owning a haunted doll may sound cool to audiences who've been raised on haunted doll characters like Chucky, but there is reason to be skeptical about the haunted claims.

Case in point: Anne McLaughlin told NPR that she once had a doll attached to a music doll that looked as if it stepped out of a New Orleans ghost story. The doll terrified McLaughlin, especially one night when it mysteriously crashed to the floor.

McLaughlin was convinced the doll was truly haunted and locked it away for years, until she finally got the courage to look at it closely.

McLaughlin said the music box attached to the doll was off-balance, which is probably the reason why the doll fell to the floor, not because it was possessed.

Ancient Mediterranean cultures thought nothing of splicing different animals together to form fantastical mythical beasts, such as the half-lion, half-goat chimera or the half-lion, half-eagle griffin.

Until now, however, ancient Britons were not credited with such imagination. That is all about to change following the discovery of a series of animal skeletons near Winterborne Kingston in Dorset, which raises the possibility that Britain’s ancient Celtic population had hybrid-animal monster myths similar to those of the ancient Greeks, Mesopotamians and Egyptians.

The bones, discovered in Dorset by archaeologists, appear to have been deliberately rearranged by Iron Age Britons in order to create hybrid beasts, half one creature and half another.

The Dorset ‘hybrids’ all discovered by archaeologists from Bournemouth University, include:

• A cow which, after probable sacrificial death, had had its own legs removed and deliberately replaced by four horse’s legs.

• A sacrificed sheep with two heads – its own somewhat fragmentary one and, protruding from its hind end, that of a bull.

• A horse with a cow’s horn protruding from its forehead – with the horn pointing inwards.

• A cow’s upper leg bone with a horse’s hoof.

As well as these potential hybrid-style skeletal re-arrangement, the archaeologists – led by Bournemouth University prehistorians Miles Russell and Paul Cheetham – have discovered a series of ‘mix and match’ pairings of different animals and animal parts.

They have so far found two examples in which a jawless cow skull had been deliberately paired with a horse’s lower jaw. Another find was a complete dog with three cow lower jaws radiating from it.

One particularly bizarre arrangement of animal bones also involved a human skeleton. A young woman appears to have been sacrificed (there was an indication that her throat had probably been slit) – and was then buried on a ‘bed’ of specially arranged cattle, sheep, dog and horse bones. Significantly these animal bones had been deliberately sorted to mirror the bones of the dead woman. The animals’ skull fragments formed the surface her head rested on, while the animals’ leg bones formed the surface her legs rested on.

Archaeologists are now planning to analyse evidence from other sites in Britain and Western Europe and from Celtic mythology to try to understand what all the discoveries at the Dorset site might reveal about British Iron Age belief systems.

Other ritual burials of animals discovered at the site include five additional horse heads, 15 more cow heads, three complete pigs and three more complete dogs.

Most of the ‘hybrid-style’, ‘mix-and-match’ and other sacrificed animals at the site were found in disused storage pits under the entranceways to Iron Age houses on the site. It’s likely that all the sacrifices were made in the late first century BC when the settlement was being gradually abandoned. They appear to have been part of decommissioning rituals, probably carried out at the moment a house ceased to be lived in.

By excavating part of the site and by carrying out a geophysical survey (equivalent to ‘x-raying’ the ground), the archaeologists have concluded that the settlement consisted of 150-200 houses and that it flourished from around 100 BC to approximately 10 BC . The inhabitants were probably members of an early version of ancient Dorset’s Durotriges tribe.

As well as the sacrificed animals and the settlements’ many round houses, the archaeologists have also discovered evidence of Iron Age industrial activity – metal working (including iron, lead and copper smelting), pottery making and textile manufacturing.

“The discoveries are helping to transform our understanding of key aspects of Late Iron Age Britain – the type of society that existed just a couple of generations before the Roman conquest,” said Dr. Miles Russell, the Bournemouth University archaeologist who has been co-directing the excavation.

“Our investigations at the site suggest that life there was peaceful and prosperous. Although the settlement was relatively large, there appears to have been no defensive palisade or ramparts.

“The sacrifice of so many animals and the unusual treatment of their bones is likely to shed totally new light on Iron Age belief systems – and may suggest that the Ancient Britons had beliefs or mythologies which involved hybredized animals, just as the ancient Greeks had”.

The public will get a rare chance to see the excavation this Sunday 12 July, when the 32,000 sq m archaeological site, at North West Farm near Winterborne Kingston, Dorset – is opened from 10 am to 4pm.

Deal Struck Following Total Capitulation By Tsipras: Market Awaits Greek Reaction To Draconian Deal Terms

Last night, when we concluded our overnight summary state of affairs we said that "we expect some resolution around first light this morning, and while another Greek can kicking and some last-moment "hope" is surely in the cards, we know two things: Greece is officially finished - there is no way the Tsipras or any other government can politically recover after such a humiliating spectacle when half of Europe made a mockery of the Greek people; and perhaps better, we finally have seen the true face of Europe: visible only when things are finally falling apart."

Sure enough, just around 9am CET, after a 17-hour mammoth all-night session, Greece did manage to cobble together a "deal" if one may call this latest embarrassing can-kicking that, which was nothing short of total capitulation by Tsipras: a prime minister who 8 days ago was victorious cheering the passage of a referendum that rejected a far less draconian deal.

As part of the deal, Greece "surrendered to European demands for immediate action to qualify for up to 86 billion euros ($95 billion) of aid Greece needs to stay in the euro" as Bloomberg politely put it.

We would put it as follows: Greece agreed, at the cost of ceding its sovereignty to Europe, to allow the Troika to repay itself. Even Greek prime minister Tsipras admitted as much saying "Greece will fight to return to growth and to reclaim its lost sovereignty." He started the "fight" by being brave enough to put up a smile for the reporters.

Worse, there is no actual deal term sheet on the table: while the summit agreement averted a worst-case outcome for Greece, it only established the basis for negotiations on an aid package, which would also include €25 billion euros to recapitalize its weakened financial system, money which would come from Greek asset sales.

The politicians were greatly relieved, perhaps most of all to be finally able to go to bed. Here is the statement by Euro president Donald Tusk:

Good morning. Today, we had only one objective: to reach an agreement. After 17 hours of negotiations, we have finally reached it. One can say that we have 'agreekment'. Leaders have agreed in principle that they are ready to start negotiations on an ESM programme, which in other words means continued support for Greece.

There are strict conditions to be met. The approval of several national parliaments, including the Greek parliament, is now needed for negotiations on an ESM programme to formally begin.

Nevertheless, the decision gives Greece a chance to get back on track with the support of European partners. It also avoids the social, economic and political consequences that a negative outcome would have brought. I welcome the progress and the constructive position of Greece that helps to bring back trust among euro zone partners.

Following national procedures, the Eurogroup will work with the Institutions to swiftly take forward the negotiations. Finance ministers will also as a matter of urgency discuss how to help Greece meet her financial needs in the short term, so-called bridge-financing.

I would like to thank the President of the Commission Jean-Claude Juncker and the Eurogroup President Jeroen Dijsselbloem for their dedication and involvement in this progress. Without your work, today's agreement wouldn't be possible. Thank you.

One wonders just how effective leaders of a multi-trillion political and monetary block are at cobbling together deals at 4 am in the morning, when the biggest motivators is just to get a deal signed.

The terms of the deal are largely as had been agreed upon by the finance ministers previously, and contain numerous draconian clauses which make the much-hated "memorandum" from the second bailout tame in comparison. Furthermore, Greece also capitulated on the IMF remaining as a key part of the deal, as well as the formation of a €50 billion "escrow" fund which would receive proceeds from the liquidation of Greece assets, and where the first €25 billion of capital would be used to bailout the insolvent Greek banking system.

According to Reuters, "Tsipras finally accepted a compromise on German-led demands for the sequestration of Greek state assets worth 50 billion euros - including recapitalized banks - in a trust fund beyond government reach, to be sold off primarily to pay down debt. In a gesture to Greece, some 12.5 billion euros of the proceeds would go to investment in Greece, Merkel said. The Greek leader had to drop his resistance to a full role for the International Monetary Fund in a proposed 86 billion euro bailout, which Merkel has declared essential to win parliamentary backing in Berlin."

Perhaps the toughest condition for Tsipras to swallow was Germany's insistence that Greek state assets worth up to 50 billion euros be placed in a trust fund beyond government reach to be sold off with proceeds going directly to pay down debt.

Berlin initially wanted to use a structure in Luxembourg managed by its own national development bank, KfW, but diplomats said it was flexible on the location.

One diplomat said that was tantamount to turning Greece into a "German protectorate", stripping it of more sovereignty.

But Merkel declared the matter a "red line" for Germany.

Bloomberg adds that "the agreement shifts the spotlight to the parliament in Athens, where lawmakers from Tsipras’s Syriza party mutinied when he sought their endorsement two days ago for spending cuts, pensions savings and tax increases. They have until Wednesday to pass into law key creditor demands, including streamling value-added taxes, broadening the tax base to increase revenue and curbing pension costs."

The agreement cobbled together in the last minute "was billed as its last chance to stay in the euro... with Greece running out of money and its banks shut the past two weeks."

The hope is that now that Greece may have a deal in place, the ECB will open up some ELA taps and allow Greeks to withdraw some more of their €120 billion or so of hijacked deposits. Assuming, of course, the Greek parliament passes the deal.

The politician comments were split as per the pre-bailout posture with many of the northern European nations less than thrilled:

First it was Merkel who said thatt "trust has to be rebuilt, the Greek authorities have to take on responsibility for what they agreed to politically here. It reflects the basic principles which we’ve followed in rescuing the euro. It now hinges on step-by-step implementation of what we agreed tonight."

Then it was Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte's turn to talk to reporters saying that "only after the Greek parliament agrees

with all the measures that have been decided this week, is there a base to reopen negotiations for the ESM program, which could take weeks. The Greek proposals of two days ago were insufficient. They needed to take measures, which they can translate into actions. The current measures are fierce, but necessary to heal the Greek economy and government." Rutte added that he is unhappy with the fact that he has to break electoral promise to Dutch constituents on no further Greece aid "This summit was about the position of Greece in the euro zone, but it was also about the credibility of our coin, the euro."

Tsirpas naturally tried to spin the total capitulation as at least some victory: "Greece will be able to stand on its own feet with agreement reached at EU summit, Greek PM Alexis Tsipras says in statement broadcast live on state-run ERT TV. Agreement with creditors “tough”, averted transfer of Greek assets abroad. Greece will keep fighting to return to growth. Greece has sent message of democracy, dignity across Europe. Measures included in the deal will inevitably cause recession to Greek economy. Agreement with creditors will put Grexit talks in the past."

Well not really: only until the next government comes in power promising to undo the current memorandum just as Tsipras did.

But the punchline came from Malta's Prime Minister Muscat who said that "The Greek government has accepted practically everything... It accepted all the crucial and important points.”

Some more details: the conditions that Tsipras swallowed comprised a laundry list of unfinished business from Greece’s two previous bailouts and a new demand for the government to transfer 50 billion euros of state assets to a holding company that will seek to either sell or generate cash from them. His creditors rejected Tsipras’s pleas for a cut in the face value of Greek debt of about 310 billion euros.

And now comes the hard part: convincing both Greece, the Euroskeptics, and the market (after kneejerking higher the EUR is now down on the session), that the deal is viable.

Calling that vote “has turned into one of the most expensive economic policy mistakes in the European Union for a long time,” Holger Schmieding, chief economist at Berenberg Bank in London, said in a note to clients Monday. “The much bigger sums which creditors now need to offer and the tougher conditions Greece now has to meet make it harder for both sides to deliver on the bargain.”

Rabobank adds that "implementation of Greece deal will remain subject to “considerable” risk given domestic political backdrop, Rabobank strategists write in client note. New governing arrangement likely necessary after Greek govt’s volte-face in accepting deal and clearly flouting result of July 5 referendum. A new unity govt or an early election very possible. Further deteriorating macro backdrop raises odds that disappointing economic performance will drive Greece’s debt metrics to rapidly unwind benefits from any debt relief." Rabo adds thatt Greece’s influence on mkts will remain limited, as long as any missed targets and delayed reforms occur within context of a bailout agreement.

It concludes that sustainability of Greece’s public debt likely to remain a threat in longer term. Which is true considering Greek debt/GDP is about to surpass 200%.

In fact, the sellside consensus is clear: Greece was "comprehensively routed" by German. Quote Demetrios Efstathiou of ICBC Standard Bank (via the Guardian):

• Tsipras had to concede on almost every point; Merkel comes out as a winner, and should be able to get the deal though the German parliament.

• Germany’s extremely tough position would serve as a warning to other Eurozone nations. There are arguments that she even pushed too far.

• Varoufakis may have gambled, Tsipras and Syriza may have lost, but Greece may be the ultimate winner - Greece has a golden opportunity to implement in record time the drastic reforms that it desperately needed and which successive governments have been unwilling to commit to.

• The formation of a national unity or special purpose government to pass the reforms in the tight time-frame is now required. Elections would have to follow at a later stage.

• The debate will now move on to the reaction of the Greek people. There is no easy answer. Only time will tell. The way I see it is that the Greek people will be relieved to see their banks reopen, their pensions and savings to be still denominated in euros, and the tourist season not destroyed. They should also be celebrating the implementation of structural reforms, but I doubt that.

• Greece must now push through parliament, by Wednesday, July 15th, a series of legislations that include the streamlining of the VAT system, and pension measures.

ADM's Marc Ostwald also agrees that the measures in this bailout package are “infinitesimally worse” than the ones turned down in last Sunday’s referendum. He adds that what is on the table as a deal highlights that: a) there is no long-term future for the Eurozone; b) the desire on the part of Eurozone creditor nations to completely destroy the Greek economy - it can certainly be asserted that this is indeed a worse deal than the 1919 Treaty of Versailles.

This is how he views next steps:

• Tsipras will have to form a new government of national unity as soon as he gets back to Athens

• By Wednesday 15th, Greece will have to pass laws including simplifying VAT rates, and applying VAT on a wider basis, cutbacks on pensions, and making its statistics agency independent.

• Once these have been passed, ESM bail-out parliamentary process can commence, and this will require parliaments in Finland, Germany, Austria, Netherlands, Slovakia and Estonia to approve starting ESM talks

• The Greek parliament will then have to rush through further laws to attain brige financing to pay the ECB on July 20th.

Others, such as Joerg Kraemer, chief economist at Commerzbank, sees elections as imminent, saying Greek parliament will presumably pass the required reform laws partly with votes from big opposition parties; Tsipras will find no majority of his own in parliament and new elections are likely after a possible agreement on 3rd bailout program. In other words, a new Greek political party is set to take over with promises of undoing what Tsipras just "achieved."

• Heads of state and government kicked the ball back to Athens as the country has to pass numerous and unexpectedly tough reform laws before talks about 3rd bailout program can start

• Eurogroup will clarify how Greek government is to be financed until 3rd bailout program enters into effect

• As long as negotiations are ongoing and not officially declared to have failed, ECB will probably keep ELA ceiling for Greek banks stable; may even raise it if Greek banks are about to become illiquid

Most importantly, as we said yesterday, the Summit over weekend has shown once again how deeply divided euro zone is politically.

But the most damning assessment of the capitulation came from Greece itself aftter Minister of Labor Panos Skourletis said in interview with state-run ERT-TV that "Greek snap elections aren’t possible at this stage, due to country’s economic situation, but will be needed this year as there’s “an issue,” with the govt’s parliamentary majority."

He adds that the agreement currently negotiated between Greece and its creditors isn’t viable, no one can say what will happen after a few months. "I can’t see how we can avoid elections in 2015, they are necessary. We have a government which has probably lost its parliamentary majority, which believes, says and supports the opposite things from what those that it is forced to implement, under the threat of a gun.

Nikos Filis, the parliamentary spokesman for Tsipras’s governing party, said that Greece had been “waterboarded” by euro-area leaders during the negotiations and accused Germany of “tearing Europe apart” for the third time in the past century. “#ThisIsACoup” became the most-trending Twitter hashtag in both Greece and Germany overnight.

Greece faces tough conditions under deal with euro zone

Euro zone leaders made Greece surrender much of its sovereignty to outside supervision on Monday in return for agreeing to talks on an 86 billion euros ($95 billion) bailout to keep the near-bankrupt country in the single currency.

The terms imposed by international lenders led by Germany in all-night talks at an emergency summit obliged leftist Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras to abandon promises of ending austerity and could fracture his government and cause an outcry in Greece.

"Clearly the Europe of austerity has won," Greece's Reform Minister George Katrougalos said.

"Either we are going to accept these draconian measures or it is the sudden death of our economy through the continuation of the closure of the banks. So it is an agreement that is practically forced upon us," he told BBC radio.

Greece however aims to reopen its banks on Thursday, bankers said. Facing a wave of withdrawals, the banks closed two weeks ago.

If the summit on Greece's third bailout had failed, Athens would have been staring into an economic abyss with its banks on the brink of collapse and the prospect of having to print a parallel currency and exit the euro.

"The agreement was laborious, but it has been concluded. There is no Grexit," European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker told a news conference after 17 hours of bargaining.

He dismissed suggestions that Tsipras had been humiliated even though the summit statement insisted repeatedly that Greece must now subject much of its public policy to prior agreement by bailout monitors.

"In this compromise, there are no winners and no losers," Juncker said. "I don't think the Greek people have been humiliated, nor that the other Europeans have lost face. It is a typical European arrangement."

Tsipras himself, elected five months ago to end five years of suffocating austerity, said he had "fought a tough battle" and "averted the plan for financial strangulation".

CONDITIONAL AGREEMENT

Greece won conditional agreement to receive a possible 86 billion euros ($95 billion) over three years. As part of the deal, euro zone finance ministers will discuss on Monday how to keep Greece financed during the time it will need to agree a bailout, but none of the options appear easy, officials said.

Athens must meet a tight timetable for enacting unpopular reforms of value added tax, pensions, budget cuts, bankruptcy rules and an EU banking law that could be used to make big depositors take losses.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said she could recommend "with full confidence" that the Bundestag authorize the opening of loan negotiations once the Greek parliament has approved the entire program and passed the first laws.

The Bundestag is due to vote on Greece on Friday.

Tsipras returned to Athens on Monday and was expected to meet aides and coalition partners. Facing a Wednesday deadline, he can put all the required measures in one parliamentary bill.

Merkel's allies meanwhile defended the deal, with her chief of staff, Peter Altmaier, saying Europe had won and Germany "was part of the solution -- from the beginning until the end!"

But in Greece, relief was mixed with anger at Germany. "Listen, it is some sort of victory but it is a pyrrhic victory because the measures are very strict," Marianna, 73, told Reuters.

Malta's Prime Minister Joseph Muscat said Greece had been “humiliated” - mostly as a result of its refusal to take an offer made to it two weeks ago.

Asked whether the tough conditions imposed on Greece were not similar to the 1919 Versailles treaty that forced crushing reparations on a defeated Germany after World War One, Merkel said: "I won't take part in historical comparisons, especially when I didn't make them myself."

The deterioration of the Greek economy since Tsipras won office in January, and particularly in the last two weeks, had led to a much higher financing need, she said.

One senior EU official put the cost to Greece of the last two weeks of turmoil at 25 to 30 billion euros. A euro zone diplomat said it might be closer to 50 billion euros.

STATE ASSETS

Tsipras accepted a compromise on German-led demands for the sequestration of Greek state assets worth 50 billion euros - including recapitalized banks - in a trust fund beyond government reach, to be sold off primarily to pay down debt. In a gesture to Greece, some 12.5 billion euros of the proceeds would go to investment in Greece, Merkel said.

The Greek leader had to drop his opposition to a full role for the International Monetary Fund in the next bailout, which Merkel had insisted on to win parliamentary backing in Berlin.

In a sign of how hard it may be for Tsipras to convince his own Syriza party to accept the deal, Labour Minister Panos Skourletis said the terms were unviable and would lead to new elections this year.

Six sweeping measures including spending cuts, tax hikes and pension reforms must be enacted by Wednesday night and the entire package endorsed by parliament before talks can start, the leaders decided.

In almost the only concession after imposing its tough terms on Tsipras, Germany dropped a proposal to make Greece take a "time-out" from the euro zone that many said resembled a forced ejection if it failed to meet the conditions.

Tsipras was subjected to a 17-hour browbeating by leaders furious that he had spurned their previous bailout offer on more favorable terms in June and held a referendum last week to reject it. Only France and Italy worked to try to soften the terms being imposed on Greece.

Some diplomats questioned whether it was feasible to rush the package through the Greek parliament in three days. Tsipras is set to sack ministers who did not support him and make dissident Syriza lawmakers resign their seats, people close to the government said.

Even if this week's rescue succeeds, EU diplomats question whether Greece will stay the course on a three-year program.

Euro zone finance ministers were tasked with finding sources of immediate bridge funding for Greece to prevent it defaulting on a key payment to the ECB next Monday.

Greece needs 7 billion euros of funding by July 20, when it must make a bond redemption to the ECB, and 12 billion euros by mid-August when another ECB payment falls due.

The ECB on Monday maintained emergency funding for Greek banks to keep them just afloat this week, a banking source said.

IMF stuns Europe with call for massive Greek debt relief

'There would have to be a very dramatic extension with grace periods of 30 years on the entire stock of European debt,' the fund says

The International Monetary Fund has set off a political earthquake in Europe, warning that Greece may need a full moratorium on debt payments for 30 years and perhaps even long-term subsidies to claw its way out of depression.

"The dramatic deterioration in debt sustainability points to the need for debt relief on a scale that would need to go well beyond what has been under consideration to date,” said the IMF in a confidential report.

Greek public debt will spiral to 200pc of GDP over the next two years, compared to 177pc in an earlier report on debt sustainability issued just two weeks ago.

The findings are explosive. The document amounts to a warning that the IMF will not take part in any EMU-led rescue package for Greece unless Germany and the EMU creditor powers finally agree to sweeping debt relief.

This vastly complicates the rescue deal agreed by eurozone leaders in marathon talks over the weekend since Germany insists that the bail-out cannot go ahead unless the IMF is involved.

The creditors were aware of the IMF’s report as early as Sunday, yet chose to sweep it under rug. Extracts were leaked to Reuters on Tuesday, forcing the matter into the open.

The EMU summit statement vaguely mentions “possible longer grace and payment periods”, but only at later date, and only if Greece is deemed to have complied with all the demands. Germany has ruled out a debt “haircut” altogether, claiming that it would violate Article 125 of the Lisbon Treaty.

The IMF said there is no conceivable chance that Greece will be able to tap private capital markets in the foreseeable future, leaving the country entirely dependent on rescue funding.

It claimed that capital controls and the shutdown of the Greek banking system had entirely changed the picture for debt dynamics, an implicit criticism of both the Greek government and the eurozone authorities for letting the political dispute get out of hand.

The decision by the European Central Bank to force the closure of the Greek banks two weeks ago by freezing emergency liquidity assistance (ELA), appears to have cost European taxpayers very large sums of money..

SB 792 would eliminate an adult’s right to exempt themselves from one, some, or all vaccines, a risk-laden medical procedure. This bill would make California the first state to require mandated vaccinations for all childcare workers, including all private and public school early childhood education programs (Headstart, Private preK and preschools), family daycares, and daycare centers.

Commencing September 1, 2016, a person shall not be employed at a family day care home if he or she has not been immunized against influenza, pertussis, and measles. An employee shall receive an influenza vaccination between August 1 and December 1 of each year.

This bill eliminates medical autonomy, crushes religious freedom, undermines personal freedom, and burdens quality providers with a non-optional series of medical interventions in the form of mandated vaccines that are not even 100% effective.

Bill SB 792 excerpt:

This bill, commencing September 1, 2016, would prohibit a day care center or a family day care home from employing any person who has not been immunized in accordance with the schedule for routine adult immunizations, prescribed by the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The bill would specify circumstances under which a person would be exempt from the immunization requirement, based on medical safety and current immunity, as specified. The bill would make conforming changes to provisions that set forth qualifications for day care center teachers and applicants for licensure as a family day care center. Because the bill would extend the application of a crime under the act, the bill would impose a state-mandated local program.

Why Oncologists Don’t Like Baking Soda Cancer Treatment

Even the most aggressive cancers which have metastasized have been reversed with baking soda cancer treatments. Although chemotherapy is toxic to all cells, it represents the only measure that oncologists employ in their practice to almost all cancer patients. In fact, 9 out of 10 cancer patients agree to chemotherapy first without investigating other less invasive options.

Doctors and pharmaceutical companies make money from it. That’s the only reason chemotherapy is still used. Not because it’s effective, decreases morbidity, mortality or diminishes any specific cancer rates. In fact, it does the opposite. Chemotherapy boosts cancer growth and long-term mortality rates and oncologists know it.

A few years ago, University of Arizona Cancer Center member Dr. Mark Pagel received a $2 million grant from the National Institutes of Health to study the effectiveness of personalized baking soda cancer treatment for breast cancer. Obviously there are people in the know who have understood that sodium bicarbonate, that same stuff that can save a person’s life in the emergency room in a heartbeat, is a primary cancer treatment option of the safest and most effective kind.

Studies have shown that dietary measures to boost bicarbonate levels can increase the pH of acidic tumors without upsetting the pH of the blood and healthy tissues. Animal models of human breast cancer show that oral sodium bicarbonate does indeed make tumors more alkaline and inhibit metastasis. Based on these studies, plus the fact that baking soda is safe and well tolerated, world renowned doctors such as Dr. Julian Whitaker have adopted successful cancer treatment protocols as part of an overall nutritional and immune support program for patients who are dealing with the disease. The Whitaker protocol uses 12 g (2 rounded teaspoons) of baking soda mixed in 2 cups water, along with a low-cal sweetener of your choice. (It’s quite salty tasting.) Sip this mixture over the course of an hour or two and repeat for a total of three times a day. One man claims he has found a cure for cancer using baking soda and molasses and actually successfully treated his own disease by using baking soda.

When taken orally with water, especially water with high magnesium content, and when used transdermally in medicinal baths, sodium bicarbonate becomes a first-line medicinal for the treatment of cancer, and also kidney disease, diabetes, influenza and even the common cold. It is also a powerful buffer against radiation exposure, so everyone should be up to speed on its use. Everybody’s physiology is under heavy nuclear attack from strong radioactive winds that are circling the northern hemisphere.

Dr. Robert J. Gillies and his colleagues have already demonstrated that pre-treatment of mice with baking soda results in the alkalinization of the area around tumors. The same researchers reported that bicarbonate increases tumor pH and also inhibits spontaneous metastases in mice with breast cancer.

What is Baking Soda?

Baking soda is a white crystalline solid that appears as fine powder. It is also called cooking soda, bread soda and bicarbonate of soda. Its chemical name is sodium bicarbonate or sodium hydrogen carbonate.

Baking soda is different from washing soda (sodium carbonate) although they share the same slightly salty and alkaline taste.

This widely used soda is commonly dissolved in mineral water and used as a leavening agent in baking. It works as a leavening agent by neutralizing the acidic components of batter. The neutralization releases carbon dioxide and leads to the “raising” or expansion of baked foods.

Baking soda has also been used to soften vegetable and to tenderize meat.

As a household chemical, baking soda is used as a cleaning agent. It is included in toothpastes for similar reasons where it serves as an antiseptic, acid-neutralizer, whitening agent and plaque-removing agent as well as a cleaning agent.

Other common personal hygiene products in which baking soda can be found include deodorants and shampoos.

Baking Soda and pH Medicine

The pH of our tissues and body fluids is crucial and central because it affects and mirrors the state of our health or our inner cleanliness. The closer the pH is to 7.35-7.45, the higher our level of health and wellbeing. Staying within this range dramatically increases our ability to resist acute illnesses like colds and flues as well as the onset of cancer and other diseases. Keeping our pH within a healthy range also involves necessary lifestyle and dietary changes that will protect us over the long term while the use of sodium bicarbonate gives us a jump-start toward increased alkalinity.

The pH scale is like a thermometer showing increases and decreases in the acid and alkaline content of fluids. Deviations above or below a 7.35-7.45 pH range in the tightly controlled blood can signal potentially serious and dangerous symptoms or states of disease. When the body can no longer effectively neutralize and eliminate the acids, it relocates them within the body’s extra-cellular fluids and connective tissue cells directly compromising cellular integrity. Conversely when the body becomes too alkaline from too much bicarbonate in the blood, metabolic alkalosis occurs, which can lead to severe consequences if not corrected quickly.

Jon Barron presents a way of looking at pH that opens up one of the major benefits of alkaline water:

Hydrogen ions tie up oxygen. That means that the more acid a liquid is, the less available the oxygen in it. Every cell in our body requires oxygen for life and to maintain optimum health. Combine that with what we know about hydrogen ions and we see that the more acid the blood (the lower its pH), the less oxygen is available for use by the cells. Without going into a discussion of the chemistry involved, just understand that it’s the same mechanism involved when acid rain “kills” a lake. The fish literally suffocate to death because the acid in the lake “binds up” all of the available oxygen. It’s not that the oxygen has gone anywhere; it’s just no longer available. Conversely, if you raise the pH of the lake (make it more alkaline), oxygen is now available and the lake comes back to life. Incidentally, it’s worth noting that cancer is related to an acid environment (lack of oxygen)–the higher the pH (the more oxygen present in the cells of the body), the harder it is for cancer to thrive.

Understanding this is important for two reasons: (1) it reveals one of the primary benefits of alkaline water–more “available” oxygen in the system and (2) it explains why alkaline water helps fight cancer.

How Baking Soda Can Help “Cure” Cancer

Basically, malignant tumors represent masses of rapidly growing cells. The rapid rate of growth experienced by these cells means that cellular metabolism also proceeds at very high rates.

Therefore, cancer cells are using a lot more carbohydrates and sugars to generate energy in the form of ATP (adenosine triphosphate).

However, some of the compounds formed from the energy production include lactic acid and pyruvic acid. Under normal circumstances, these compounds are cleared and utilized as soon as they are produced. But cancer cells are experiencing metabolism at a much faster rate. Therefore, these organic acid accumulate in the immediate environment of the tumor.

The high level of extracellular acidity around the tumor is one of the chief driving force behind the metastasis of cancer tumors.

Basically, cancer cells need an acidic environment to grow and spread rapidly.

Some cancer experts, therefore, believe that by buffering the tumor microenvironment with an alkalizing compound, the pH of tumors can be raised enough to starve them and stop their growth and spread.

Curiously, this rather simple solution to cancer has been proven right.

What is even more remarkable is that there is no need to cook up some fancy synthetic drug to lower the acidity in the immediate environment of the tumor. A simple, commonly obtained compound like sodium bicarbonate will do.

Obviously, it is desirable to deliver the sodium bicarbonate as close to the tumor as possible since its pH-raising effect is needed in the microenvironment of the tumor. Therefore, directly injecting sodium bicarbonate in the tumor site is considered a better solution than oral administration. However, oral sodium bicarbonate is just safer and can be readily used at home.

A 2009 study published in the journal, Cancer Research, is among the first to confirm that the alkalinizing effect of sodium bicarbonate can indeed stop cancer.

By injecting sodium bicarbonate into a group of mice, the authors of the study were able to determine how the growth and spread of cancer tumors were effected by raising the pH of the organ affected by the cancer.

The study results showed that baking soda indeed raised the pH and reduced spontaneous metastases in mice induced with breast cancer.

The researchers also determined that sodium bicarbonate works by raising the pH outside cells and not within cells. This is an important finding because it suggests that sodium bicarbonate does not interfere with cellular metabolism even as it makes the microenvironment unconducive for tumor growth.

Other findings from this study show that baking soda:

• Reduced the involvement of the lymph node on the transport of cancer cells

• Does not lower the levels of circulating tumor cells

• Reduced the involvement of the liver and, therefore, the spread of tumor cells to other organs

• Inhibit the colonization of other organs by circulating tumor cells

The Baking Soda Formula for Cancer

To make the baking soda natural cancer remedy at home, you need maple syrup, molasses or honey to go along with the baking soda.

In Dr. Sircus’ book, he documented how one patient used baking soda and blackstrap molasses to fight the prostate cancer that had metastasized to his bones. On the first day, the patient mixed 1 teaspoon of baking soda with 1 teaspoon of molasses in a cup of water.

He took this for another 3 days after which his saliva pH read 7.0 and his urine pH read 7.5.

Encouraged by these results, the patient took the solution 2 times on day 5 instead of once daily. And from day 6 – 10, he took 2 teaspoons each of baking soda and molasses twice daily.

By the 10th day, the patient’s pH had risen to 8.5 and the only side effects experienced were headaches and night sweat (similar to cesium therapy).

The next day, the patient had a bone scan and too other medical tests. His results showed that his PSA (prostate-specific antigen, the protein used to determine the severity of prostate enlargement and prostate cancer) level was down from 22.3 at the point of diagnosis to 0.1.

Another baking soda formula recommends mixing 90 teaspoons of maple syrup with 30 teaspoons of baking soda.

To do this, the maple syrup must be heated to become less viscous. Then the baking syrup is added and stirred for 5 minutes until it is fully dissolved.

This preparation should provide about 10-day worth of the baking soda remedy. 5 – 7 teaspoons per day is the recommended dose for cancer patients.

Care should be taken when using the baking soda remedy to treat cancer. This is because sustaining a high pH level can itself cause metabolic alkalosis and electrolyte imbalance. These can result in edema and also affect the heart and blood pressure.

One does not have to be a doctor to practice pH medicine. Every practitioner of the healing arts and every mother and father needs to understand how to use sodium bicarbonate. Bicarbonate deficiency is a real problem that deepens with age so it really does pay to understand and appreciate what baking soda is all about.
