Who Was Mary Magdalene?
A compilation

When Jesus first met Mary Magdalene, she was afflicted with seven demons. Jesus cast them out of her, and she went on to become one of the most prominent female disciples of the early church. Mary Magdalene is mentioned by name as having stayed by Jesus through His crucifixion, while most of His other disciples fled.1 She helped to bury Him and went to the tomb the following Sunday, finding the stone rolled away and angels declaring that He had risen.2 She was also the first recorded person to see Jesus after His resurrection.3 In addition, Jesus and His disciples likely needed places to stay at times, as well as food to eat, and Mary Magdalene supported their mission by providing these things.4—R. A. Watterson

Was Mary Magdalene a prostitute?

When novelists and screenwriters try to insert something salacious into the life of Jesus, they focus on one woman: Mary from Magdala. Was Mary Magdalene a prostitute?

Only in the Gospel according to Luke is there even the slightest implication that she might have had a past life that could raise eyebrows and the question: Was Mary Magdalene a prostitute? Luke 8 names her among other female followers and financial supporters and says that she had been released from the power of seven demons.

Theologians in later centuries consciously tried to downplay her role as an influential follower of Jesus. She became identified with the “sinful woman” in Luke 7 whom Jesus forgives as she anoints his feet, as well as the woman “taken in adultery” whom Jesus saved from stoning. In the sixth century Pope Gregory preached of her being a model penitent.

Only the Western church has said that Mary Magdalene was a prostitute. The Eastern church has always honored her as an apostle, noting her as the “apostle to the apostles,” based on the account of the Gospel of John which has Jesus calling her by name and telling her to give the news of his resurrection to the other disciples.—Frombiblicalarchaeology.org5

From saint to sinner

Yet, the New Testament says no such thing. Rather, in three of the four canonical Gospels, Mary Magdalene is mentioned by name only in connection with the death and resurrection of Jesus. She is a witness to his crucifixion6 and burial.7 She is one of the first (the first, according to John) to arrive at the empty tomb.8 And she is one of the first (again, the first, according to John) to witness the risen Christ.9

Only the Gospel of Luke names Mary Magdalene in connection with Jesus’ daily life and public ministry. There, Mary is listed as someone who followed Jesus as he went from village to village, bringing the good news of the kingdom of God. “And the twelve were with him, and also some women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities: Mary, called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out, and Joanna, the wife of Chuza, Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others, who provided for them out of their means.”10—Birger A. Pearson

Primary witness to the resurrection

It all comes down to the Resurrection. Twenty centuries of Christianity—and the faith of billions—rest on this singular event. And who is the primary witness to this momentous miracle, the first person to whom Jesus revealed himself? It would seem that fact would be such an essential element of the faith that all Christians should be able to respond without even thinking—as they do to similar questions, like “Who is Jesus’ mother?” or “Which apostle betrayed Jesus?”

But the first witness to the Resurrection—as all four gospel writers agree—was a woman whose name and reputation have become so misunderstood, misinterpreted, and misconstrued over the centuries that she is more commonly, though erroneously, remembered as a prostitute than as the faithful first bearer of the Good News.

That woman is Mary of Magdala and, finally, her centuries-old case of mistaken identity is being rectified.

Now that scripture scholars have debunked the myth that she and the infamous repentant sinner who wiped Jesus’ feet with her tears are one and the same woman, word is trickling down that Mary Magdalene’s penitent prostitute label was a misnomer. Instead, her true biblical portrait is being resurrected, and this “apostle to the apostles” is finally taking her rightful place in history as a beloved disciple of Jesus and a prominent early church leader….

She is mentioned 12 times in the New Testament—making her the second most-mentioned woman, after the Virgin Mary. Most references are found in the Crucifixion and empty tomb narratives, where she is portrayed as a loyal disciple at the foot of the cross and as one of the first witnesses to the Resurrection.

Unlike other women in the Bible, Mary of Magdala is not identified in relation to another person; she is not anyone’s mother, wife, or sister. Instead, she is called Mary of Magdala, a title that implies some prominence in the city, a center of commercial fishing on the northwest bank of the Sea of Galilee. She left her home to follow Jesus, and it is believed she was among several well-off, independent women who financially supported Jesus’ ministry.

These female followers of Jesus—disciples, really—became central when everything started to fall apart. While others fled, the women were faithful, and they were led by Mary of Magdala.

Details differ in the four gospel accounts of the Resurrection as to the number of heavenly visitors at the tomb, which women accompany Mary Magdalene to anoint the body, and whether or not the women are believed when they run to tell the news of Christ’s Resurrection. But on this all four gospels agree: Mary Magdalene was faithful until the end, and her faithfulness was rewarded with an appearance by the risen Lord.—Heidi Schlumpf 11

Anne Graham Lotz Reveals the Stunning Prophetic Significance of Billy Graham's Death Date

JESSILYN JUSTICE

March 2, 2018

Anne Graham Lotz preaches at her father Billy Graham's funeral. (YouTube)

During her father's funeral, Anne Graham Lotz told the audience the prophetic significance behind the date of Billy Graham's death.

"When he died, that was something very strategic from heaven's point of view," Lotz said during her portion of the eulogy. "I know that before the foundations of the world were laid, Feb. 21, 2018 was the date that God chose to take my father home. Why?"

When Lotz researched the date, she discovered that Feb. 21, 2018, is the day Jews focus on the Scripture reading that deals with the death of Moses.

"Moses was the great liberator," Lotz says. "He brought millions of people out of bondage, slavery, got them to the edge of the promised land, and God took him to heaven."

After Moses' death, God raised up Joshua to lead the Israelites into the promised land.

"My father was also a great liberator," Lotz says. "He brought millions of people out of bondage to sin, and gets us to the edge of heaven, the edge of the promised land, and God has called him home. And could it be that God is going to bring Joshua into the promised land, lead us into heaven?"

In the New Testament, "Joshua" is translated as "Jesus."

"I believe this is a shot across the bow of heaven, and I believe God is saying, 'Wake up, church! Wake up, world! Wake up, Anne! Jesus is coming. Jesus is coming,'" Lotz says.

"Jesus said that when the gospel is preached to the whole world as it is today in this service, as it is through churches, missionaries, ministries, Jesus said in Matthew 24:14, 'When the gospel is preached, then the end will come.'"

After her eulogy-turned-sermon, Twitter was ablaze with praise for the woman Graham called the best preacher in the family.

ANCIENT CHRISTIAN WRITING SAYING ‘GOD JESUS CHRIST’ TO GO ON DISPLAY TO PUBLIC FOR FIRST TIME

BY CALLUM PATON

March 2, 2018

One of the oldest and rarest pieces of Christian writing, a third-century mosaic declaring Jesus as a deity is to go on display to the public for the first time.

Authorities in Israel have announced excavation work is to begin on the archaeological site containing an early Christian place of worship and the ruins of a Jewish Samaritan village inhabited between the first and fourth centuries A.D.

The ancient Christian archaeological site is due to be turned into a tourist attraction more than a decade after it was first discovered by archaeologists, Haaretz reported. Earlier work could not be done on the ruins because they lie beneath a present-day prison, which is only now being evacuated.

Between 2003 to 2008, inmates at the Megiddo Prison uncovered a startlingly well-preserved mosaic that explicitly referred to the Christian messiah as a god.

“The god-loving Akeptous has offered the table to God Jesus Christ as a memorial,” the writing in small, black mosaicked tablets reads. The name Akeptous is believed to refer to a woman who paid for a table used in the place of worship's early Eucharist ceremonies. The Christian ceremony commemorates the Last Supper, in which bread and wine are consecrated and consumed as the flesh and blood of Jesus.

The house of worship found in Othnay is one of a number of early Christian places of prayer found in the Middle East, before churches were established. The mosaic also features fish, an important symbol of early Christianity.

The planned archaeological park containing the ancient mosaic will include the remains of a large Roman army base and seven Ottoman-era flour mills.

The Megiddo Prison, built by the British during the 1940s is currently being cleared of inmates because the building no longer meets Israeli standards for prisoners. It is not clear when the new archaeological park will open.

The Air Force has officially signaled its support of people with alternative religious beliefs. What are the alternative religions? Pagans, Druids, Wiccans, Witches and followers of Native American faiths are now welcome to practice just as mainstream believers can.

The Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO, dedicated an $80,000 outdoor worship center this year, in order to provide a place where the .1 percent of its student body with “Earth-based” belief systems can practice their religions. The Cadet Chapel Falcon Circle, a small, Stonehenge-like circle of boulders that sits high on a hill and surrounds a propane fire pit, is no different at the academy than the chapel rooms that were converted into worship spaces in the past for cadets of Muslim, Buddhist and Hindu faiths.

According to Chaplain Major Darren Duncan, the branch chief of cadet faith communities at the academy, “We’re here to accommodate all religions, period.” He considers their policy not religious tolerance, but a First Amendment issue. He says that if the military is to defend the Constitution, it should also be upholding its guarantee of religious freedom. “We think we are setting the standard,” said Duncan.

The academy also requires that all cadets take courses in understanding the religions of those who may someday fall under their command, and other branches of the military are taking note. Duncan says he’s received calls from West Point and Annapolis about replicating the Air Force’s efforts.

Of the academy’s 4,300 current cadets, 3 practice paganism, 11 are Muslim, 16 are Buddhist, 10 are Hindu and 43 are self-identified atheists. Duncan says the beliefs of all are to be respected.

My Night Camping In An 18th Century Church In England

Frank Langfitt, NPR, March 4, 2018

You might have heard of “glamping”–luxury or glam camping. Now, there’s “champing,” or camping inside churches that are no longer used for services. It’s one of the newest camping options in England and, last fall, I decided to take my family champing in an 18th century church outside of Oxford.

Our night at St. Katherine’s began with a 90-minute drive from our home outside of London to the Coach and Horses Inn, a pub, where we picked up the front-door key from a bartender named Georgia Rose.

“It’s quite a popular destination for people to just come and stay,” she said as she handed a heavy key the size of an eyeglasses case across the bar.

“You get families wanting to spook their kids out.”

Moments later as rain began to fall, we pulled up to St. Katherine’s, a tiny church with ocher-colored walls, blue doors and a clock tower that looked out over a field with horses. On either side of the church, moss-covered gravestones stood at odd angles.

Our daughter, Katie, 16, was not yet sold.

“I thought this would be bigger,” she said as we began to carry our sleeping bags and pillows toward the church.

“You wanted a cathedral?” I said.

“I was hoping for a cathedral,” she responded.

I had looked at a handful of bigger churches as the champing season wound down last fall, but they were all sold out.

A night at St. Katherine’s isn’t cheap. The Churches Conservation Trust, a charity that oversees more than 350 empty churches in England, charged more than $200 a night for the four of us. The money helps fund maintenance for these historical properties, which have gone vacant over the decades as English churchgoing has declined.

As we entered St. Katherine’s, our son Christopher, 13, who is an avid outdoor camper, quickly made his way up to the balcony where he blew up his air mattress and pitched a tent. He came back down and made his way toward the altar where he found an old Bible at the lectern open to the Book of Job. Across the aisle sat a pump organ that Christopher, who’d never seen such a thing, discovered still worked. Katie cast the beam of her flashlight on a plaque above the organ, listing the members of the family that built the church.

“Sacred to the memory of Charles Peers, son and heir of Sir Charles Peers, who died August 7th, 1781, his remains are deposited in the vault of this holy edifice,” Katie read.

One of Peers’ descendants, a farmer also named Charles Peers, 80, lives nearby. The Churches Trust gave me his number, so I asked him to come by to tell us about the building’s history. Peers traced the church’s origins to Sir Charles Peers, a former lord mayor of London, who made a fortune with the British East India Company, and his son, also Charles, who built St. Katherine’s in the early 1760s. The family fortune then passed on to descendants who became vicars.

“All they did is spend the money building churches and vicarages and schools in other villages,” Peers said, “so that’s where the family fortunes went.”

St. Katherine’s never had a big congregation and became unsustainable in the 1970s.

“With a small parish and all the costs involved in running a church like this, we couldn’t see any other way of keeping the church going and preserved other than handing it over,” Peers said.

But how could the growing number of historic churches that are now empty on Sundays get some public use and while generating money for repairs?

Peter Aiers, the entrepreneurial chief executive of the Churches Conservation Trust, came up with the idea.

“Why not wake up with this amazing building rising above you?” Aiers said when we chatted in the Trust’s offices in London. “Then I simply combined the name camping with churches and came up with champing. Give it a name and suddenly you’ve got a product.”

Champing kicked off in 2015 with one church and is expanding to 26 churches in 2018. The season opens in late March and churches can be booked online.

The Trust markets champing as a unique historical experience and provides water, cots, tea and coffee and a composting toilet where needed, but no showers, which means most people tend to only stay one night. Champers can bring snacks but are expected to clean up afterwards. We had dinner at the Coach and Horses Inn. The Trust provides wine for an extra charge.

Last year, more than 1,600 people went champing in England, the Trust says, which was about triple from the year before. About a quarter of last year’s champers came from overseas, including people from the United States, Sweden, Holland and France.

Back at St. Katherine’s, it was getting late and my wife, Julie, and Christopher were playing backgammon by the light of a camping lamp and a smartphone. Katie was plucking her ukulele on a cot that sat next to one of the church’s wooden, box pews. As the clock struck 11, we climbed into our sleeping bags. After Charles Peers’ introduction, St. Katherine’s felt familiar–not spooky.

The only thing that kept me up was the sound of the bells, which chime every hour, all night long.

The next morning, as we packed up the car, Katie said her favorite part was meeting Charles Peers and learning about the church’s history.

“It was fun,” she said, sounding a bit surprised. “I actually enjoyed this.

Global Support for Third Temple Coin

By Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz

March 5, 2018

“This is what everyone who is entered in the records shall pay: a half-shekel by the sanctuary weight—twenty giera to the shekel —a half- shekel as an offering to Hashem. Exodus 30:13 (The Israel Bible™)
A newly minted coin featuring President Trump, King Cyrus, and the Third Temple has been featured in media around the world, graphically illustrating that support for the Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount is now a global phenomenon that is transcending political and religious boundaries.

Three weeks ago, the nascent Sanhedrin and the Mikdash (Temple) Educational Center, a non-profit organization for education about the Temple, partnered in a risky venture to mint a commemorative medallion with an image of President Donald Trump and the Persian King Cyrus. The flip side features a stylized image of the Third Temple.

Both signed a contract to mint 1,000 coins in the hope that the message on the coin that calls out to the US president to support the Jewish claim to the Temple Mount, would resonate with enough people to cover the total expense of the coins. They offered the coins to the public for a minimum donation of $50, and the response has exceeded all their expectations

Image of Third Temple (Photo courtesy Rabbi Hillel Weiss)

Breaking Israel News first broke the story about the coin, which quickly became a sensation in the Israeli press and then followed by stories in The New York Times, Newsweek, Reuters, Associated Press and other major international media. The organizers are also being interviewed by the Swedish, British, and Chinese press.

“It is clear that interest in the Temple is much stronger and much more universal than previously thought,” Mordechai Persoff who established the Mikdash Educational Center, told Breaking Israel News. “This goes beyond political boundaries.”

Persoff said that on Sunday, they began shipping coins to Hong Kong, Ireland, Poland, China, Brazil, Australia, Germany, Belgium, although most of the orders have been from the United States.

Rabbi Hillel Weiss, the spokesman for the Sanhedrin, was surprised by the overwhelming response, but the message was clear to him: Support for the Third Temple is growing.

“This is enormously popular among America’s friends and very unpopular among the people who hate America,” Rabbi Weiss toldBreaking Israel News.

“Obama hated Israel and Jerusalem, and as a result, America’s enemies became stronger while he was president, many acquiring or developing nuclear weapons. It is important to realize that the most powerful and enduring hope America has is to side with Hashem. The only hope for this is to support Jews taking their place as a Nation of Priests and a Light Unto the Nations.”

The source for the concept behind the coin is the Biblical silver half-shekel that was collected in Temple Times from every Jewish man. The Trump medallion does not adhere to the requirements of this Biblically mandated coin but proceeds from sales of the coin will go towards projects educating the public about the Jewish Temple.

Persoff told Breaking Israel News that if the demand grows, they will consider minting a larger limited special edition Temple Coin based on the current design.

The next project that the two organizations will cooperate on is a reenactment of the Paschal Sacrifice on March 26. At that time, Kohanim (Jewish men of priestly descent) will recreate the Temple service in a manner resembling the Temple service as much as possible. They will be dressed in the priestly garments and using silver vessels intended for use in the Third Temple. A lamb will be sacrificed and roasted in a Biblically authentic manner.

(“Let no man deceive you by any means: for [that day shall not come,] except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.”) 2 Thessalonians 2:2-3)

Developers planning $400m theme park for Israel

March 7, 2018

A $400m, Disney-style theme park that will be themed on the history of the Jewish people is in development in Israel.

Plaim Park (or Park of Wonders) is planned for Dimona, a southern town in the Negev desert. Initially, the park will cover 25 hectares featuring 16 major rides across five “worlds” – Oasis, World of Spirits, World of the Jewish nation, World of Society and World of Time.

“We are very good at many things in Israel – hi-tech, medicine – I think it is also time for us to be good at something that is fun and enjoyable,” Lea Malul, CEO of the theme park project told the Jerusalem Post.

The park and rides will be modelled after Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, however they will be themed to educate visitors on the Jewish people.

“The park will have the same rides and the same layout but with content. It will be 90% fun and 10% content,” Malul said. She added that none of the theming will be based on the Bible or mitzvot, instead it will reflect Jewish and universal values.

One of the proposed rides is based on Splash Mountain with the theme modified to show six work days and a “calm zone” after a drop that signifies the day of rest.

Other planned attractions include a Jacob’s Ladder ride and a roller coaster that passes through gigantic tomes — representing Jews as the people of the book.

Plaim Park will also create and develop its own characters to populate the attractions and interact with visitors. It hopes these characters will become “cultural heroes of tomorrow”.

Malul said that there are private investors lined up to fund the estimated $400m project. It is currently in the process of acquiring the necessary approvals and permits, which could take several years.

Once the park is off the ground the developer plans to surround it with malls, hotels and other attractions.

“We are developing the whole area to actually build a new destination that deals with entertainment and fun,” Malul said. “This is going to be a very big game-changer for the whole country – it will become an international destination.”

Dimona Municipality is keen to attract visitors and appropriated the land the developer is eyeing for the park for such a purpose. It is in advanced stages of pushing forth the initiative, which has also been backed by Yariv Levin, Israel’s tourism minister, according to the Post.

These 'Tools Of Tyrants' Are Hidden In Plain Sight Within Our Homes And Controlled By A Diabolical Power: 'Brain Meltdown' By 'Telepresence' Has Lobotomized The Masses

Submitted to All News Pipeline by Mary Taylor

How do you waste a perfectly good mind and create a zombie? An article on the Steve Quayle site last week shows how easy it is to “zombify” Americans—just sit them in front of their TVs, computer monitors or smart phones and whisper softly behind the screens.
Electromagnetic fields from these monitors are actually a form of nervous system manipulation, the US Patent article reveals. When pulsed images are displayed, it results in certain “physiological effects” in humans, not good news for most computer nerds and TV couch potatoes.
“Many computer monitors and TV tubes emit pulsed electromagnetic fields of sufficient amplitudes to excite sensory resonance in a nearby subject,” the article noted. “It is therefore possible to manipulate someone’s nervous system by pulsing images displayed on a nearby computer monitor or TV set.”
In other words, sneaky subliminal messages are changing us from high-functioning, thinking beings into mind-controlled zombies content to sleepwalk through life.

So go ahead, veg out in front of the TV and let it control your thought patterns. Neuroscientists tell us that first it will play havoc with your brain, converting your Beta waves—those associated with active, logical thought---to primarily Alpha waves.
Within just a few minutes of turning on the television, you are sent into a euphoric haze where your brain is passive and highly receptive to suggestion. Advertisers, knowing this, are standing by to take advantage, sometimes with a subliminal message urging you to buy their products.
But “buy, buy, buy” isn’t the only message being sent below the radar. Some believe that dark manipulative masters intend to use the “telepresence” of our digital playtoys to control the world. In his book, “Life After Television,” author George Gilder called telepresence “a tool of tyrants.”
He noted that while the general public usually is not aware of subtle manipulation, they don’t even have to look for the main topics incorporated into hidden screen messages--sex, drugs, food, fear and violence. “They are there in plain sight,” he wrote.

So, after all, there may be no need to use subliminal messages when the brain is already in its receptive Alpha state, ready to absorb suggestion. Just flash a brand across the screen, along with images of some beautiful people having fun, and the manipulated brain will associate the product with something positive.
What, really, is behind all this? Is there indeed a dark manipulator—one who plays our nervous systems like an instrument, who harnesses the power of the air waves and rides them right into our living rooms—in fact, into every room in the house!
In other words, is the prince of the power of the air busy creating a weapon fit for its work?
On Quayle’s site today, a reader alerted that “the sought-after smart phones are actually, in reality, a main method for those who belong to Lucifer to gain control and to ultimately enslave.” The author contended that the “smart” name is an intel word acronym for Surveillance Masked As Routine Technology.
Consider that just clicking any of our modern electronic gadgets on could give dark masters fuel for the fire as they work, forging powerful tools designed to bring down our society and circumvent the laws, morals, and political freedoms our nation enjoys.
Such a scenario was anticipated in the Bible, where we are counseled to watch out for underhanded schemes of the enemy, being careful about the voices and images we allow in our homes.
“I will set no vile thing before my eyes. I hate the deeds of faithless men. They will not cling to me.” Psalm 101:3-5
“Do not bring a detestable thing into your house or you will be set apart for destruction, even as it is. Regard it as vile and utterly abhor and detest it, for it is set apart for destruction.” Deuteronomy 7:26

But there stands a giant silver screen in the living room--our own Manchurian Candidate, a planted assassin controlled by a diabolical foreign power. Like the agent in the movie, our enemy plant was welcomed by a lobotomized audience gathering round.
But fast forward a few years and, no longer content to be confined to the home, the dark power behind the screen has become wireless, mobilized and miniaturized, able to go with his unwitting hosts wherever we go.
In his book about television Guilder follows the progression from its first introduction to an unwary public at the 1939 World’s Fair in New York. He noted that while few grasped its coming impact on American culture, soon TV would become “the major factor in transforming American family life.”
“Although many observers sensed the power of this amazing new machine for videocommunications, few grasped anything about its coming impact on American culture and society,” Gilder stated.
“No one anticipated that the members of an average household would watch the screen most of the hours of their day, making it a substitute hearth, glowing constantly day and night. It would transform childhood and puberty, defining the national experience and consciousness.”
Visionaries like Gilder have observed that while American mass entertainment has become the most powerful force in global culture, the growing influence of electromagnetism has not stopped there. Technology continues on a never-ending roll.

Once television had become a staple in every room of the American home, electronics progressed to the point that today the market is flooded with interactive tech creations of the computer age. Portable laptops, tablets, video games, stereo headphoness and hand-held smartphones have made it possible to take our daily poison with us wherever we go.
And there with us goes the subliminal messenger, a website called Visme pointed out: “While no one wants to feel manipulated, as members of a consumer society, we all have an accessible subconscious that is subject to subliminal messaging,” the site reported.
Popularized by Freud, the term ‘subconscious’ refers to the part of our mind that operates below the level of conscious awareness. Think of it as a secret hiding place for our desires, motives and past experiences that exist outside of conscious awareness.
“What’s really fascinating is that our subconscious is always on autopilot and is even more powerful than consciousness when it comes to processing information.”
An article in Conscious Life News alerted readers to the inherent dangers: “Once society uses subliminal messages to influence your mind, it can control your thought patterns to a certain degree. Because they target your subconscious, usually you are not aware that you are being manipulated.”
Thus telepresence can be exploited to soothe and lobotomize the masses, unaware and uncaring as tyrants move their players in position, making ready for a national fruit basket turnover and revolution. Glued to screens in our homes, our cars and in our pockets and purses, we zone out and make it easy for them.
What, then, can be done? What does the future hold for a generation bombarded with the degenerative ideas and images of a perverse culture to the point that they have given over their independent thinking and individuality for a slave-master mentality?
And what defense does the ordinary person have against being waylaid by pulsating electronic messages that lie hidden in our TVs, computers and mobile devices?
Author and Minister Annette Capps addressed the subject in her book “Reverse the Curse,” noting that the Word of God teaches that we have authority over the soulish areas of our lives. She compared our souls and spirits to cities in biblical times that needed walls for protection from invading enemy forces.
“This is a marvelous comparison to the spiritual, emotional, and mental condition of a man or woman,” she observed. “If you don’t guard your own spirit, your own heart, you are like a city whose walls are broken down, and you have no protection. You are then opened to all kinds of violence and destruction.”
“He that has no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down and without walls.” Proverbs 25:28
“He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty and he that rule his spirit than he that takes a city.” Proverbs 16:32

Scientists to make tech revolution: Dead people will return in form of robotic clones

    By Bhaswati Guha Majumder

    Updated February 24, 2018

Robotic clone of a dead person (Representational picture) Pixabay & YouTube grab

Swedish scientists are trying to make a digital copy of those who have passed away by using artificial intelligence to store reconstruct the voices of a diseased person.

In Indonesia, Torajan people are known for keeping the dead bodies of their loved ones to live at home with them. Swedish funeral agency Phoenix is now looking for such volunteers, who are willing to offer their dead relatives for this study, as the objective of this research is to create a communication between both sides through technology.

Torajan people provide food, washe the dead bodies and change their clothes regularly, even provide a bowl in the corner of that particular room, where the body is placed, that apparently serves the purpose of their toilet. These bodies are injected with Formalin, a kind of preservative that restricts the body to decompose.

But now, maybe the new technology could help these people who want to feel the connection through making physical contact with their relatives and loved ones, as the scientists are trying to build a robotic clone of a dead person, which would be the exact replica of the diseased.

According to Sputnik News, these robotic clones might have the capability to answer simple questions related to the weather, what time it is and daily life.

While earlier, people used to keep pictures of their dead relatives to remember them, the new technological revolutionary project would help them to re-live the memorable moments with their departed loved ones.

Even though famous scientists such as Stephen Hawking and Elon Musk have warned about the virtual dangers of AI technology, if this cloning technology comes true, then digital immortality could become a real phenomenon, exactly like the movie plot of Alex Garland's 'Ex Machina'.

Dr Michio Kaku, who studied theoretical physics and studying the strong force, the weak force, gravity and electromagnetism said in a documentary that it is possible to create an exact robotic replica of a dead person if their personality has been downloaded into a computer as an avatar.

These avatars would contain memories and personality that will help to communicate with relatives as if they were still alive. Kaku said that they would, in effect, become immortal.

At a conference in Lisbon recently, the 76-year-old Stephen Hawking told the audience that humans must know how to control computers as AI is associated with incredible risks.

Earlier, Tesla's Chief Executive Musk had called AI as humanity's biggest threat. But his company is working on a developing 'neural lace' technology, called Neuralink, which implants tiny brain electrodes, which would be capable enough to upload and download thoughts.

According to him, if they can effectively merge with AI, then humanity could achieve symbiosis with machines. Later, he also said: 'We don't have to worry about some evil dictator AI because we are the AI collectively.

DIY genetic engineering is about to explode

Implanting RFID chips under your skin is so 2017. Modifying your own DNA is where it's at now, and the ethical questions are only just beginning to be asked.

By Stilgherrian | February 26, 2018, 3:49 PM PST

(image: Tomasz Wyszołmirski www.dabarti.com)

In 1974, the Altair 8800 microcomputer kicked off a revolution. The kit cost $439, or around $2,000 in today's money. Assembled, it cost about 40 percent more. For between $150 and $350 on top, depending on the version, you could add a programming language, Altair BASIC, from a newly-formed company called Micro-Soft.

In 2018, you can buy a "Genetic Engineering Home Lab Kit" for around $2,000. For beginners, $159 will get you a "DIY Bacterial Gene Engineering CRISPR Kit". It includes "everything you need to make precision genome edits in bacteria at home" for an example experiment, "allowing the bacteria to survive on Strep media which would normally prevent its growth". And there's more.

What could possibly go wrong?

Right now, getting into genetic engineering costs roughly the same as getting into computing did back in the 1970s. That means we're about to see a revolution in do-it-yourself genetic body modifications, according to biohacker Meow-Ludo Disco Gamma Meow-Meow, who launched BioFoundry, billed as Australia's first community lab for citizen scientists, in 2014.

"We're on the border of lots and lots of people doing self-experimentation using CRISPR," Meow-Meow told the linux.conf.au open-source software conference in Sydney last month.

"[It's a] really interesting Brave New World. This is kind of where biohacking is now," he said during his presentation.

By "self-experimentation", Meow-Meow does indeed mean people conducting genetic experiments on themselves. He sees this as a natural extension of the work of so-called "grinders", people like himself who have implanted computer chips and other technology into their own bodies.

In 2017, Meow-Meow embedded the chip from an Opal card, the payment card for Sydney's public transport systems, into his hand. He could now simply wave his hand to pay the fare.

Tampering with the card breached its terms of use, however, and Transport for NSW deactivated the account. The legal battle over whether that was legitimate is continuing, with Meow-Meow next in court in March.

Genetic engineering your own body is a whole new thing.

One possibility is knocking out the gene that produces myostatin, a protein that inhibits the process of turning fat into muscle tissue. Disrupt the production of myostatin, and the body will create far more muscle tissue than normal.

"Instead of going to the gym like an ordinary person, you can just sit on the couch and you will turn into a beefcake. This is the idea at least, and there's a fair few people who are like very, very interested in this," Meow-Meow said.

One of the first self-experimenters was Tristan Roberts who, as the BBC reported, was "the first human to inject an untested, experimental gene therapy into his stomach fat". He even livestreamed it on Facebook

Roberts, who is HIV positive, was frustrated with the slow pace of medical research. So he injected himself with DNA that is intended to trigger production of the antibody N6, which in experiments has neutralised 98 percent of the virus. And he dumped his HIV medication.

"The rest of the biohackers are a bit, like, that's pretty stupid, dude, but he thinks that it's his best solution," Meow-Meow said.

"I think what's interesting here is about the ethics around whether he should be able to do that, and what happens if you live in a country with socialised health care, and everyone starts GMOing [genetically modifying] themselves. Are we responsible for paying for that, and where does that responsibility shift and end?"

Meow-Meow reminded the conference that one of the most important medical breakthroughs was the result of self-experimentation, and it happened in Australia.

In 1994, physician Barry Marshall infected himself with the the bacterium Helicobacter pylori, demonstrating that it was the cause of many stomach ulcers. It won him a Nobel Prize.

Genes can't be patented, at least according to the US Supreme Court and the High Court of Australia, so that's one hurdle that biohackers won't face. But could copyright be an issue? Safety? Will we see "responsible gene-hacking" laws? Licensing of genetic engineers?

No matter, cheap home lab kits and good ol' human curiosity mean that DIY genetic engineering will soon explode in popularity.

Oregon passes bill allowing mentally ill patients to be starved to death

Fr. Mark Hodges

SALEM, Oregon, March 2, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) –

The first U.S. state that legalized doctors killing sick patients has now passed a bill that critics say will allow healthcare givers to starve to death mentally ill patients.

Oregon’s Senate passed House Bill 4135 on Tuesday (17-12) and in the House two weeks ago (35-25). Touted as an update to Oregon’s Advance Directive Form, critics say the bill paves the way for healthcare givers to remove access to food and water for vulnerable Oregonians with illnesses such as dementia and Alzheimer’s.

Oregon Right to Life (ORTL) Executive Director Lois Anderson says the effect of the bill is that “vulnerable Oregonians are left without protections and their right to basic care like food and water.”

“The advance directive was put into Oregon statute back in 1993,” State Rep. Bill Kennemer explained, adding that it was “very well vetted” and “thoroughly discussed.”

“If it were to be removed from statute, I fear the legal protections we carefully placed there could be jeopardized, potentially harming end of life decisions for vulnerable patients,” he added.

Under the old advanced directive, caretakers may not decide to starve a mentally impaired patient to death unless that caretaker has been given decision-making authority by the patient before becoming mentally impaired (with four rare exceptions).

HB-4135 reverses that provision, allowing a mentally impaired patient to be starved to death — even against his or her will — unless the patient has made a contrary advanced directive.

“If signed into law, HB-4135 would endanger Oregonians with dementia and Alzheimer’s, allowing their healthcare representatives to remove their access to food and water,” the ORTL website explains.

“Over the last 25 years, Oregonians at the end-of-life stage have been protected by the current advance directive. Removing it from statute has legal consequences.”

“It’s disappointing that House Democrats passed a bill that has obvious and significant problems,” Anderson added.

“What limited testimony was allowed in the House Health Care Committee hearing revealed the process has been rushed and will lead to unintended consequences that endanger vulnerable Oregonians,” he said.

"Oregon's advance directive is a critical document that deserved more than three weeks of rushed deliberation," Oregon Right to Life Political Director David Kilada told LifeSiteNews.

"The disregard every single Democrat in the Oregon Legislature had for the concerns raised about House Bill 4135 was disgraceful. Stakeholders — including doctors, an attorney, and thousands of Oregonians — expressed concern that the bill would have unintended consequences endangering vulnerable people. These concerns were ignored."

Bill Harris testified in favor of the legislation. His wife had dementia, and he went to court to legally starve her to death. He said he supports HB-4135 because his court case was unsuccessful.

The bill now goes to Democrat Governor Kate Brown’s desk for signing into law. Gov. Brown is praised by abortion groups such as Emily’s List and Planned Parenthood.

Oregon was one of the first states to legalize abortion in 1969 and the first state in the union to legalize doctor-assisted suicide in 1997.

(“But they that sin against me act wickedly against their own souls: and they that hate me love death.” Proverds 8:36)

Earth wide open in Peru: 60 families evacuated as giant cracks completely perforate the region of Cuzco

March 4, 2018

This is terrifying! Yes, the residents of Lluto, a small community located in the province of Chumbivilcas, department of Cusco, Peru, is literally cracking up, with dozens of huge and growing cracks in the ground swallowing up houses, fields and probably soon people. The fissures expand everyday, leaving always less place for inhabitants to live around. 60 families have already been evacuated… And the rest of the population is living on high alert.

Hundreds of residents of the rural community of Lluto in Chumbivilcas – Cusco are living on high alert after a dramatic landslide and the resulting , still expanding cracks have destroyed several homes and are now threatening cultivation fields and thus the life of dozens of other residents.

More than 53 cracks slowly destroy a small village in Peru.

The giant cracks were created by a landslide that started back in 2012, but the situation has evolved so bad that 60 families have been evacuated so far on March 2, 2018.

The growing fissures in the Earth and the ground instability are due to earthquakes and high rainfall in the recent month.

The cracks and ground movement have already started in 2012 in the region, however, in recent weeks, the situation has become too dangerous, with villagers evacuating homes and seeking refuge in other settlements far away.
On March 2, 2018, a new landslide occurred around 3 am and caused the collapse of 37 homes, the health center of the city, a stretch of 300 meters of road and threatens to destroy a primary and secondary school. There are now at least 53 large cracks – due to earthquakes and heavy rains – destabilizing the ground in the region.

The fissures have weakened infrastructures and several homes have collapsed or have cracks in the walls. Officials have now put the region under investigation and an emergency plan has been deployed to help the victims of the dramatic geological phenomenon.

UFO or block of ice? Baffling Google Earth image sparks alien claims

March 5, 2018

A mysterious object spotted on Google Earth has ignited speculation that a UFO crash-landing site may have been snapped by satellite. The image shows a long shape in the middle of a remote, snowy island off the Antarctic coast.

The strange sighting was shared by UFO spotter Secureteam10 on YouTube. The group points to satellite imagery of a snowy plain on the island which shows an oblong object and a linear path it appears to have marked into the snow.

The curious find is located on the South Georgia Island, which is to the north of Antarctica. According to the group, the object is about 63 meters (206ft) in length, and it left a 1km long trail. The group told its viewers it looks like “something has crash-landed down on the snowy surface below."

Secureteam10 used Google Earth to follow the trail back towards the direction it seems to have traveled, to the edge of a mountain where there is some disturbance in the snow. The object could simply be from an avalanche of snow but, according to the UFO spotters, the disturbance could have been created by a UFO landing.

The group also speculated the object may have been something that was buried in the mountain until it broke free and made its way to the resting point shown on Google Earth. They even suggested it could be a submarine, but questioned why the submarine would be there.

The video divided opinion amongst YouTube viewers. Some thought the object was suspicious, while others said it was likely a “big chunk of rock that slid off the side of a mountain.”

“No, a single rock wouldn't have the momentum to slide or roll that far, not only that the debris field would be far greater.”another commenter said.

“Healthy skepticism is fine. But this object has left a nearly perfect, symmetrical, evenly-spaced trail behind it for 3,000+ feet,” said another. “The two lines are evenly divided with barely any indentation or trauma to the gap between the two lines. If it were a piece of ice or normal, natural debris, don't you think the trail left behind would be much more malformed and patternless?”

What do you think? Could this sighting be a UFO or is it just a natural occurrence?

Putin says he would annihilate the world with his nuclear weapons if nukes were fired at Russia because 'why do we need a world if Russians cease to exist?'

  • Vladimir Putin promised he'd retaliate in case of nuclear attack

  • Russian President swore to wipe out the world with his own nukes

  • Told TV documentary there would be no need for a world without Russia

By WILL STEWART FOR MAILONLINE

PUBLISHED: 13:11, 7 March 2018 | UPDATED: 18:53, 7 March 2018

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said he would destroy the world with nuclear missiles if Russia came under attack.

Putin, who was pictured kissing an enamoured fan on the campaign trail this week, made clear that if Russia was hit by nuclear weapons and faced being wiped out, then the world would not be worth saving.

In a TV documentary he said: 'I want to tell you, and I want this to be known here and abroad.

From Russia, with love: President Vladimir Putin made it clear that if Russia was under attack and faced being wiped out, then the world would not be worth saving

Vladimir Putin showed how much he loves his fellow Russians last week when he kissed a female supporter as she took a selfie at an election campaign meeting

'Our plans for using it (his nuclear arsenal), I am hoping it will never happen, our theoretical plans of using it is a so-called retaliatory, counter strike.

'A decision about using nuclear weapon can be made only if our missile warning system recorded not only the launch of missiles, but also gave an accurate prediction of flight trajectories and the time when the warheads fall on Russia.'

He said: 'This is called a retaliatory, counter strike, when we receive a legal right to respond.

'Yes this will be a global catastrophe for humankind. It will be a global catastrophe for the world.

'But as a citizen of Russia, as a head of the Russian state, I want to ask - why do we need a world if Russia ceases to exist?'

Earlier this week, Putin surprised onlookers by kissing a female supporter on when she asked to take a selfie with the president.

The famously dour Russian leader, 65, was photographed kissing fan Larisa Sergukhina at the Luzhniki stadium in the capital Moscow after a concert intended to drum up support for him.

After the March 3 concert, Putin agreed to have some photos taken with his supporters, one of which got more attention in Russian media than the event itself.

Onlookers were gobsmacked when Putin planted a kiss on the forehead of his admirer Ms Sergukhina.

Putin is the hot favourite to win the presidential election on 18th March, though if no candidate gets more than half the votes cast a second round will be held on 8th April, with less popular candidates removed from the ballot slip.

Putin is running as an independent. His opponents include Pavel Grudinin of the Communist Party and Vladimir Zhirinovsky of the liberal LDPR party.

Victory for Eurosceptic, populist parties shocks the establishment in Italy election

The League, led by Matteo Salvini, performed strongly Credit: Pier Marco Tacca/Getty Images

By Nick Squires and Peter Foster

March 5, 2018

Italian voters have flocked to anti-establishment, Eurosceptic parties and rejected mainstream, traditional political parties, the latest results from the country’s election indicated on Monday.

The populist Five Star Movement, founded by stand-up comedian Beppe Grillo as a bombastic challenge to the established order, emerged as the big winner of the general election, in a result that will be viewed with trepidation in Brussels.

With around half the ballot counted, it looked as though the Five Star Movement had won around a third of all votes, up from 25 per cent in Italy’s last general election in 2013.

The Eurosceptic, anti-immigration League also performed well, according to preliminary calculations.

The numbers suggested that The League and Five Star together attracted 50 per cent of all votes.

The League was projected to take more than 17 per cent of the vote – compared with just four per cent at the last election.

In a bitter blow for former premier Silvio Berlusconi, The League was projected to take more votes than his more moderate, centre-Right Forza Italia party.

The two parties are in an uneasy alliance, along with two other centre-Right parties, and together the bloc was expected to win around 37 per cent of the vote.

No party or alliance got over the threshold of 40 per cent, which would have allowed it to form a government outright.

Matteo Salvini, the leader of The League, wrote in a tweet: “My first words – thank you.”

There was a euphoric mood at the party’s headquarters in Milan, with one official telling reporters that the League's strong showing was "a clear signal to Europe, which has mistreated Italians."

The governing Democratic Party, headed by former prime minister Matteo Renzi, performed dismally, with exit polls suggesting it won less than 20 per cent of the vote – a disastrous result for Italy’s mainstream centre-Left party.

It appeared to have been punished by voters for persistently high unemployment, a laggardly economy and the reception of 600,000 migrants arriving by boat from Libya in the last four years.

As the largest party, Five Star is likely to demand the chance to try to form a government.

"Nobody will be able to govern without the Five Star Movement," said senior party member Riccardo Fraccaro. "We will assume the responsibility to build this government, but in a different way, talking with all the parties about what this country needs."

However, the party has repeatedly ruled out forming a coalition with other parties, guaranteeing uncertainty over what happens next.

"Di Maio wins, Italy ungovernable," was the front-page headline on the first edition of La Stampa newspaper.

One scenario would be a loose alliance between Five Star and The League – both have called for hundreds of thousands of unauthorised migrants to be sent back to their home countries and both have raised the prospect in the past of ditching the euro.

But many analysts believe they would make strange political bedfellows.

Nigel Farage congratulated the strong result of the Five Star movement.

"My congratulations to my colleagues in the European Parliament (@5-Star Movement) for topping the poll tonight," he wrote in a tweet. Earlier he had tweeted, "Eurosceptism is on the rise."

The results suggested that Italy is in for a protracted period of uncertainty and weeks of tortuous horse-trading between the parties.

“Italy is far from having sorted its long-standing problems, and now it will have new ones. Be prepared for long and complex negotiations that will take months," said Lorenzo Codogno, a former chief economist at the Italian Treasury.

During the day many voters waited in line for more than an hour to vote, only to then be baffled by confusing ballots and the process to cast them - which for the first time required an anti-fraud check by polling authorities.

"You feel as if you have gone there prepared but it's not that clear," complained Sister Vincenza as she cast her ballot on Rome's Aventine hill before heading to Mass.

Some polling stations remained closed in Palermo two hours into election day because the wrong ballots were delivered and 200,000 new ones had to be reprinted overnight. Similar ballot glitches were reported elsewhere, forcing the suspension of the vote in two towns in Alessandria.

"The LIberal World Order Is In Jeopardy": Global Populism Rises To Highest Level Since World War II

Tyler Durdan

March 8, 2018

Earlier this week, one of the Obama administration's top diplomats, Samantha Power, claimed that Russia was responsible for the stunning Italian election outcome, hinting that anyone who dares to point out or discuss the social and economic woes of Europe's grand experiment - and certainly Europe's "refugee problem"- is a Russian operative. In that case, Deutsche Bank must be the Frankfurt office of the KGB, because in an overnight note, the German lender reported something especially troubling for Europe's future and viability: populism has risen to the highest level since World War II.

Commenting on the recent Italian election, Deutsche Bank's Jim Reed writes that relative to other political events in recent years, Italy's general election over the weekend was a relatively calm affair for markets, despite the uncertain outcome. Which was to be expected: in previous political events, the ECB forcefully stepped in and vowed to intervene if turbulence emerged.

However, as Reid adds, "it's hard to get away from the fact that the overall result was another resounding vote for populism. Indeed over 50% of votes submitted was for a populist party, including of course the party with the largest percentage - the Five Star Movement - and a possible kingmaker in subsequent coalition talks - the Northern League."

Making matters worse for the "globalist" establishment, arithmetically the anti-establishment alliance between Five Star and the Northern League has an outright majority, and While it's difficult to see such an alliance forming, this shows the power of populism in recent years which has followed a vote for Brexit, President Trump and strong performances for the likes of the National Front party in France and the Alternative for Germany party in Germany.

The chart below shows Deutsche Bank's populism index updated for the Italian election result. The chart shows that the percentage of votes for populist parties on a population weighted basis is around 32% - a level its largely held since the Trump inspired surge in 2016. In fact, you have to go all the way back to the WWII period to find the last time that populism had such support.

A focus just on Europe shows that the continent with the high double-digit youth unemployment has become a hotbed for anti-establishment sentiment, which has everything to do with the economy, and lack of opportunities, and nothing to do with Russian operatives, much to Samantha Power's chagrin.

Reid's troubling conclusion is that "it's hard to get away from the fact that populism is currently going through an explosion in support at present." Reid also notes that while the above index excludes a vote for Jeremy Corbyn's Labour party but "one could certainly argue that some of his more radical views and policies are populist in nature." And if DB were to include Corbyn's support in the 2017 UK General Election "then our index edges above 35%, eclipsing the 1940s highs, and to the highest since the turn of the 20th century."

What are the implications:

As of now the rise in populism hasn't yet destabilised markets however we find it difficult to get away from the fact that uncertainty levels are bound to remain high while such power brokers remain in major elections. Indeed the unpredictability of  Trump's policies is such an example, with the recent tariff threats which have subsequently escalated market concerns about a trade war being one. At a time when global central banks are moving towards an unprecedented era of tightening and dealing with years of massive asset purchases, risks from rising populist support has the ability to seriously disturb the prevailing equilibrium of the last few years and subsequently markets.

While Reid notes that this is more of a slow burning issue over the next few years, he concedes that populism remains the biggest threat "to the post-1980 globalisation/liberalism world order."

The biggest risk, of course, is that the last time populism and populist anger was this high, the world was wrapped in a war that killed tens of millions of people. One wonders what happens this time when the biggest distraction ever created for mass consumption: the idea of paper wealth and unbooked profits - evaporates following the next market crash, and how many millions will die as a result. One thing is certain: the global drums of war have not beaten louder in almost a century.

Ryanair's Michael O'Leary threatens to ground planes after Brexit to make voters 'rethink' withdrawal

Ryanair CEO Michael O'Leary attends a press conference of Irish low-cost airline Ryanair, CREDIT: AFP

By Press Association

March 7, 2018

Ryanair is threatening to ground its planes after the UK withdraws from the European Union to persuade voters to "rethink" Brexit.

The Dublin-based carrier's chief executive Michael O'Leary said he wants to "create an opportunity" by making people realise they are "no longer going to have cheap holidays".

He told an audience of airline leaders in Brussels: "I think it's in our interests - not for a long period of time - that the aircraft are grounded.

"It's only when you get to that stage where you're going to persuade the average British voter that you were lied to in the entire Brexit debate.

"You were promised you could leave the EU and everything would stay the same. The reality is you can leave the EU, yes that's your choice, but everything will fundamentally change."

Mr O'Leary warned that there would be a "real crisis" as flights between the UK and the EU are disrupted after Brexit.

He said: "When you begin to realise that you're no longer going to have cheap holidays in Portugal or Spain or Italy, you've got to drive to Scotland or get a ferry to Ireland as your only holiday options, maybe we'll begin to rethink the whole Brexit debate.

"They were misled and I think we have to create an opportunity."

EasyJet chief executive Johan Lundgren, who was on stage alongside Mr O'Leary, interrupted him to say: "If you start grounding your planes, I'm flying."

Carsten Spohr, the boss of German carrier Lufthansa, added: "In theory, if we could use this industry to prove to the British how wrong the decision was, that might be a good thing."

The single market for aviation, created in the 1990s, means there are no commercial restrictions for airlines flying within the EU.

Mr O'Leary has repeatedly warned that airlines will be forced to cancel post-Brexit services from March 2019 if no agreement is reached in the Brexit negotiations by September, because schedules are planned about six months in advance.

Transport Secretary Chris Grayling said in January that he is confident flights will not be grounded because "it's in the interests of everyone" to maintain the open market for aviation.

Has The Australian Government Gone Stark-Raving Mad?

POSTED ON March 6, 2018

By Catherine J. Frompovich

Just when you think things can’t get any worse than they are regarding the suppression of human rights, denial of personal dignities and the right to self-determination regarding one’s health, the Government of Australia has pulled off what it probably thinks is a “hat trick” upon its citizens. It’s denying them their Creator-given and natural rights of securing life, liberty and the pursuit of safety and happiness by mandating no contradictory information can be stated by any member of the medical profession regarding the horrendous history of current vaccines and vaccinations, or they will lose their licenses!

That and other apparent totalitarian aspects and implementations of governance caught the attention of the United Nations Human Rights Council, which issued a report titled “Report of the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights defenders on his mission to Australia,” a 21-page document that can be read here.

The Conclusions of the Rapporteur’s Report are self-explanatory:

106. The Special Rapporteur concludes the report by putting forward the following recommendations.

107. The Australian Government is recommended to:

(a) Consider adopting a federal human rights act to constitutionally guarantee human rights with a clause of precedence over all other legislation.

(b) Review and revoke laws that unduly restrict the right to free and peaceful assembly.

(c) Review secrecy laws, Crimes Act and the Border Force Act with a view to revising provisions that contravene international human rights norms and standards.

(d) Scrutinize and condemn violations of the rights of defenders and raise awareness of their legitimate role in the protection and promotion of human rights.

(e) Ensure sufficient funding and legal assistance to CSOs and refrain from introducing measures that reduce, obstruct or unduly control the funding for civil society.

(f) Restore adequate operational funding to legal, environmental and indigenous peak bodies and recognize their important role in advocacy and strategic litigation.

(g) Remove the ‘gagging clauses’ from all Federal and State funding partnership and funding agreements.

(h) Ensure prompt and impartial investigations into alleged threats and violence against defenders and trade unionists.

(I) Guarantee meaningful participation of defenders and civil society in government decision-making.

(j) Initiate a prompt and impartial inquiry into the attempts by public officials to intimidate and undermine the Australian Human Rights Commission.

(k) Ensure that future appointment of AHRC commissioners is made through public, transparent, merit-based appointment that are fully compliant with the Paris Principles.

(l) Formulate national action plan on business and human rights, in consultation with civil society.

(m) Ensure that environmental impact assessments are prepared in full transparency and with meaningful participation of affected communities prior to the approval of large-scale projects.

(n) Engage with investors and business enterprises to uphold their human rights responsibilities and sanction those companies associated with violations against defenders, both at home and abroad.

108. The Australian Human Rights Commission and other state-level human rights institutions are recommended to:

(a) Include, within the programme of work, specific activities on the protection and promotion of defenders.

(b) Compile and analyse data on the number of complaints received, cases monitored and recommendations adopted on the safety and security of defenders.

(c) Establish a focal point for defenders with decision-making power.

(d) At state levels, adopt and contribute to the preventive and protective measures for defenders, as well as develop means for their public recognition.

109. Business enterprises and other non-State actors are recommended to:

(a) Adopt and implement international human rights standards, including the Guiding Principles for Business and Human Rights and the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights;

(b) Fulfil legal and ethical obligations, including rigorous human rights due diligence, and perform human rights impact assessments for large-scale projects, ensuring full participation with affected communities and defenders.

(c) Refrain from verbal attacks or legal intimidation against defenders and CSOs.

(d) Disclose information related to planned and on-going large-scale projects in a timely and accessible manner.

(e) Establish grievance mechanisms necessary to avoid, mitigate and remedy any direct and indirect impact of human rights violations.

(f) Ensure that subcontractors respect the rights of indigenous peoples and affected communities and establish accountability mechanisms for grievances.

As a journalist, it is not my place to tell the people of Australia how to run their country, but it is within my purview to point out the problems involved, especially those that affect Australians’ ability to protect and maintain their health and wellness as being shackled upon them by the current Turnbull Administration regarding vaccines and vaccinations, which are a total medical sham currently being documented around the globe, but suppressed.

Furthermore, I cannot take a position one way or another regarding the above Report, only point to its existence and as a forewarning of what probably can be expected as government over-reach to be copied and implemented in other western culture countries regarding vaccines and vaccinations!

According to Vaccination Update Newsletter, March 6, 2018 edition, published by Judy Wilyman, PhD:

In Australia the Medical Board of Australia (MBA) has removed the autonomy of doctors and nurses to advise their patients on vaccination based on their experiences and knowledge of vaccines. This is being done by linking the promotion of government vaccination programs to their medical registration.

This is contrary to their own Good Practice Guidelines in medicine based on the Geneva Convention. [….]

The MBA is currently investigating doctors, some with 40 years experience of clinical practice in using vaccines, based on allegations that “they are undermining a protective health program”.

Yet the MBA and the Australian Government did not provide evidence for the necessity to use 16 vaccines when they linked financial benefits to this intervention and removed conscientious and religious exemptions at the same time.

Dr. Wilyman’s Doctor of Philosophy degree was granted on the basis of her research titled” A critical analysis of the Australian government’s rationale for its vaccination policy,” which apparently literally has “pissed off” the vaccine/vaccination pushers and their cabal of Big Pharma and vaccine manufacturers—including their money and vested interest groups, lobby groups and rabid human rights deniers.

Has Australia inadvertently returned to its original intent as founded, a penal colony for the British?

New South Wales, a state in southeast Australia, was founded by the British as a penal colony in 1788. Over the next 80 years, more than 160,000 convicts were transported to Australia from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales, in lieu of being given the death penalty.
