Greetings! When His disciples asked Jesus, what would be the sign of His return, one of the points made in the well-known, prophetic, chapter, of Matthew 24, that he mentioned was; "Ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet." (Matthew 24:6)
As we look at the world today, it seems that there is war and strife breaking out in so many parts of the Globe. Here are just a smattering of headlines from the last few days. There are literally thousands of such headlines from newspapers around the world.

We, of course know where all this is going to eventually lead, Armageddon. Jesus said that it would get so bad that; "Except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened."(Matthew 24:22)
King David expressed his opinion of war in the book of Psalms; "My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace. I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war." War is perpetrated by the rich and elite using propaganda to get the poor to give their lives to do their bidding. "Scatter thou the people that delight in war." (Psa.120:6-7 and Psa. 68:30)
Eventually the time will come when; "He shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more." (Micah 4:3) The Prince of Peace, Jesus, shall rule. (Isaiah 9:6)

In fact, this discussion would be incomplete without a look at the workings of modern physics and the advanced concepts of physicists. Daily, they are challenging our view of reality. Their mathematical theories are backed by research in laboratories all over the world. They now dream of time travel and interdimensional excursions.
They are able to smash atoms at increasing levels of energy. Doing this, they are able to see tiny particles spinning away from atomic collisions. Their patterns are clues to the building-blocks and "mortar" that give matter its characteristic solidity. The deeper they look, the more they see that matter is really an arrangement of energy at different levels. It has long been known that in even the most dense of materials (lead or uranium, for example), there is more open space than solid matter. Energy is the central organizing factor of our universe. But time allows energy to be solidified and divided into suceeding numerical units that make it discernable in our physical world. (One second ... two seconds ... three seconds, and so on.)
Time, said Einstein, is variable, and changes with speed, particularly as one nears the speed of light. His famous "twin paradox" states that if one of a pair of twins boarded a spaceship and flew to a nearby star, then returned, he would be younger than his brother. This so-called "time dilation," he said, was a natural phenomenon within his theory of special relativity. Much of his thinking is now being tested in monstrous and complex research facilities, designed to accelerate matter to near light speed.
The world's largest atom smasher is located near Geneva, on the Swiss-French border. It is the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), a huge underground circular tunnel 17 miles in circumference and 300 feet below ground level. CERN consumes prodigious amounts of electrical power to produce collisions that range as high as 14 trillion electron volts.
Its building and maintenance has come at a cost of billions of dollars. Filled with an amazing array of complex generators, magnets and super-refrigerated tubes, its latest design has a stated purpose: to find the "God Particle," referred to in scientific jargon, as the Higgs boson.
This particle is believed by physicists to give mass to all other atomic particles. It is said to be the key to understanding the force that holds everything together. Theoreticians look to its discovery as the center of all contemporary research physics.
Atoms accelerated in CERN's giant circular tube almost reach the speed of light, orbiting until they are directed to collide with each other. Thus, time and matter are being manipulated, using the maximum focus of energy that man can produce.
The student of the Bible will quickly realize that this scientific quest is remarkably foreseen in the descriptions of events and material states that one finds in Scripture. For example, science teaches that the universe had a beginning. With their "Big Bang" theory, secular physicists agree with the Bible, which also speaks of an origination point: "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth" (Gen. 1:1).
A theoretical explosion is the "scientific" explanation for God. Particle physics promises secular man a way to reach out and touch Him.
A beginning suggests a timeline, projected forward into the present, and onward into the future. Certainly, one can imagine a timeline, projected infinitely toward both past and future. But that is not what the Bible says. It depicts a definite starting point. In the New Testament, the idea is restated and embellished upon:
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
"The same was in the beginning with God.
"All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made" (Jn. 1:1-3).
The mystical musings of ancient sages and philosophers and mathematicians shape the perception of what we commonly call "reality." As though time were the enemy, they dream of some "Nirvana," where they can blissfully merge with timelessness.
But the Bible, in its take-it-or-leave-it manner, simply defines the truth. God, who spoke all things into existence, also spoke time into existence. From his omniscient perspective, He introduces objective reason. He is the great "I am," that is, the one who always is.
Yet, at a certain point, He created time, and a prophetic progression that moves toward a totally renewed creation. It seems that the current timeline will come to an appropriate close. Something new comes after that:
"For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind" (Is. 65:17).

Scientists Detect Earth-Equivalent Amount of Water Within the Moon
ScienceDaily (May 26, 2011) -- There is water inside the moon -- so much, in fact, that in some places it rivals the amount of water found within Earth.
The finding from a scientific team including Brown University comes from the first-ever measurements of water in lunar melt inclusions. Those measurements show that some parts of the lunar mantle have as much water as Earth's upper mantle.
Lunar melt inclusions are tiny globules of molten rock trapped within crystals that are found in volcanic glass deposits formed during explosive eruptions. The new finding, published this week in Science Express, shows lunar magma water contents 100 times higher than previous studies have suggested.
The result is the culmination of years of investigation by the team searching for water and other volatiles in volcanic glasses returned by NASA Apollo missions in the late 1960s and early 1970s. In a paper in Nature in 2008, the same team led by Alberto Saal, associate professor of geological sciences at Brown, reported the first evidence for the presence of water and used models to estimate how much water was originally in the magmas before eruption.
"The bottom line," said Saal, an author on the Science Express paper and the principal investigator on the research grants, "is that in 2008, we said the primitive water content in the lunar magmas should be similar to the water content in lavas coming from the Earth's depleted upper mantle. Now, we have proven that is indeed the case."
The new finding got a critical assist from a Brown undergraduate student, Thomas Weinreich, who found the melt inclusions that allowed the team to measure the pre-eruption concentration of water in the magma and to estimate the amount of water in the Moon's interior. In a classic needle-in-the-haystack effort, Weinreich searched through thousands of grains from the famous high-titanium "orange soil" discovered by astronaut Harrison Schmitt during the Apollo 17 mission before finding ten that included melt inclusions.
"It just looks like a clear sample with some black specks in it," said Weinreich, the second author on the paper.
Compared with meteorites, Earth and the other inner planets of our solar system contain relatively low amounts of water and volatile elements, which were not abundant in the inner solar system during planet formation. The even lower quantities of these volatile elements found on the Moon has long been claimed as evidence that it must have formed following a high-temperature, catastrophic giant impact. But this new research shows that aspects of this theory must be reevaluated.
"Water plays a critical role in determining the tectonic behavior of planetary surfaces, the melting point of planetary interiors and the location and eruptive style of planetary volcanoes," said Erik Hauri, a geochemist with the Carnegie Institution of Washington and lead author of the study. "We can conceive of no sample type that would be more important to return to Earth than these volcanic glass samples ejected by explosive volcanism, which have been mapped not only on the moon but throughout the inner solar system."
The research team measured the water content in the inclusions using a state-of-the-art NanoSIMS 50L ion microprobe.
"In contrast to most volcanic deposits, the melt inclusions are encased in crystals that prevent the escape of water and other 
volatiles during eruption. These samples provide the best window we have on the amount of water in the interior of the Moon," said James Van Orman of Case Western Reserve University, a member of the science team.
The study also puts a new twist on the origin of water ice detected in craters at the lunar poles by several recent NASA missions. The ice has been attributed to comet and meteor impacts, but it is possible some of this ice could have come from the water released by eruption of lunar magmas.
Malcolm Rutherford, professor emeritus in geological sciences at Brown, also contributed to the paper. The NASA LASER and Cosmochemistry programs funded the research, with additional support provided by the NASA Lunar Science Institute (NLSI) and the NASA Astrobiology Institute.

Iran's Ahmadinejad on 12th Imam : Doomsday Mahdi's Return June 5, 2011
Increasing tensions between Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad intensified when hardline clerics exerted pressure on Ahmadinejad to obey the supreme leader as the ultimate authority. Those tensions were exacerbated with the arrest of over 25 of Ahmadinejad's associates and loyalists, along with a high-level member of his inner circle. Supporters of the supreme leader are referring to Ahmadinejad's group as "The Deviant Movement."
This "group" has announced that within the upcoming weeks a monumental event will turn the tide to their advantage.
- Based on a report from Iran's Ayandeh, one of the officials within "The Deviant Movement" has informed his confidants that certain sources close to the "Mahdi's Emergence Movement" have stated that an important event will soon change the course of operations to Ahmadinejad's favor. According to interpretations offered by Ahmadinejad's team, a high-ranking member of the Islamic Republic will meet with a climactic incident. This in turn will build up to the announcement of the "covert emergence" of the Twelfth Imam (or Mahdi) in Medina, Saudi Arabia.
Hardliners critical of Ahmadinejad maintain that his team believes a covert emergence will commence on the 14th of Khordaad (June 5) in Medina, setting the stage for the announcement of the actual emergence in the next few years.
Certain accounts have chronicled that prior to the official emergence of the Mahdi, he will appear covertly in Medina, and during a period of one to three years he will lay the foundations for the actual announcement of his appearance.
The Deviant Movement states that: "At the time of the covert emergence, his regent (i.e., the supreme leader) will be deposed from his position."
Previously, Ali Mottahari -- a pro-supreme leader member of the Islamic Parliament -- criticized Ahmadinejad:
Ahmadinejad believes that the covert emergence has, in fact, occurred. Therefore, he acts like he no longer needs the supreme leader and that he can disobey him, as he is taking his orders directly from the Mahdi himself.
Mehdi Khazali, son of Ayatollah Khazali -- an ally of Khamenei who has access to high-level authorities within the supreme leadership -- has noted on his website that the month of Khordaad (May 21 to June 21) will generate much chaos within the Iranian political strata. He has also expressed grave concern regarding the state of affairs and developments facing the Iranian people in the second half of the month.
He has added that there will be a bloody reckoning between Ahmadinejad's allies and the supreme leader -- that the "Godzilla" of power wants to destroy everything in sight. He emphasizes that there is no way to remedy the situation and that Godzilla will devour everything, big and small, in its path:
It is too late and there is no way out. All I can say is that I am sorry for you! And a great nation must not only be witness to the destruction of the haves and have-nots, but specifically, its entire existence.
Since Ahmadinejad's ascent to power, talk of the emergence of the Mahdi has increased. A number of hardliners, who are installed within the halls of the presidency, are attempting to utilize the Iranian and global situation to demonstrate the signs of the emergence of the Mahdi and to prove that the Rapture is imminent.
As I revealed recently, a secret Iranian documentary, The Coming is Upon Us, details the last condition for the reappearance as the destruction of Israel and the conquest of Jerusalem by Ahmadinejad. He has been portrayed as the mythical figure in centuries-old Hadiths, Shoeib-ebne Saleh, the Islamic commander who attacks Israel in the End of Times and creates the needed circumstances for the reappearance of the Shiite messiah, the 12th Imam Mahdi. -

Fukushima: How Many Chernobyls Is It?

(San Francisco) - The world's second big nuclear disaster occurred at Chernobyl Reactor No. 4 in the Ukraine on Apr 26, 1986. Simply tagged as "Chernobyl," it is what the next big and well known nuke disaster, after the American Three Mile Island, on March 28, 1979 came to be called. "Chernobyl" ejected 30% of one 192-ton, three-month old reactor core. That's 57.6 radioactive tons thrown into the air by fire and explosions.
The tiny radioactive and burning smoke particles have traveled around the world many times since 1979, killing an estimated one million people to date from radiation caused illnesses and cancers. This is according to Editor Dr Janette Sherman's exhaustive and widely acclaimed book on 5,000 Chernobyl scientific papers recently published by the New York Academy of Sciences [1].
Fukushima Daiichi Equals 50 Plus Chernobyls
As Dr. Michio Kaku, a world renowned CUNY theoretical physicist pointed out on CNN March 18, 2011, Chernobyl involved one reactor and only 57.6 Tons of the reactor core went into the atmosphere. In dramatic contrast, the Fukushima Daiichi disaster immediately involved six reactors and IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency, a UN Agency) documented 2,800 Tons of highly radioactive old reactor cores.

Simple division tells us there are at least 48.6 Chernobyls in the burning old reactor cores pumping fiery isotopes into the Earth's atmosphere. It is no stretch to say Fukushima Daiichi's six reactors and the dry holding pools for old reactor cores are equal to more than 50 Chernobyl disasters.
Further clarification is needed, of course, and it is being worked out now by independent physicists. Note that the lethality of radioactive reactor cores goes up the first 250,000 years they are out of the reactor - not down.
Looking at the current Japanese meltdown as more than 50 Chernobyls is just the start. In addition, the fate of the four nearby reactors at Fukushima Daini is as yet unknown by the outside world. Working at the nearby reactors, only 10 km (6 miles away) is a quick, painful death sentence. They are inside the mandatory evacuation zone.

Pro-life groups call for Pepsi boycott over aborted fetal cell lines

LARGO, Florida, May 26, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Scores of prolife groups are calling for a public boycott of food giant, PepsiCo, due to its partnership with Senomyx, a biotech company that uses aborted fetal cells in the research and development of artificial flavor enhancers.
LifeSiteNews previously reported on Senomyx's partnership with major food corporations, most notably PepsiCo, Kraft Foods, and Nestlé.
Pro-life watchdog group, Children of God for Life (CGL), is now joined by major pro-life organizations calling upon the public to target PepsiCo in a boycott.
Pepsi is funding the research and development, and paying royalties to Senomyx, which uses HEK-293 (human embryonic kidney cells) to produce flavor enhancers for Pepsi beverages.
"Using isolated human taste receptors we created proprietary taste receptor-based assay systems that provide a biochemical or electronic readout when a flavor ingredient interacts with the receptor," says the Senomyx website.
"What they do not tell the public is that they are using HEK 293 - human embryonic kidney cells taken from an electively aborted baby to produce those receptors," stated Debi Vinnedge, President for CGL, the watch dog group that has been monitoring the use of aborted fetal material in medical products and cosmetics for years.
The aborted fetal cells are not in the product itself. However, "there are many options PepsiCo could be using instead of aborted fetal cells," noted Vinnedge.
The revelation about Senomyx's research techniques motivated Campbell Soup to sever all relations with Senomyx.
However, PepsiCo continues their business relationship despite the abortion connection. They drew pubic ire earlier this year when they responded, saying, "our collaboration with Senomyx is strictly limited to creating lower-calorie, great-tasting beverages for consumers."
When pressed further, PepsiCo sent out a form letter response saying they had been accused of conducting aborted fetal tissue research.
Bradley Mattes, executive director of Life Issues Institute, said, "While aborted fetal cells aren't actually in the product itself, the close relationship is enough to repulse most consumers. To our knowledge, this is the first time a food product has been publicly associated with abortion."
The pro-life groups noted that additional companies collaborating with Senomyx will be targeted for boycott next.
The pro-life organizations are asking the public to boycott all Pepsi drink products and encourage consumers to contact Pepsi management requesting that they sever all ties with Senomyx.

The Bank of England's astonishing escape from the financial crisis

The reason such an inquiry might seem appropriate is that over the next few years the Bank acquires new powers and responsibilities that will make this 317-year-old institution arguably the most powerful authority in the land - more powerful in terms of its influence over the economy than the Chancellor himself.
It's a grand experiment in macroeconomic management the like of which has never been tried before. In addition to its existing powers to set interest rates and manage the money markets, the Bank of England will acquire responsibility not just for banking supervision but for controlling the credit cycle in the round - a function known as "macroprudential regulation".
Bankers will once more be forced to jump to attention before the Old Lady's command, while with a nod of the head the Bank's newly formed Financial Policy Committee - which meets for the first time on June 24 - will be able to adjust the supply of credit like water through a sluice. After 30 years in which the collective will of financial markets has dominated the commanding heights of the economy, the Bank is being put firmly back in the driving seat.
Given the calamities of the past four years, can the Bank be trusted with such all-embracing power? On the face of it, the record does not inspire confidence. Does it really make sense to be placing so much faith in an institution which many accuse of being asleep at the wheel as the biggest financial crisis in 100 years came crashing down on the economy?
Worried by the apparent lack of accountability, MPs on the Treasury Committee are belatedly holding a series of hearings into this central plank of the Coalition's financial reform agenda. The Bank's refusal to accept any degree of culpability in the crisis is already well known. But to general astonishment, it has emerged that there hasn't even been so much as an internal inquiry at the Bank as to what went wrong.

Crystal Cathedral to file bankruptcy exit plan

GARDEN GROVE, Calif. - The Southern California megachurch founded by one of the nation's pioneering televangelists, the Rev. Robert H. Schuller, on Friday filed a bankruptcy plan that would pull the Crystal Cathedral out of crushing debt by selling its sprawling campus and famous, glass-spired sanctuary to a local real estate investment group for $47 million.
The church would lease back most of its core buildings under the plan, which must be approved by a bankruptcy judge, so worshippers and visitors won't notice any changes in services or outreach. The church's popular, decades-old televangelist program "Hour of Power" broadcasts would also continue, the church said.
The plan would allow the ministry to lease the church buildings back for a guaranteed 15-year period, with the additional option of buying the core campus back at a fixed price within four years, said Marc Winthrop, the church's bankruptcy attorney.
The deal would erase the cathedral's $36 million mortgage and wipe out almost all of the $10 million in unsecured debt -- including $7.5 million owed to vendors -- that has plagued the Crystal Cathedral for several years after a disastrous leadership transition and a devastating slump in donations.
The ministry must be out of the Family Life Center, which houses administrative offices and a private school, within two years, the attorney said.
"The ministry is going to continue in the same place, in the same buildings," said Winthrop said. "It's just that we had to go through a financing transition to get rid of the debt."
A court hearing is set for July 13.
The plan specifies that the ministry will sell the property to the Orange County-based real estate investment firm Greenlaw Partners LLC, according to disclosures filed with the bankruptcy court. The property will be divided into up to five parcels and multi-family housing will be built on two parcels, with a parking lot on a third parcel.
The buyer has agreed to pay $46 million with an additional $900,000 set aside in escrow, according to court papers.
The charismatic Schuller got his start in Southern California preaching about the "power of positive thinking" from the roof of a concession stand at a drive-in theater as the car culture began to boom in the post-World War II era. He was considered a theological radical at the time, but people were soon driving from all over the Los Angeles area to sit in their cars and listen to Schuller preach through the movie loudspeakers that hooked to their windows.

There are a whole host of events that can bring the world as we know it today to its knees. From a hyperinflationary economic collapse to an electro magnetic pulse originating from the sun or a nuclear weapon , there exists a real and present danger that our system may, in the near future, experience unrecoverable shocks to the power grid and clean water infrastructure, a halt to just-in-time agricultural transportation systems and a collapse of the currency exchange mechanisms that make the economy function.
US Representative Roscoe Bartlett (R-MD), lived through the great depression, so he's seen how bad things can get. In a new documentary, Mr. Bartlett and others discuss the dangers posed to those living in cities and ways that your family can survive if the worst were to ever happen.

We could have events in the future where the power grid will go down and it's not, in any reasonable time, coming back up. For instance, if when the power grid went down some of our large transformers were destroyed, damaged beyond use, we don't make any of those in this country. They're made overseas and you order one and 18 months to two years later they will deliver it. Our power grid is very vulnerable. It's very much on edge. Our military knows that.
There are a number of events that could create a situation in the cities where civil unrest would be a very high probability. And, I think that those who can, and those who understand, need to take advantage of the opportunity when these winds of strife are not blowing to move their families out of the city.
We realize that for most people this may be decried as fear-mongering and crazy survival talk. We can't help but point out, however, that it's not just Representative Roscoe Bartlett, economist Marc Faber, and trend forecaster Gerald Celente that are recommending you prepare and head for rural areas. The US Pentagon and Military are very much aware of these possibilities and they're preparing for exactly the scenarios described in this documentary.
The threat is out there, and just because it hasn't happened in our modern-day society up until now doesn't mean it won't happen in the future. In fact, it has happened through history - strife, poverty, depression, economic collapse, war. You name it and somebody in history has lived it. The government spends hundreds of billions of dollars on emergency preparedness, disaster planning, continuity of government and war gaming these scenarios. There's a reason for that. We recommend our readers take a queue from them and others who are warning of these outlier possibilities.
If you do not already know the Prince of Peace (who will not only bring peace to this troubled world, but peace to your own heart ),you can get to know Him now. You will then be able to claim the promise that; "The peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."(Philippians 4:7)
In the days ahead you will need to know this peace. The Bible tells us that as times wax worse that; "Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken."(Luke 21:26)
Jesus said; "I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." (Revelation 3:20)
Jesus is standing at the door of your heart right now. He will not force His way in but is waiting patiently for you to open that door of your heart and invite Him to come in. All you need to do to receive Jesus, and His gift of eternal life is to pray a simple prayer, "Dear Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God who died to take away the sin of the world, I ask you to please forgive my sins, come into my heart, and give me eternal life, amen."
If you have prayed this prayer or a similar prayer, or at any time in your life, you do have eternal life which can never be lost.
