The above headline is actually a quote from Steve Quayle from the video True Legends, The Unholy See. Those ten words quickly cut to the proverbial bottom line and summarizes the big picture that we see developing in front of us today.
What is being referenced here is the largest of all pictures, not merely a portion of pixels that frequently consume the general populace. Analysis and commentaries of the current U.S. domestic political landscape are plentiful, as are analyses and reports on the global geopolitical situation. One must look much deeper, however, to gain a true understanding of not just what is taking place, but the motives behind it all. Only then and only from a wider and deeper perspective does it all begin to make sense.
Those who occupy the highest seats of power or perhaps better stated, those who possess the ability to influence, whether within our own government or in other countries, are pushing a very specific hidden agenda that is specifically designed to control and even guide the official narrative away from the truth. It is this same influence that has been busily revising history that is intended to support a seemingly bullet-proof albeit false conclusion; a conclusion that will forever change the political and religious landscape of the world as we know it.
Such discussion is usually limited to the pejoratively named alternative media, or otherwise considered too far out of the mainstream to be considered rational. We are told that such talk is only entertained by paranoid persons who are a few doses behind on their antipsychotic medication. Admittedly and sadly, that is too frequently true.
The above preface was necessary to provide a general overview of the current field of play for the countless numbers who are just beginning to wake up and see that everything is not what it appears. We seem to be at a critical moment in history on numerous fronts, from the political to the geopolitical. More people than ever before appear to be paying attention – at least those are not willing hostages to their personal electronic devices or otherwise intellectually victimized by the deliberate social engineering designed to keep our eyes off of the big picture.
So what is the big picture? What are we being prepared for on the largest of all scales? A great deception having as its objective the unification of mankind under a single system of governance, economy and religion. Obviously.
Before you dismiss the obvious as impossible or laugh at such prospects, especially considering the current worldwide animus among men and governments, different religions and their factions, I ask that you think bigger and beyond whatever you think (or have been told) is taking place. If that is the objective of those behind the agenda, what would be needed to convince mankind to abandon their lifelong beliefs and their understanding of history? Evidence, and plenty of it.
Evidence that is supported and made bullet-proof by science and history. Evidence that when it is introduced at trial, would be convincing enough to sway a unanimous verdict by a jury of your peers. Evidence that is able to withstand close scrutiny and aggressive cross-examination. Evidence that will convince the most skeptical of us. Evidence, however, that is manufactured from the most effective of lies and woven into an intricate tapestry of deception.
When presented, this evidence will be sufficient to convince most that much of what they have believed is a lie itself. For example, the tenets of all monotheistic religions will be “proven” incorrect based on iron-clad scientific findings literally supported by recent archaeological and celestial discoveries. Yes, there is a god but he or it is not exactly what we’ve been taught.
For Christians, there will be proof that Jesus did exist and did indeed walk the earth as memorialized in the Christian Bible, but there will be important caveats brought forth that will assail His divinity. The same corrupted evidence will impact Islam and Judaism. The disclosure of findings, whether emanating from the earth or the skies, and whether rooted in antiquity or exist more contemporaneously, will be authenticated by scientists and legitimized by religious leaders worldwide, deceiving, if possible, “the very elect.”
The most dangerous aspect of the coming deception is that many people of faith, particularly the Christian faith, will succumb to the lie. Those who do not succumb or conform will be outcasts, for the evidence will do much to point to their newly antiquated beliefs.
So how can we best prepare not to be deceived?
While the answers clearly exist in the Holy Bible, the evidence, in its true and uncorrupted form, exists both on earth and in the heavens. The best evidence is that which has not been contaminated or corrupted, or used to spin a false narrative. It is the evidence that when viewed through the Word of the one true God withstands the harshest of all tests. We must look at the evidence before the spin of man and the agenda of the globalists, who are busily and carefully working to convince an already gullible populace.
By exposing the evidence and further exposing the playbook of those who control it, we are now able to expose the lie. We are able to reveal not just the elements that will be deceptively introduced as evidence, but also uncover the methods employed by these masters of deception that will be used to deceive the multitudes.

The Coming Disclosure of Giants, Aliens and Creatures that Go Bump in the Night
Slowly and methodically, the masters of deception are preparing the public for a massive disclosure that will cause many to abandon their faith in God and succumb to a false religion based on discoveries confirmed by science and legitimized by religious leaders.
We see it in the headlines of today, where the Vatican is playing a significant role in changing the perspective of people so they will accept a doctrine of deception. NASA is also front and center on this orchestrated deception. World leaders and globalists, facilitated by the media are pushing a false and corrupt narrative.

The “giants” of Genesis, fallen angels, and other entities are not mere subject matter of fairy tales and grimoires, but are historical fact. Evidence that has been hidden by the curators beholden to the orchestrators of deception is now being exposed for all to see. Such evidence will not be found in the Smithsonian or its international counterparts, for they are controlling the narrative.The possibilities of advanced and more refined life forms existing in space will soon be linked to such antiquities and by validated by religious leaders to rewrite history and map out a dangerously demonic future.

In a lot of movies and TV that I have seen, the enemy is preparing the world. Remember, everything the devil does is an imitation of what Christ does, the devil has never thought up anything new. He simply imitates God's methods, he imitates his whole organization. He is the imitation saviour, the imitation messiah.
Christ's coming is literally going to be an invasion from outer space! If you had talked about stuff like this years ago and given it spiritual names, people would have ridiculed it. Because they've dressed it up in all this scientific paraphernalia and scientific atmosphere and with scientific logic--spaceships, extraterrestrial beings, superior beings from outer space and so on, people will believe it.
He (the devil) is making many of his spiritualistic approaches through scientific forms and media.
Invasion from outer space, what a way for the antichrist to arrive! Just like the second coming of Christ, to arrive like he was coming from outer space, like he was a superior being, a higher intelligence arriving from some other planet to solve the world's problems. What a way for him to come!
Imitate the coming of Christ and make it all sound scientific so the people would believe him. Most people will believe anything that smacks of science or sounds scientific. If it smacks of religion or spirituality or anything like that, many people will not accept it. If they can just make it sound and look scientific, then the people will receive him as a superior being who has come to help solve all these terrible problems we have, like a God.
He will be like a God to them, but he will try to put it in a plausible scientific form that people will believe. The antichrist will be sort of a scientific God, if you want to put it that way.
I wouldn't be a bit surprised if the antichrist, the devil incarnate, is going to stage some kind of phoney invasion from outer space. In a way, since that's the devil and his demons, the fallen angels, they are from outer space. but he is going to use human beings by possession, and is somehow going to capture this man, this human that he's going to use for the antichrist.

In Abortion Push, Soros Exposed Trying to Corrupt Christianity

For a self-proclaimed atheist, billionaire statist George Soros (shown) sure spends a lot of money on “Christian” causes and groups. But it is not because he is interested in spreading the Gospel, or even in helping the poor. Instead, hacked e-mails from his vast empire of shady tax-exempt foundations show that the radical “philanthropist” wants to change the views of Christians and churches around the world using deceit, manipulation, and money.
His goals in showering money on Christian groups and churches include, among other policy agendas, legalizing the slaughter of unborn children in pro-life nations, promoting what he calls “racial and economic justice,” ensnaring more nations in the European Union, pushing global governance and what he calls the “New World Order,” and even shifting “the priorities of the U.S. Catholic church.” One document on funding “Christian” schemes speaks of pursuing “structural transformation of political and economic systems.” And that is just what is known.
Critics of the deeply unpopular extremist, though, are warning churches and Christians to avoid Soros money like the plague. Indeed, many of the pseudo-Christian organizations receiving Soros largess are really Christian in name only. They seem to exist primarily to further extreme political, economic, and social agendas of Soros and his extremist allies — schemes that are fundamentally incompatible with Truth, Christian teachings, and morality more generally.
One leaked memo posted by DCLeaks.com from Soros’ “Open Society” Foundations, for example, outlines a plot to co-opt Catholic officials and push Soros' views within the Catholic Church and within the Christian world more broadly. To do that, Soros provided funding to two so-called faith-based organizations, PICO (People Improving Communities through Organizing), and Faith in Public Life (FPL) that would advance his extremism against a “faction of the church” that does not support it.
Among other schemes, Soros provided “essential resources” to secure the “buy-in of individual bishops to more publicly voice support of economic and racial justice messages.” The agenda was to create a “critical mass of bishops” to promote Soros' interpretation of Pope Francis' perceived anti-free-market activism and “racial justice agenda.” Numerous prominent Catholics have said Soros is radically distorting the pope's message to further his own fundamentally anti-Catholic agenda.
The same document also shows how Soros helped fund the formation of “partnerships” between the extremist pseudo-Christian groups, Big Labor (AFL, SEIU), and 11 alleged “faith groups.” The agenda, according to the memo, was “to mobilize 10,000 people to public action and train 3,500 others as messengers of Pope Francis’ economic and racial justice agenda [sic].”
The Soros money also supported “coordination of local PICO chapters to push for a range of state and local policy changes related to economic and racial justice.” And finally, Soros money was used to help create an advanced propaganda campaign to promote one of Soros' “Christian” puppets as a “leading commentator in high-profile outlets, such as USA Today, Newsweek, CNN, NBC, NPR, the Boston Globe, the Washington Post, and the Guardian.” Of course, if a “commentator” agrees with Soros, by definition he or she disagrees with the Christianity and the Bible.
The scheming was very successful in what the memo refers to as the “long-term project of shifting the priorities of the U.S. Catholic church.” It apparently helped foster anti-Republican sentiment, attacks against “anti-gay rhetoric” surrounding the Kim Davis saga (she was jailed by a federal judge for refusing to endorse homosexual “marriages”), and more. The money also helped the “Catholic” groups build support for Soros' extremist political agenda among naive Catholic communities that almost certainly had no idea the “Catholic groups” were being funded by an anti-Christian extremist like Soros.
Of course, Soros also has a long history of funding “pro-abortion Catholics” (an oxymoron!), including the “Catholics for Choice” (CFC) organization that openly opposes Catholic teaching on pre-natal infanticide. The wealthy protege of the even wealthier Rothschild banking dynasty also lavishes money on “Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good” (CACB), another fringe group that tries to promote Soros' anti-Catholic, statist extremism among Catholics.
On pro-life nations and protections for babies, Soros is on the war-path against Christian and Catholic teaching as well. One of the recently leaked documents from Soros’ “Open Society” Foundations shows the billionaire's minions plotting to use Ireland as a model for getting rid of laws protecting the lives of unborn children. In the cross-hairs are constitutional guarantees for the right to life of children — especially in predominately Catholic nations.
“With one of the most restrictive abortion laws in the world, a win there [in Ireland] could impact other strongly Catholic countries in Europe, such as Poland, and provide much needed proof that change is possible, even in highly conservative places,” explains one of the leaked the documents that has emerged in recent weeks. The plan: Eliminate the Eighth Amendment to Ireland's Constitution, which enshrined “the right to life of the unborn,” and thereby set off a domino effect that would bring down pro-life laws across Europe and the world.
While overturning Ireland's protections for babies would serve as a model for other nations, the recent successful assault on marriage in that nation would help Soros in the drive to legalize the murder of unborn children. “The recent legalisation of same-sex marriage offers valuable and timely opportunities to advance the campaign,” the Open Society Foundation document said. It was not immediately clear how large Soros' role was in re-defining — or un-defining — marriage there.
To advance the pro-abortion agenda in pro-life Ireland, the leaked strategy document outlines a plan to pour money into anti-life extremist groups such as Amnesty International Ireland, the Abortion Rights Campaign, and the Irish Family Planning Association. The same document, part of Soros' so-called “Women's Rights Program,” which is primarily focused on the alleged “right” to kill babies, also touts Soros backing for similar pro-abortion extremism across Latin America and Africa.
Irish supporters of unborn babies' right to life expressed shock, horror, and dismay at the news. “These revelations are extremely disturbing,” Cora Sherlock, deputy chairperson of the Irish Pro-Life Campaign, was quoted as saying by the Irish Independent. “The fact that an outside body is talking about funding and coordinating groups in Ireland to dismantle protection for the unborn child represents a gross interference and is an attack on democracy.”
In separate comments to the Catholic News Agency, Sherlock, suggested why Soros and his minions might be so obsessed with murdering babies in Ireland specifically. “It is not a surprise that international pro-abortion groups are trying to impose their agenda on Ireland,” she said. “Ireland’s excellent record of safety in pregnancy for women without recourse to abortion is a major source of embarrassment to abortion campaigners as it completely undermines their argument that abortion somehow helps women.”
It is not just Catholics and Catholic nations in Soros' cross-hairs, of course. Earlier this year, The New American reported on Soros machinations aimed at co-opting the Orthodox churches in the socially conservative Christian nation of Georgia. One of the main goals of Soros' machinations there was to “train” pastors in how to love the EU and promote it to their congregations. Taxpayer funding from Europe was also used to promote Soros' anti-Christian agenda in the churches.
Soros, often ridiculed as “Dr. Evil,” holds views that are way beyond the fringe of the fringe — and not just when it comes to Christian teachings. For example, he told the Financial Times some years ago that the brutal communist dictatorship enslaving mainland China, which has murdered more people than any government in human history and ruthlessly persecutes Christians, should “own” what he calls the “New World Order.” The savage dictatorship is also infamous for forced abortions.
As one of the richest men on the planet, Soros is said to have donated more than $10 billion promoting his extreme anti-Christian political, economic, and social ideology. His net worth last year was estimated by Forbes at close to $25 billion, making him one of the wealthiest 20 people in America. He is also a leading financier of Obama, Hillary Clinton, the orchestrated “refugee crisis,” revolutions around the world, the war on police, Black Lives Matter, Occupy Wall Street, globalism, and more.
No legitimate Christians, churches, or Christian organizations of any denomination should be taking Soros money. The Bible is clear when it calls on Christians to “have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.” Instead of doing Soros' bidding, then, Christians have an obligation to reprove him and his anti-Christian agenda.

“Mysticore” is the new norm: Inside the trend that’s casting its spell over the culture
Magic, mysticism and the occult are moving into the mainstream. Is it just a fad or a sign of spiritual crisis?

Welcome to the season of the witch. Recently, the Brooklyn Academy of Music hosted a Witches Brew film festival, which included the acclaimed new film “The Witch.” Lately it isn’t uncommon to see glossy magazines like Nylon with headlines that start “The Witches’ Guide to…”, while new publications like Sabat, an aesthetically driven magazine that explores contemporary witchcraft, are attracting attention from readers and design snobs alike.
Stores specializing in metaphysical sundries (think ritual candles, blended oils, sacred herbs) like Spellbound Sky and House of Intuition in Los Angeles, while not brand-new, are suddenly crowded. In Brooklyn, Witches of Bushwick has evolved from a venue on the underground party circuit to a social collective that celebrates witchcraft as a feminist art and collaborates with fashion companies like Chromat. Of course, for those who prefer whipping up potions at home, several new witch- and occult-themed subscription boxes deliver the magical arts to the doorstep.
Not just witches are enjoying a cultural renaissance, though. All manner of magic is in the air, as the New Age movement’s lighter granola-and-Zen fare has given way to the practice of a more modern mysticism, where conversations about conjuring, personal shamans and powerful potions can be intense as they are ubiquitous. While social media and feminism have brought witchcraft to the fore, the new kaleidoscopic array of spell casting, ritual observing (from pagan holidays to full moons) and crystal charging draws from traditional mysticism, magic and paganism. Served buffet style to an eager audience of open-minded converts, it’s shining a white light on everything from fashion and health to politics.
This may be the most prevalent, hidden-in-plain sight trend that you couldn’t quite put a finger on since “normcore.” Last fall the folks at trend-forecasting firm K-Hole — which coined the term “normcore” — looked into the cultural crystal ball to release a paper dubbed “A Report on Doubt.” Normcore, that infinitely hashtag-able trend that tapped into a “post-authenticity coolness that opts into sameness,” stood against style clichés and aggressive street-style peacocking — it promised freedom through assimilation. After an endless stream of articles about how wearing dad jeans was indeed the ultimate hipster power move, time had come for the cultural pendulum to swing. K-Hole’s new prediction was that logic and “sameness” were becoming relics and people were about to head into the mystic.
Call it post-reason or pro-intuition, this new phase rejects the positively beige normcore values in favor of highly personal, emotional responses to fashion, culture and politics. (Donald Trump’s rise certainly reads as more of a manifestation of personal desire than a reasonable course of action paved by logic and solid judgment.) Dubbing this new philosophy “Chaos Magic,” a term that’s been bantered about in the postmodern Magick community for decades), K-Hole prophesied, “The fundamental element of magic is the ability to manifest or sublimate things.”
Plus, K-Hole observed, “Chaos Magic lives in the same realm as the cult of positive thinking. But it goes beyond making mood boards of high end apartments you’d like to will into your possession. . . . You opt into whatever belief system you think will help you reach your intended goals.” Put simply, K-Hole’s version of Chaos Magic is the antidote to overthinking, a means of manifesting individual desires onto the universe — a “radical DIY.”
The report has been cited by Vogue, which found Chaos Magic in the personal imprints of designers like Nicolas Ghesquière (who penned a letter to accompany his debut Louis Vuitton show) and of Riccardo Tisci (who for Givenchy’s spring 2016 show brought in Marina Abramovic to craft a spiritual mood). Meanwhile, designer JW Anderson has evoked the trend more literally, sewing celestial symbols into his knitwear.

He was imprisoned 12 years for preaching without a license from the government. This was John Bunyan, who died Aug. 31, 1688.
Born in Bedford, England, John Bunyan was a poor, unskilled tinker by trade. In 1657, at age 29, he became a Baptist minister and was arrested for having religious meetings, being imprisoned 1660-1672 and 1675-1676.
John Bunyan wrote in “A Relation of My Imprisonment”: “The justice … issued out his warrant to take me … as if we that were to meet together … to do some fearful business, to the destruction of the country; when alas! the constable, when he came in, found us only with our Bibles in our hands, ready to speak and hear the word of God. … So I was taken and forced to depart. … But before I went away, I spake some few words of counsel and encouragement to the people, declaring to them … that they would not be discouraged, for it was a mercy to suffer upon so good account. … We suffer as Christians. … Better be the persecuted, than the persecutors.”
During his imprisonment, John Bunyan supported his family by making shoelaces. It was during this time that he began writing “The Pilgrim’s Progress”, eventually published in 1678.
It was an allegory of a pilgrim, named Christian, who fled from the City of Destruction and was directed by Evangelist to follow the straight and narrow path. He overcame temptations, depressions, deceptions, and persecutions till he reached the Celestial City of Zion.
The friends and dangers that Christian met along the way inspired many subsequent novels, such as:
Mark Twain’s “Innocents Abroad, or the New Pilgrim’s Progress” (1869)
C.S. Lewis’ “Pilgrim’s Regress” (1933)
L. Frank Baum’s “Wizard of Oz” (1900)
John Bunyan’s “The Pilgrim’s Progress” was translated into over 100 languages and, after the Bible, was the world’s best-seller for hundreds of years. It was found in nearly every colonial New England home, along with the Bible and Fox’s “Book of Martyrs.”
Ben Franklin wrote in his “Autobiography”: “From a child I was fond of reading, and all the little money that came into my hands was ever laid out in books. Pleased with ‘The Pilgrim’s Progress,’ my first collection was of John Bunyan’s works in separate little volumes. … ”
Franklin continued: “My old favorite author, Bunyan’s ‘Pilgrim’s Progress’ … has been translated into most of the languages of Europe, and suppose it has been more generally read than any other book, except perhaps the Bible.”
President Grover Cleveland had memorized “The Pilgrim’s Progress” as a youth, commenting: “I have always felt that my training as a minister’s son has been more valuable to me as a strengthening influence than any other incident in life.”
President Theodore Roosevelt stated while laying the cornerstone of the office building of the House of Representatives, April 14, 1906: “In Bunyan’s ‘Pilgrim’s Progress’ you may recall the description of the man with the muck-rake, the man who could look no way but downward, with the muck-rake in his hand, who was offered a celestial crown for his muck-rake, but who would neither look up nor regard the crown he was offered, but continued to rake to himself the filth of the floor.”
President Franklin D. Roosevelt wrote Jan. 19, 1936: “When Theodore Roosevelt died, the Secretary of his class at Harvard, in sending classmates a notice of his passing, added this quotation from ‘Pilgrim’s Progress’: ‘My sword I give to him that shall succeed me in my pilgrimage, and my courage and skill to him that can get it. My marks and scars I carry with me, to be a witness for me that I have fought His battles who now will be my rewarder.'”
President Bill Clinton remarked at the retirement of General Colin Powell in Arlington, Virginia, Sept. 30, 1993: “General Powell, I am reminded of the words of another young valiant warrior, spoken when, like you, he was finishing one journey and beginning a second. John Bunyan wrote in ‘Pilgrim’s Progress’ of the warrior valiant at the end of his life, as he prepared to present himself to the Almighty, ‘My sword I give to him that shall succeed me in my pilgrimage and my courage and skill to him that can get them. My marks and scars I carry with me to be a witness for me, to Him who shall be my rewarder.'”
President Ronald Reagan greeted Australia’s Prime Minister, June 30, 1981, referring to John Bunyan: “Robert Louis Stevenson wrote, ‘We are all travelers in what John Bunyan calls the wilderness of this world. And the best that we find in our travels is an honest friend – they keep us worthy of ourselves.”
John Bunyan’s “The Pilgrim’s Progress” began:
As I walked through the wilderness of this world, I lighted on a certain place where was a den, and I laid me down in that place to sleep: and, as I slept, I dreamed a dream.
I dreamed, and behold, I saw a man clothed with rags, standing in a certain place, with his face from his own house, a book in his hand, and a great burden upon his back.
I looked, and saw him open the book, and read therein; and, as he read, he wept, and trembled; and, not being able longer to contain, he brake out with a lamentable cry, saying, What shall I do?
Later in “The Pilgrim’s Progress,” John Bunyan wrote:
Christian ran thus till he came at a place somewhat ascending, and upon that place stood a cross. … So I saw in my dream, that just as Christian came up with the cross, his burden loosed from off his shoulders, and fell from off his back.
Further in “The Pilgrim’s Progress,” John Bunyan wrote:
Then said Christian, You make me afraid, but whither shall I fly to be safe? … To go back is nothing but death; to go forward is fear of death, and life-everlasting beyond it. The invasion of Syria that so many people have been warning about is now happening.
On Wednesday, Turkish tanks rolled across the Syrian border, and they were accompanied by radical Islamic Syrian rebels that want to ultimately overthrow the Assad regime. This invasion was conducted under the code name “Euphrates Shield”, and it was supported by airstrikes from A-10s and F-16s that are part of the U.S.-led coalition that has been conducting airstrikes against ISIS targets in the region. The mainstream media in the United States has been very quiet about this escalation of the conflict in Syria, but things are much different in the rest of the world. For example, a major Israeli news source announced the attack this way: “Turkey invades Syria“. And without a doubt, that is precisely what is taking place. The Syrian government denounced this move by Turkey as a “blatant breach to its sovereignty”, and the Russians are deeply alarmed. The farther Turkish forces push into northern Syria, the more likely they will be to encounter Syrian or Russian forces, and one bad move could result in the outbreak of World War 3 in the Middle East.
The fact that the U.S. media is treating this invasion of Syria as if it is of little importance is deeply disturbing. These days, the big news channels are obsessed with feeding us propaganda about how “healthy” Hillary Clinton is, or about how “racist” Donald Trump is, and they spend exceedingly little time on the things that really matter all over the globe.
Fortunately, it is not the same way around much of the rest of the planet. Here is an excerpt from a British news source about the Turkish attack…
“It is hard to anticipate whether Turkey’s unprecedented military incursion into Syria this week will change the dynamics of the multiple wars that have ravaged the region and put civilians through hell. If things already seemed complicated in the Middle East, they may have just become even more so. What started on Wednesday ranks as the largest Turkish military operation inside Syrian territory since the civil war began five years ago. A dozen tanks, reportedly followed by a bus transporting Syrian rebels, rolled into northern Syria to drive Islamic State forces from the town of Jarablus, one of their last footholds on the Turkish-Syrian border. Today Turkey sent more tanks in and told the YPG Kurdish armed group it had one week to retreat from the border areas.”
We are being told that the primary purpose of this Turkish invasion is “to fight ISIS”, but that is just for western consumption. The truth is that Turkey has actually been supporting ISIS and other terror groups in Syria for a very long time. In fact, it has been heavily documented that ISIS sold hundreds of millions of dollars worth of stolen oil through Turkey until the Russians put a stop to it.
No, the real motivation for this assault is to stop the advance of Kurdish forces. Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu recently promised that Turkey would “do what is necessary” to keep Kurdish fighters east of the Euphrates River, and even President Erdogan is admitting that the Kurds are primary targets in this operation…
“(Wednesday’s operation) started in the north of Syria against terror groups which constantly threaten our country, like (ISIS) and the PYD,” Erdogan said, referring to a Syrian Kurdish opposition political party.”
And U.S. officials know exactly what Erdogan is doing. Just check out what one of them told CNN…
“Another senior US official told CNN’s Barbara Starr the US assessment is that Turkey’s cross-border action is largely about trying to stop Kurdish action. “The Turks never cared about Jarablus until the Kurds wanted to get there,” the official said.”
So now the Turks have declared open season on the Kurds in northern Syria, and the Syrian Kurds are treating this move as “a declaration of war”…
“Spokesman for the YPG Kurdish militia, Redur Xelil, called Turkey’s move “blatant aggression in Syrian internal affairs.” Aldar Xelil, another influential Kurdish politician, accused Turkey of initiating an occupation of Syria, saying the operation amounted to “a declaration of war” on the autonomous administration set up by Kurdish groups in northern Syria in 2011.”
According to the Turkish government, Operation Euphrates Shield will “create a safe zone” that will be 90 kilometers long and 40 kilometers wide that stretches roughly from the town of Jarablus to the town of Marea.
That is a massive amount of territory, and this basically shows that the Turks plan to set up shop there permanently.
President Erdogan and his supporters have always dreamed of recreating the old Ottoman Empire, and they already have military forces occupying portions of northern Iraq. This move into northern Syria is yet another bold move in the direction of their ultimate goal.
But will the Russians just stand by and allow the Turks to do whatever they want?
So far the Russians are not saying much, but Vladimir Putin has ordered snap military drills…
“Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered snap military drills as German Chancellor Angela Merkel accused him of breaking international law in Ukraine and said NATO will defend member states against attack.
Combat readiness exercises are taking place “to defend the interests of the Russian Federation amid increasing threats to its security,” Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said Thursday in a statement on the ministry’s website. Troops in Russia’s southern, central and western military districts, naval deployments in the Black Sea and Caspian Sea, and airborne forces are involved, he said.”
The Russians don’t want to fight Turkish forces in Syria, but as they have shown in Crimea, in Ukraine and elsewhere, they are definitely not afraid to take military action when their interests require it.
And if Russia and Turkey do start fighting, that would threaten to drag the rest of NATO (including the United States) into the conflict.
Turkey has been chomping at the bit to start grabbing chunks of territory in northern Syria for quite some time now, but this invasion is going to turn out to be a tragic mistake.
President Erdogan has definitely overplayed his hand this time, and let us just hope that it doesn’t result in World War 3 erupting in the Middle East.

A strange and almost perfect circular island sits near the northeastern edge of Argentina, which is said to float on its own axis in the middle of a swampy marsh.
Called 'The Eye', this mysterious land is surrounded by a tiny channel of clear water and some believe it is camouflage for a massive alien base that lays quietly beneath the surface.
Now, a team of researchers and filmmakers have opened a Kickstarter campaign to help fund their investigation of these bizarre claims, with the hopes of uncovering the mystery of this remote island once and for all.

'The Eye' was spotted by a film crew six months, while they were searching for a place to shoot a documentary.
The plugged the coordinates 34°15'07.8'S 58°49'47.4"W and discovered an almost perfect spherical landmass floating in the middle of a tiny channel of water.
The team flew to the remote area in order to see the island for themselves.
'The Eye' is about 130 yards in diameter and floats on its own axis.
The surrounding channel of water is incredibly clear and cold - something totally unusual in the area.
And the land on the island is solid, which is very different from the surrounding swampy marsh.
The film crew has yet to state what 'The Eye' is but Scott C Waring from UFO Sightings Daily believes it is hiding an underwater alien base.
'We have discovered a mysterious island near the Parana river, which, intriguingly, moves and rotates on its own axis,' Richard Petroni, a hydraulic and civil engineer from New York who is involved in the project, said in a press release.
'Besides, it features a neat circular structure bordered by another perfectly circular streak of water.'
'It's something real and accounts for several supernatural stories bearing connections to UFOs and other paranormal aspects.'
Petroni has teamed up with Argentine film director & producer Sergio Neuspillerm, who made the discovery, as well as tech expert and founder of a telecommunications company, Pablo Martinez,for this journey.
'The Eye' can be found on Google Maps using the coordinates: 34°15'07.8'S 58°49'47.4"W.
It is located in the Parana Delta between the cities of Campana and Zarate in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The island was first spotted by the film crew six months ago when they were looking for a place to shoot a film covering other paranormal occurrences, such as ghost and alien sightings, in the area.
After the team plugged in the specific coordinates and saw the mysterious spherical landmass on the computer screen, they knew they had to see it with their own eyes.
'When locating this reference in the map we discovered something unexpected that left the film project in the background, we call it 'The Eye',' said Neuspillerm in a video.

The team trekked through the marshy surroundings, trying to find an entry point, but were unable to make their way to the island.
Finally, in their second attempt and after eight hours of hiking, they stumbled upon 'The Eye'.

This is the incredible moment a private helicopter pilot performs a jaw-dropping rescue of a stranded tourist – after the professional team could not complete the mission.
In an 'extreme and intense' manoeuvre heroic pilot Constantin Apăvăloaei saves a severely injured 44-year-old woman stuck 2000 metres up on the Carpathian Mountains.
Another walker on the Piatra Craiului range was able to capture the impressive sight on camera.

It shows Mr Apăvăloaei, from the private company Corbex Helicopters in Brasov, expertly steering the aircraft into position.
With astonishing skill he reverses the helicopter backwards towards the hiker, from Bucharest, with its tail facing the mountainside.
Staying completely stable despite the strong updraft he slowly moves into position, allowing rescuers to drop down to the stranded tourist, who had fallen 30m down a crevasse.
Smoothly they pick her up in under a minute, before the pilot flies her off to safety.
The viral video, which has hundreds of thousands of views, was posted on the National Dispatch Rescue Facebook page.
It transpires, according to Romanian news site Digi 24, that a SMURD rescue team had arrived much earlier but could not finish the mission.
An investigation has now been launched by the Department for Emergency Situations, after Mr Apăvăloaei was at first denied from carrying out the rescue himself.
The SMURD pilot reportedly flew around for more than an hour before deciding he could not lead the mission to an end.
Head of Department Emergency Situations, Raed Arafat, confirmed they were looking into the incident, suggesting those who intervened might have 'risked a little extra than the SMURD helicopter pilots'.
Yet he added great care is always taken as risking just that extra one per cent could lead to a disaster, with the blades possibly cutting the 'throats of those who are under the helicopter'.
Mr Apăvăloaei also defended the SMURD team, he said: 'Pilots are very good, but probably have some restrictions.'
The woman was seriously injured with a fractured femur, forearm and a head trauma. She was rushed to hospital in Târgu Mureș after the private helicopter took off for the second time, before carrying out the rescue in just eight minutes.
This is not the first time in recent memory a private crew has not been allowed to intervene in a rescue situation in Romania, reports bzb.ro.
In October 2015 in the Mures area of Transylvania, a helicopter was stopped from trying to retrieve the victim of another serious accident on a ridge.
