And at that time Michael the great prince shall stand up, that stands over the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of tribulation, such tribulation as has not been from the time that there was a nation on the earth until that time: at that time thy people shall be delivered, even every one that is written in the book.”

Rabbi: How Can You Not Notice the Signs of Messiah?

By Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz

July 30, 2018

Here stand I and the children Hashem has given me as signs and portents in Yisrael from the LORD of Hosts, who dwells on Mount Tzion.” Isaiah 8:18 (The Israel Bible™)

Several rabbis are pointing to last week’s rare lunar eclipse and continued earthquakes as a divine pre-Messianic wake-up call. In fact, it isn’t only the rabbis. Even Arab sources are labeling the recent earthquakes as part of the end-of-days conflict centered around Jerusalem.

On Friday, Israel witnessed two natural phenomena: a 4.2 magnitude earthquake struck the northern Kinneret area at noon and as the sun set, a total lunar eclipse hung overhead, turning the moon deep crimson. The eclipse was remarkably rare: the longest lunar eclipse seen over the skies of Israel in more than a century.

The earthquake was remarkable, but not for its rarity. It was the second of the week and the most recent in a series that has shaken northern Israel in the past several weeks. On a practical level, this is alarming since Israel is situated along the Syrian-African rift, a tear in the earth’s crust running the length of the border separating Israel from Jordan, extending from northern Syria to Mozambique. The last major earthquake in Israel struck in 1927, a 6.2-magnitude tremor that killed 500 people and injured another 700. Experts have warned a large earthquake could strike Israel in the near future, and the government has begun funding projects for public buildings to be bolstered against tremors.

If the recent wave of earthquakes are a sign of things to come, it may have Messianic meaning. Massive earthquakes in Israel are prophesied to accompany the multinational Gog and Magog conflict that will signal the end of times.

“On that day, when Gog sets foot on the soil of Yisrael—declares Hashem—My raging anger shall flare up.For I have decreed in My indignation and in My blazing wrath: On that day, a terrible earthquake shall befall the land of Yisrael. The fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the beasts of the field, all creeping things that move on the ground, and every human being on earth shall quake before Me. Mountains shall be overthrown, cliffs shall topple, and every wall shall crumble to the ground.” Ezekiel 38:18-20

Rabbi Haim Shvili, a 20th-century Jewish mystic, described precisely how these earthquakes will play out. In “Cheshbonot HaGeula” (Accountings of the Redemption), Rabbi Shvili’s book of predictions concerning the Messiah published in 1935, he assessed that these earthquakes will come during the holiday of Sukkot, coinciding with the War of Gog and Magog. Rabbi Shvili noted that the seismic activity will specifically target Muslim and Christian sites, destroying pagan temples and monuments to foreign gods throughout Israel.

Surprisingly, the Arabs also seem to believe that the current earthquakes are a part of an imminent conflict between Israel and its enemies in manner identical to that described by Rabbi Shvili. Maal Zakarna, a columnist for Jordan’s Ad-Dustour daily newspaper, recently wrote about the earthquakes in Israel, blaming them on the IDF.

“It could be that they were caused by experimental explosions carried out by the Israeli occupation’s army at a certain depth under the Kinneret,” he wrote. The IDF’s goal, according to Zakarna was to perpetrate “a major criminal action against sites in occupied Jerusalem which are holy to Islam and Christianity, and especially against the Al-Aqsa mosque, Dome of the Rock, and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre…[to] create a pre-planned earthquake to destroy them in preparation for creating a Holy Temple in the attempt to Judaize Jerusalem.”

Rabbi Yosef Berger, the Rabbi of King David’s Tomb on Mount Zion, feels that signs the Messiah is imminent are so prevalent they cannot be ignored.

“It is impossible to say specifically what is the meaning of heavenly signs but it is absurd to ignore the signs when they are clearly happening, and happening in a most unusual manner,” Rabbi Berger told Breaking Israel News. “In addition to the earthquakes and the lunar eclipse, a huge stone fellfrom the Western Wall on the day after the Tisha B’Av fast,” Berger said. “God put the sun and the moon in the heavens as signs, for us to pay attention to. With all these signs coming together, how can you not pay heed?”

“Hashem said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate day from night; they shall serve as signs for the set times—the days and the years;” Genesis 1:14

Rabbi Berger pointed out that there was skepticism toward the many predictions made about thetotal solar eclipse that traversed the continental United States last summer. Nonetheless, the predictions proved accurate when, directly after the eclipse, the U.S. was struck by a series of catastrophic hurricanes, conforming precisely to the dire predictions.

Berger speculated about the implications of last week’s lunar eclipse.

“A lunar eclipse is specifically mentioned in the Talmud as a bad omen for Israel,” he said. “Israel has omens but can transcend them through our connection to Torah and mitzvot (Torah commandments).”

The rabbi cited the Book of Jeremiah to illustrate his point.

“Thus said Hashem: Do not learn to go the way of the nations, And do not be dismayed by portents in the sky; Let the nations be dismayed by them!” Jeremiah 10:2

“The sun and the moon can be omens of evil but the only for people for whom these omens are fixed and unchangeable, those who worship the sun and the moon. Our current incarnation of idolaters are people who believe that science rules the world and is more important than God.”

Rabbi Berger noted that the timing of the lunar eclipse may have indicated something about the event and its prophetic implications.

“The fact that the lunar eclipse happened directly after Tu B’Av, actually began during the daytime of Tu B’Av, may indicates that this is a case of hamtakat hadinim (sweetening of judgements),” Rabbi Berger said.

Friday was Tu B’Av, the fifteenth day of the Hebrew month Av. Coming after the somber fast of Tisha B’Av, the ninth of Av, that commemorates the destruction of both Temples, Tu B’Av is described in the Mishna (oral tradition) as a joyous “holiday of love.”

With regard to the recent earthquakes and possibility of further ones, Rabbi Berger suggested a possible explanation. “Though they could come in a disastrous manner that harms Israel, if we attach ourselves to hashem (God, literally ‘the name’) this could be sweetened.”

Rabbi Levi Sudri, an award-winning Bible expert, also felt the series of natural phenomena had great import but what it is exactly is still hidden. He noted that this hiddenness was the common point connecting the lunar eclipse and the earthquakes.

“The moon, by its nature, is about being hidden, about an inner modesty,” Rabbi Sudri told Breaking Israel News. “That is an important trait of Israel, which is why we set our calendar by the moon. The moon becoming full is a reference to pregnancy, which is something developing in a hidden manner.”

“An earthquake indicates that changes are happening deep inside the earth, hidden from human eyes,” Sudri said. “Convulsions under the waters of the Kinneret is clearly a hint of something being born.”

“If you look at it from the outside, a woman giving birth appears to be dying,” Sudri said. “If you look at what is happening in the world, in Syria and Gaza in particular, you would think that something awful is about to happen. But what is happening below the surface is that something wonderful is being born: Moshiach (Messiah).”

(There are obvious points in this article in which we are in disagreement. It should also be noted that the Rabbis and religious Jews believe Ezekiel 38 and 39 is referring to the battle of Gog and Magog which is brought out in Revelation 20:7-9. Ezekiel 38 and 39 is referring to the battle of Armageddon. Ed)

200 LEADING RABBIS CALL GAYS ‘PERVERTS,’ OPPOSE GAY SURROGACY

The letter caused outrage among liberal leaders and organizations, who castigated the rabbis and called for any of them on the public payroll to be fired.

More than 200 rabbis from the national-religious sector – some prominent leaders of their community – published an extraordinarily vitriolic and bitter condemnation of surrogacy and adoption for gays on Thursday, describing homosexuals as “perverts.”
The letter on Thursday caused outrage among liberal leaders and organizations, who castigated the rabbis and called for any of them on the public payroll to be fired.

The rabbis’ letter was signed by the most prominent leaders of the hardline wing of the national-religious community, including Rabbi Dov Lior; president of the Har Hamor Yeshiva Rabbi Tzvi Tau; Chief Rabbi of Safed Shmuel Eliyahu; co-dean of the Eli pre-military academy Rabbi Yigal Levenstein; dean of the Ateret Yerushalayim Yeshiva Rabbi Shlomo Aviner; and Rabbi Ouri Cherki, an educator in the Machon Meir yeshiva.
The rabbis said they were writing in defense of Chief Rabbi of Jerusalem Aryeh Stern who said earlier this week that allowing surrogacy for gay couples would cause “children to be born and enter a very strange and unnatural life, a life without a mother and father,” and that these children’s lives would become “wretched.”
Stern’s comments came against the background of the fierce opposition expressed by large sectors of the public to the new surrogacy law passed last Thursday in the Knesset, which extended access to surrogacy to include single women but not single men or gay couples.
The 200 signatories on Thursday’s letter wrote that Stern had spoken “simply about the eternal truth of our holy Torah and human normalcy, which the healthy majority of the State of Israel identifies with, and which is outraged by the provocations of the organizations of abomination, who carry out impudent marches in the cities of Israel and even arrange marches of abomination on the Fast of Av, a day of national mourning for the Temple which was destroyed in part due to illicit sexual relations and baseless hatred.”
Demonstrators in favor of gay surrogacy took to the streets of Tel Aviv on Sunday to protest the amended legislation, with tens of thousands turning out for the protest.

The rabbis continued in their letter to say that “the aggressive terror which accompanies the media’s brainwashing” designed to “destroy the concept of family and turn perverts into heroes will not succeed, and nor will the attempt to silence rabbis and sane people and turn them into delusional extremists.”
“Rabbi Aryeh Stern came out in defense of the children of Israel who will become wretched if they are not adopted by normative families,” they said, adding that their comments and Stern’s were designed to ensure that children are given “the basic right to live in natural, normative families and grow up to be normal and psychologically healthy.”
Yesh Atid MK Yael German said that the rabbis, instead of calling for unity, were trying to claim ownership over the concept of family and determine what is normative and what is a perversion.
“The time has come for them to realize that the national-religious community also has homosexuals, lesbians, bisexuals and transgender people, and no letter will change the fact that they are totally normative and want to live a full and equal life out of the closet,” said German.
Meretz MK Michal Rozin said that the rabbis had “missed the train” since Israeli society is “progressive and understands that love has many diverse colors, and benighted rabbis will be left behind, and they are in a panic.”
The Israel Be Free secularist group described the rabbis’ missive as a “letter of the ayatollahs,” and said that it could only be interpreted as a call for violence against the entire LGBT community.
“A large number of this group of crazies receive a wage from the State of Israel, and the silence of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked testifies to the fact that they do not intend to do a thing to stop these men of religion who have no god,” said the organization in response.

Look closely and you'll see Jared Kushner's cynical ‘deal of the century’ for Palestinians in action

Their hearts may be empty but their stomachs shall be filled. Their hopes may be dead but their bank accounts will be in the black

Robert Fist

Hindsight is unfair – but it might tell the truth. First, Donald Trump proclaims Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, thus depriving the Palestinians of their capital in the east of the city. The Palestinians are appalled. Mahmoud Abbas says he will no longer talk to the United States. So Trump rages that “we pay the Palestinians hundreds of millions of dollars a year and get no appreciation or respect.” It was only a tweet, but he means it. Those ungrateful Palestinian wretches! And he cuts $300m from America’s aid to the refugees, giving the oppressed and besieged and dispossessed Palestinians a mere $60m.

Already the United Nations Relief and Works Agency – recipients of international aid for 5.3 million Palestinian refugees – is having to get rid of its employees, 113 of them in Gaza alone last week. Unrwa has been caring for the Palestinians since 1949, and already has a current deficit of $49m. Its 30,000 Palestinian doctors, nurses, teachers and other staff face unemployment. Starvation thus threatens even more of the tired, poor and huddled masses of Gaza. One 53-year-old father of six has just been told he’s got no job after 32 years working for Unwra.

But wait. Help is at hand. For did not Jared Kushner, son-in-law of the aforesaid Trump and giver of a future peace “deal of the century” to Palestinians and Israelis alike, promise a better life for the losing side?

Why, he did indeed. Just a month ago. Let me quote: “I believe that Palestinian people are less invested in the politicians’ talking points that they are in seeing how a deal will give them and their future generations new opportunities, more and better paying jobs and prospects for a better life.” I’ve remarked before that this is cash for peace instead of land for peace – dollars instead of a Palestinian capital in Jerusalem, an end to Jewish colonisation, a “right of return”, and so on. A truly Trumpian solution.

But the playback of chronological events makes the “deal” even more cynical. First Trump gives Jerusalem to the Israelis. Then, when the Palestinians dare to complain, he cuts their humanitarian aid and drives them to despair. Then, courtesy of young Jared, Trump offers to shower them with money in the “ultimate deal” if they will just stop making these exorbitant, irrational, antisemitic, Nazi-like and racist demands for statehood, dignity and an end to colonisation.

Their hearts may thus be empty but their stomachs shall be filled. Their hopes may be dead but their bank accounts will be in the black. Instead of all the gloom and violence fostered by their corrupt political leaders who can neither pay nor feed their people, the Palestinians can walk tall with “new opportunities… better-paying jobs and prospects for a better life”. Yes, do watch the “prospects” bit.

And with that much lolly floating around, there won’t be any need for Unwra, will there? Because there will be no more poverty-stricken refugees. For the refugees will be well-off, if not rich, with all those better-paying jobs and “prospects”. Goodbye the middens of Gaza. Goodbye all threats to Israel. And since the same financial salvation will be available to the Palestinians of the West Bank, why should its inhabitants care any more about the campaign of Israeli land theft which engulfs them? Just remember the dog-day destitution of the summer of 2018 when even Unwra could no longer relieve their oppression.

The equation is impossible to conceal. When the Palestinians objected to the destruction of their political aspirations – refused to “talk peace” in the obscene semantics of the Americans and Israelis – they would be quite deliberately impoverished. “With the Palestinians no longer willing to talk peace,” Trump said, “why should we make any of these massive future payments to them?”

More than half of Gaza’s 2 million population, with a 44 per cent unemployment rate, are dependent on Unwra. The Palestinian cause, in other words – and one Unwra staffer put it like this – must be replaced with a humanitarian cause. Peace will therefore be economic, rather than political.

The Saudis and Emiratis and Egyptians are being hustled to share in this new Levantine bonanza. Electricity stations paid for by Abu Dhabi, Egyptian duty free shops in Raffah, Saudi shares in Palestinian firms; dreams, perhaps, but suitable for the masses.

In some ways, it’s back to the old fantasy of a Dubai in the West Bank, a Singapore in Gaza, which Shimon Peres used to espouse and which even the lamentable John Kerry suggested. For who now remembers the forgotten Secretary of State’s $4bn economic “plan for Palestine” which he proposed at the World Economic Forum more than five years ago? The same old Abbas was then, too, being told he “must” restart negotiations with Israel, as Kerry waffled on about a “ground-breaking plan to develop a healthy, sustainable, private sector-led Palestinian economy ... bigger, bolder and more ambitious than anything proposed since Oslo more than 20 years ago.” But then at least Kerry was offering a Palestinian state in return for Abbas’s compliance.

Nothing, however, is “groundbreaking” about the Trump “deal of the century” today, except the continued breaking of ground for new Jewish “settlements”, as we still must call them, on the hilltops of the West Bank. But I suppose if they’re less hungry, better fed, look forward to better jobs and “prospects” for the future and don’t have the nightmare Unwra to watch over them, the Palestinians will be able to reflect how much worse off they’d be if they had their own state, borders, security, East Jerusalem and no more Israeli colonies on occupied Palestinian land.

Jesus Christ! Open the door!’ Terrifying VIDEO from Mexico plane crash emerges online

August 1, 2018

A passenger has shared the recording of what appear to be the last seconds of Aeromexico Flight 2431 and the panic that followed the crash. The man, a Christian pastor, also appeared to accuse authorities of a cover-up.

The video shows the Embraer 190 jet with 103 on board trying to take off in a rainstorm at Durango airport, failing to achieve altitude, and crashing back down, several hundred yards beyond the runway, all in a matter of seconds.

During the two-minute clip, a scream can be heard in the background, even before the plane has finished its takeoff, and after the camera juts following the crash, there are loud calls to God, and more urgent instructions of “Open the Door!”

The footage was reportedly filmed by Ramin Parsa, an Iranian-born convert to Christianity, and has since been widely reposted on Twitter.

“I’m fine by the grace of God. It’s a miracle of God that we are alive. I owe my life to Jesus. The devil thought he can take my life but he just made me more committed to Jesus,” he wrote on his Twitter.

Authorities say that 98 of those aboard the jet, which was destined for Mexico City, were injured, but that no one died, and more than 60 people have already left hospital.

But Parsa appears to claim there has been a hush-up.

I was in the airplane Aeroméxico flight #2431 in Durango when it crashed, it’s a miracle of God that I am alive. The authorities are lying. 5 people dudes, many injured and burned.

— Ramin Parsa (@ramin_parsa) 1 August 2018

“The authorities are lying. 5 people dudes [dead?], many injured and burned,” he posted.

Meanwhile, civil aviation officials have told the media that they have recovered both flight recorders and should be able to decipher the events that led to the rapid crash.

Putin: Christianity is the foundation of the Russian state

July 28, 2018

MOSCOW — Vladimir Putin says the adoption of Christianity more than 1,000 years ago in territory that later became Russia marked the starting point for forming the Russian nation itself.

Putin’s comments came Saturday in a ceremony marking the 1,030th anniversary of the adoption by Christianity by Prince Vladimir, the leader of Kievan Rus, a loose federation of Slavic tribes that preceded the Russian state.

Speaking to thousands of clergy and believers at a huge statue of the prince outside the Kremlin, Putin said adopting Christianity was “the starting point for the formation and development of Russian statehood, the true spiritual birth of our ancestors, the determination of their identity. Identity, the flowering of national culture and education.”

The comments underline the strong ties between Putin’s government and the Russian Orthodox Church.

Banning Christianity: Thousands of Churches Forced to Close After Issuance of Government Directive

By Nate Brown

August 1, 2018

The Government forcibly closed thousands of Churches in Rwanda after the Rwanda Governance Board issued a decree claiming that the churches do not meet the newly established requirements.

Following the decree, Rwanda’s pro-government KT press reported that more than eight thousands churches were forced to close. Furthermore, the new obligations set in place by the secular government are complicating the congregation’s efforts to comply.

“On checking which churches were included, we learned that all churches are suffering the same fate, and that even churches considered luxurious for local standards have had to close,” a local analyst, who wished to remain anonymous, stated while speaking to the World Watch Monitor.

When the decree was issued, church services were ongoing while government enforcement agencies directed them to leave the building as they forcibly closed thousands of churches.

One congregation was stopped from housing services and other meetings, such as Bible study and home groups, which they were using because their church was closed. The reasoning behind the inability to utilize their own church was because the building had timber instead of a metal door and window frames, plus they were told that the church’s roof needed to be elevated “just a little.”

“It seems that the local authorities in the different districts initially had some freedom about the degree to which they could enforce the new requirements,” the local analyst said. “However, it now seems that those who were more lenient have been rebuked and have become stricter. In one district authorities banned all meetings of a closed church, and congregants are not even allowed to meet in home groups.”

One congregation is being forced to walk over twelve miles to a neighboring community to attend church services.

The following is a list of the newly established requirements;

  • Toilets being a certain distance from the church entrance. In one instance local authorities entered the church halfway through the service and ordered the people to leave because the church would be closed. This church has fulfilled 80% of the requirements and was not aware of this new requirement.

  • Congregations have been told they also need to install a certain kind of canvas ceiling, even though that material carries a considerable fire hazard.

  • One church was told it needed to change its roof and rebuild one of the brick walls. This will be hard for them to do as they have already been forced to make loans and depend on the goodwill of businessmen to meet the initial requirements.

  • Church access roads as well as church compounds need to be paved. The inside walls and ceilings in the church must be plastered and painted. Exposed brick is not allowed anymore.

  • All churches must have lightning-conductors.

  • All pastors now need to have a theological degree. This was already communicated as a requirement, but now the degree needs to be from an accredited institute.

  • Another new law states that only institutions that also teach science and technology can teach theology, meaning that few of the many (often highly regarded) theological institutions or Bible schools are regarded as valid.

The decree has not even been “officially approved” yet, however, the government is enforcing it upon local congregations which have already taken out loans to comply.

Rwanda does have a clause in their constitution under article thirty-seven which was amended in 2015. After the government forcibly closed the churches, Prof. Anastase Shyaka, Chief Executive Officer of Rwanda Governance Board, claimed on television despite the closures Rwandan’s still have their right to religion guaranteed.

Furthermore, over the last several months the citizenry has noticed a marked increase in the practice of secularism within their country;

  • They no longer allow prayer meetings in government institutions, which used to be very common.

  • Words referring to the Christian faith have been removed from the preamble of the Constitution.

  • During the commemoration of the genocide, neither pastors nor priests (who used to play a prominent role in past commemoration events), can speak or preach any more, unless the event is organized by a church.

  • Two Sundays per month, main roads are closed, meaning that many people cannot reach their church. Church attendance has declined.

  • Many Rwanda Patriotic Front (the ruling political party) meetings and other activities that may be compulsory are arranged for Sundays.

As a result of the closures and the newly declared government ruling, six pastors have been detained for allegedly plotting to defy the government. Although, the pastors were released the incident goes to show that leniency of the newly illegal restrictions will not be tolerated.

Christians all over the world face oppression and persecution, it is vital that we pray peace over their situations and take legal action against similar instances coming to fruition in the United States of America.

Furthermore, similar secular practices are happening in China, as the Christian Journal has recently covered. However, while many other nations are attempting to regulate Christians out of Church, it is vital that Christians remember what Scripture declares; “for where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” – Matthew 18:20

Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau Legalized ‘State-Sponsored Child Abuse’ With Bill C-16 Panel Claims

By Nate Brown

July 31, 2018

A panel, comprised of journalist Barbara Kay, lawyer Jared Brown, free speech advocate Lindsay Shepherd and organizer Sarina Singh, claims that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau opened the door to “State-sponsored child abuse” by enshrining the “false and unscientific” gender ideology into law in Bill C-16.

The general discussion took place, one year after the bill became law, on July 18th, 2018. Even after now famous Toronto psychologist Jordan Peterson warned the government they still passed the law.

“Let me get this out of the way: gender is binary and not a social construct,” sex neuroscientist Dr. Debra Soh told the crowd of 725 at Canada’s Christian College to a burst of applause.

“Children should not be used as pawns to further this agenda.”

Canada, in Bill C-16, has made it illegal, with a punishment of imprisonment or bankruptcy, to deny gender theory. Further, the Mainstream Media supported the radical ideology wholeheartedly and aided in the government’s purported support of ‘state-sponsored’ child abuse.

Attorney Jared Brown, last year, stood before the Senate and argued against the outlandish bill. Brown said that a “small cadre of trans activists” have “made a successful revolution” by enforcing a social construct into law.

Furthermore, punishment for denying gender theory can include fines as directed by a human rights tribunal. Also, the tribunal can sentence an individual to “sensitivity training.”

Human Right’s tribunals are now dealing with an onslaught of gender identity cases, including cases such as a man who wished to identify as “the king” and was upset because his “monarchy and authority was discriminated against.”

While “the king” lost, such claims flow logically from Bill C-16, which does not define gender expression and identity “to make the law as inclusive as possible,” Brown noted.

Also, the law removes a person’s right to debate the theory of gender. Should a person wish to question or criticize the law, that person is then in violation of such.

For example, a Wilfred Laurier University faculty member infamously accused a teaching assistant of transgressing Bill C-16 for showing students a video debate between Peterson and a transgender activist on the topic of gender identity, but not forewarning them of Peterson’s views.

To remove the right to debate is an assault on free speech, furthermore to punish individuals because they decide to question a law is tyrannical.

The bill in and of itself is an assault on free speech and paves the way towards societal anarchy because it allows for outlandish social constructs to become law.

In addition to the radical case regarding “the king,” the law is having a very real impact on Christianity and Religious Freedom as well. A Canadian Christian school was forced to censor The Word of God, by the division it joined in 2009.

The former private school issues a handbook to students and within that handbook are two verses that ‘the agenda of tolerance’ wholeheartedly disagree with. The verses under fire speak the truth against modern day culture and are meant to separate Christians from the world.

The scriptures deemed inappropriate are 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 and Galatians 5:19-21, both of which criticize the works of the flesh and call out sexual sin.

Furthermore, Bill C-16 and others are forcing Christians out of work. Christian medial professionals are requesting that the Prime Minister grant those with moral convictions “equal freedoms and access to employment.”

Robert Walley, the executive director of MaterCare, in an open letter to Trudeau is claiming that Canadian regulations are unfairly targeting people of faith by enforcing practices that discriminate against Christians.
“Medical students, residents, and physicians have begun to experience discrimination through denial of their right to practice according to their consciences if they do not accept your government’s dictatorial policies with the consequence their recruitment into programs and positions are obstructed, though they equally qualified,” he wrote.

Canada has allowed for social constructs to become law, and such is having a drastic effect on the populace. From outlandish legal cases to illegitimate inquiries, Canada is rolling out tyrannical rule through bills like C-16.

Priceless royal crowns stolen in Sweden, thieves get away on motor boat

August 1, 2018

Swedish police have mobilized its land, sea and air forces to catch two men who stole two 17th century royal crowns and an orb from a church in broad daylight on Tuesday before making a daring escape in a motor boat.

In what looks more like a Hollywood movie plot than real-word crime news, crowns belonging to two 17th-century members of the Swedish Royal family – King Karl (Charles) IX and Queen Kristina (Christina) – were stolen by two perpetrators as they raided a church in the country's southeast. The burglars also took a royal orb, a traditional symbol of monarchical power in the form of an orb surmounted by a cross.

Police say the burgled regalia are "invaluable objects of national interest" and cannot be given a price tag.

Having taken the national treasures on Tuesday afternoon, with the staff present in the church, the perpetrators promptly jumped into a small motor boat moored below the church and made away with the loot. They are still on the run despite a wide-ranging police hunt for them.

The crowns and the orb were reportedly exhibited in locked glass cases, which ultimately proved no match for the two thieves. Queen Kristina, who ruled Sweden from 1632 to 1654, and Karl IX, the King of Sweden in 1604-1611, were buried wearing the now-stolen crowns, but the regalia were later put on display for churchgoers.

Police have appealed to the public for any information that may lead to the men's arrest. So far, the pursuit has been in vain, with police spokesman Thomas Agnevik admitting that "it's 1-0 to them right now."

There is even no definitive description of what the thieves' "small and open motorboat," which the police are searching for, looks like.

"We have some different information about how exactly the boat looked. We are now examining all the tips we receive,"Agnevik said, as cited by the Daily Mail.

Police believe that the perpetrators might have abandoned the motorboat, changed into a car and are either going west, or east towards the capital Stockholm.

Since it's unclear what road the suspects could have possibly taken, the police seek to cover all escape routes.

"We are spreading out in all directions," Agnevik told The Sydney Morning Herald.

Great Pyramid of Giza can concentrate electromagnetic energy - study

July 31, 2018

FILE PHOTO © Mohamed Abd El Ghany / Reuter

New research from an international team of physicists has revealed that the Great Pyramid of Giza may be able to focus electromagnetic energy through its hidden chambers and under its base.

Scientists at Itmo University in Russia and Germany’s Laser Zentrum Hannover applied methods of theoretical physics to investigate the electromagnetic response of the ancient Egyptian pyramid to radio waves.

Their calculations predicted that in a resonant state the pyramid could concentrare electromagnetic energy in its internal chambers as well as under its base, where the third unfinished chamber is located.

The Great Pyramid is the largest and most complex of the pyramids on the plateau of Giza. Last year a 30-meter-long hidden chamber was discovered inside, adding to the mystery surrounding the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and prompting new studies into the legendary Egyptian structure.

"Egyptian pyramids have always attracted great attention. We as scientists were interested in them as well, so we decided to look at the Great Pyramid as a particle dissipating radio waves resonantly," Dr. Andrey Evlyukhin, study co-author explained.

The research team created a 3D model of the pyramid and used analytical methods of theoretical physics to come up with their conclusions. In order to explain the results, the scientists conducted a multipole analysis - a method widely used in physics to study the interaction between a complex object and electromagnetic field.

Due to the lack of information about the physical properties of the pyramid, researchers had to work off a number of assumptions - including that there are no unknown cavities inside, and the building material with the properties of an ordinary limestone is evenly distributed in and out of the pyramid.

“With these assumptions made, we obtained interesting results that can find important practical applications," Evlyukhin said. The team is now hoping to create a similar concentrating effect on a nanoscale size. These nanoparticles could then be used for the development of sensors and highly efficient solar cells.

"Choosing a material with suitable electromagnetic properties, we can obtain pyramidal nanoparticles with a promise for practical application in nanosensors and effective solar cells," study co-author Polina Kapitainova said.

The study has been published in the Journal of Applied Physics.

Iran Preparing Massive Military Exercise To "Demonstrate Ability" To Block Persian Gulf: Report

By Tyler Durden

August 1, 2018

After days of heated barbs exchange back and forth between Washington and Tehran, Iran's elite Islamic Revolutionary Guard forces are expected to begin a major exercise in the Persian Gulf as soon as the next 48 hours, which could be aimed at demonstrating their ability to shut down the Strait of Hormuz, CNN reports citing two US officials.

"We are aware of the increase in Iranian naval operations within the Arabian Gulf, Strait of Hormuz and Gulf of Oman. We are monitoring it closely, and will continue to work with our partners to ensure freedom of navigation and free flow of commerce in international waterways," Captain William Urban, chief spokesman for US Central Command, told CNN.

The Strait of Hormuz - a strategically critical passageway linking the Persian Gulf to the Arabian Sea which is crucial to shipping of global energy supplies - has emerged as a focal point in the escalating war of words between presidents Trump and Rouhani, after Iran threatened to block off the Persian Gulf if the US proceeds with fully implementing oil export sanctions on Iran.

Officials told CNN that while the US sees no immediate signs of hostile intent from Iran, the IRGC show of force has US military intelligence "deeply concerned" for three fundamental reasons according to officials:

  • The exercise comes as rhetoric from the IRGC towards the US has accelerated in recent days.

  • It appears the IRGC is ramping up for a larger exercise this year than similar efforts in the past.

  • The timing is unusual. These types of IRGC exercises typically happen much later in the year.

In the US military's assessment, the IRGC has assembled a fleet of more than 100 boats, many of them small fast moving vessels. It's expected Iranian air and ground assets including coastal defensive missile batteries could be involved, while hundreds of Iranian troops are expected to participate and some regular Iranian forces could be involved as well.

The IRGC exercise comes as the US has only one major warship, the USS The Sullivans inside the Persian Gulf, several officials say. Other US warships are nearby and there are numerous combat aircraft in the region.

The US military has been trying to encourage other nations in the region, especially Saudi Arabia to take a strong line on keeping the Gulf open in the face of rising Iranian rhetoric. They have also expressed concern about keeping open the waterways off Yemen where Iranian backed rebels have attacked oil tankers.

Defense Secretary James Mattis, responding to rising Iranian rhetoric said on Friday, "Iran has threatened to close the Strait of Hormuz. They've done that previously in years past. They saw the international community put -- dozens of nations of the international community put their naval forces in for exercises to clear the straits."

And the punchline:

"Clearly, this would be an attack on international shipping, and -- and it would have, obviously, an international response to reopen the shipping lanes with whatever that took, because of the world's economy depends on that energy, those energy supplies flowing out of there."

And with the public response to any attack on Syria now virtually nil after two consecutive military strikes, if Trump feels he is in urgent need of an international distraction from mounting domestic problems, namely the upcoming conclusion of the Mueller probe which now includes questions about obstruction of justice, Trump may have no choice than to aim for Iran... and outcome Israel would be delighted to assist with.

Netanyahu threatens Iran with ‘all Israel’s arms’ if Tehran blocks key waterway off Yemen

August 3, 2018

Benjamin Netanyahu has lashed out at Israel's arch-foe Iran, vowing that any attempt by Tehran to block the key waterway off Yemen’s coast would be met by force from the “international coalition” and Israel in particular.

The harsh statements by the Israeli PM, who was speaking at a graduation ceremony for naval officers on Wednesday, were referring to the recent Houthi attack on a Saudi oil tanker off Yemen’s western coast. The Saudi-led coalition has repeatedly said the Houthis are armed and supported by Iran, but both the group and Tehran deny the claims.

Yet, Netanyahu branded the incident “a sharp clash with Iran's atellites who tried to sabotage international shipping” at the mouth of the Red Sea. The Saudi-led coalition insists that its oil tanker was attacked by the Houthis in the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait located between Yemen and Eritrea and Djibouti on the Arabian Peninsula.

Nobody was injured and the damage posed no threat to the environment.

“If Iran tries to block the Straits of Bab al-Mandab, it will find itself facing an international coalition determined to prevent it from doing so, and this coalition will also include the State of Israel and all its arms,” Netanyahu warned.

Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman backed Netanyahu’s statements on Tehran, saying that “recently, we have heard of threats to harm Israeli ships in the Red Sea.” Speaking at the same ceremony he promised that the Israeli military is ready “to respond simultaneously on two fronts, and also on the Red Sea.”

“Only in that case we would be less selective and the harm to our enemies would be greater. I hope they take that into account,” he added.

The Saudi-led coalition has been waging a military campaign against Shia Houthi rebels in Yemen since March 2015, in an attempt to put the ousted Yemeni president Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi back in power. The intervention and blockade of the country has contributed to a massive humanitarian disaster. Since the start of the campaign, the coalition has been accused by human rights groups and activists of killing thousands of civilians but it has rarely accepted responsibility.

The Houthis, who control Yemen’s capital Sanaa and large parts in the north of the country, have been occasionally targeting Saudi oil facilities. In April, a Saudi oil tanker was also struck by Houthi rebels in the Red Sea, west of Yemen’s Hodeidah. The vessel sustained "minor damage" and continued on its route.

Kurds reach deal with Damascus to end Syria conflict

July 28, 2018

An alliance of Kurdish and Arab militants in Syria says it has come to an agreement with the Syrian government to develop negotiations to end violence in Syria.

The announcement was made after the so-called Syrian Democratic Council (SDC), the political wing of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), sent a delegation to Damascus for talks with Syrian officials earlier this week. The SDF, itself, is a US-backed coalition of mainly Kurdish militants.

The SDC said in a statement Saturday that it had agreed with the government of the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to form committees that would "chart a roadmap to a democratic, decentralized Syria.”

The SDC delegation visited Damascus for the first time after President Assad said that he was “opening doors” for negotiations with Syrian Kurds that he said had "apparently become wary" of their unpredictable ally - the United States.

The Kurds then expressed readiness to hand over control of the Eastern Euphrates to the government after Washington withheld its support for the Kurdish militants in the northern Syrian cities of Manbij and Afrin.

The SDC's co-chair Riad Darar said on Friday the talks with Damascus were aimed at "working towards a settlement for northern Syria," as it was time to "solve our problems ourselves."

The group, which is being supported by Washington, has already managed to form an autonomous administration in northern Syria during the country’s seven-year conflict.

Washington’s conflicting plans in Syria, however, have now prompted the Kurdish militants to turn to the government in Damascus.

Their presence in the area near the Turkish border has been a source of tension between the US and Turkey.

Ankara, which considers the Syrian Kurdish militants as an extension of Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) terrorists, has even threatened to “destroy all terror nests,” near the Syrian border.

It has vowed not to allow Kurdish groups to dominate Turkish border with Syria.

Refugees gather in Shebaa for return to Syria

On Saturday, hundreds of Syrian refugees residing in Hasbaya’s Shebaa and western Bekaa gathered in a schoolyard in Shebaa, waiting for buses departing to Syria, provided by the Syrian government.

The state-run National News Agency estimated that nearly 900 refugees assembled at Shebaa High School at 9 a.m., while General Security was present on site checking the names of the departees.

The buses are set to stop at the Masnaa border point before crossing into Syria. The group marks the fourth to depart from Lebanon.

Several groups had previously departed, particularly from the northeastern town of Arsal in initiatives organized by General Security.

Sale of S-400 to Turkey ‘catastrophic for US’ – Pompeo’s assistant

August 1, 2018

If Ankara buys the Russian-made S-400 anti-aircraft system, it would be catastrophic for the US and could imply a break-up with Turkey, a newly-picked assistant secretary of state told US lawmakers during confirmation hearings.

The pessimistic outlook on Washington’s quarrel with Ankara over the Russian weapon system came from René Clarke Cooper, nominated to be the assistant secretary of state for political-military affairs. Cooper spoke to the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee on Wednesday to convince them he is the right man to assist Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

At one point, Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) asked about the Russian-Turkish deal and US move to bar supply of F-35 fighter jets in retaliation.

“A sale of something like the S-400 would be catastrophic for us,”Cooper told Shaheen. “We do not want a NATO ally to be dependent upon the servicing and supply of equipment that is provided by Russia. That is for me an operational standpoint. The strategic standpoint is we don’t want a NATO ally to have a weapon system supplied by Russia.”
He conceded that if the long-standing cooperation between Turkey and the US were to be broken apart, it would be catastrophic too.

Cooper spoke hours before the White House announced sanctions against two Turkish ministers as part of the stand-off over Pastor Andrew Brunson, a US citizen held in custody by Ankara over his alleged support of the 2016 botched military coup. Turkish interior and justice minister were slapped with sanctions as Washington deemed them responsible for the detention of Brunson and violations of human rights. Ankara has previously vowed to respond with counter-sanctions.

US officials have repeatedly stated that Turkey’s purchase of the Russian long-range air defense system was against NATO’s interests and compromised the alliance. The 2019 National Defense Authorization Act passed in the Senate on Wednesday bars the supply of the advanced F-35 jets until the Pentagon and the State Department produce a report on US “military and diplomatic presence” in the country and the possible consequences of removing Turkey from the F-35 program altogether.

HUNGARIAN PM SLAMS ‘EUROPEAN ELITE,’ PREDICTS ILLIBERAL SHIFT IN EU LEADERSHIP

Hanna Bogorowski

July 28, 2018

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban doubled down on his criticism of the European Union’s handling of immigration in an annual speech Saturday, predicting a shift toward illiberal “Christian democracy” in the 2019 European Parliament.

Orban, a member of the conservative nationalist and populist Fidesz party, has been a vocal leader among other EU nations who are similarly rejecting the EU’s attempts to be more lenient on migration and asylum seekers specifically.

“Their big goal to transform Europe, to ship it into a post-Christian era, and into an era when nations disappear – this process could be undermined in the European elections. And it is our elementary interest to stop this transformation,” Orban said on Saturday in a speech to ethnic Hungarians in Romania, Reuters reported.

He slammed what he calls the Western political “elite” and accused them of failing to protect Europe from mass Muslim immigration, which he predicts will cause a shift in EU leadership in 2019.

“We are facing a big moment: we are saying goodbye not simply to liberal democracy … but to the 1968 elite,” he added.

Orban also said Friday in a radio interview that the next European Parliament should not punish countries who choose to protect their borders from immigrants, and instead should punish countries who let large amounts of immigrants into Europe, violating the existing rules of the EU.

“We need a new Commission… with a new approach,” Orban said on the radio.

Orban endorsed the founding of an anti-EU Movement group by Steve Bannon in a continuing effort to boost a nationalistic culture and an anti-immigrant vote for parliament in May 2019.

“The European elite is visibly nervous,” Orban told hundreds of supporters at the speech on Saturday.

Hungary followed in the United States’ footsteps on July 18 when Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto announced his country would back out of the United Nations migration pact, formally titled the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration, saying it would increase the number of migrants coming to Europe and calling it a “threat to the world.”

“This document is entirely against Hungary’s security interests,” Szijjarto said.

Orban and his Fidesz party, which holds a strong lead in opinion polls after it won national elections by a landslide in April, have made targeted attacks against U.S. billionaire philanthropist George Soros and his liberal charity groups, accusing them of promoting illegal immigration to undermine Christian values.

Hungary’s parliament passed a “STOP Soros” bill on June 20, which makes it illegal to help migrants not entitled to protection apply for asylum and also prohibits helping illegal migrants gain status to remain in Hungary.

Orban was re-elected for a third consecutive term in April, and European Parliamentary elections will be held in May 2019.

Viktor Orban: EU Should Punish Leaders Who Let Millions of Migrants into Europe

By Jim Hoft

July 29, 2018

Conservative Hungarian leader Viktor Orban told state radio on Friday that the EU should punish the leaders who let millions of migrants into Europe.

Millions of migrants have flooded Europe since Barack Obama set fire to the Middle East with his failed and irresponsible foreign policy.

“Viktor Orban, Hungary’s Prime Minister, says a new European Commission is needed with a new approach to migration policy, stating that the days of the current EU executive are “numbered” with its mandate expiring next May, Reuters reports.

He made the comments Friday to state radio and said the next Commission should not punish countries that protect their borders from migrants. Orban added that the new EU leadership should punish those who let millions of migrants into Europe in violation of the EU’s rules.

The Hungarian Prime Minister is one of the strongest opponents of the EU’s migration policy. The European Commission has stepped up a legal battle with Hungary over EU migration rules, claiming a new Hungarian law, criminalising support for asylum seekers, is illegal.

Orban’s response is that the Commission’s decision was insignificant as its mandate is running out: “We need a new Commission… with a new approach”.

God, help us’: British Army on standby in case of no-deal Brexit supply issues

July 29, 2018

© Russell Boyce/Reuters

Ministers planning Brexit told media the Army is on standby to deliver key supplies like food, fuel and medicines in the eventuality of a no-deal scenario. Remainers have likened the revelation to “self-immolation.”

The possibility of a no-deal Brexit made the Ministry of Defence “dust off” blueprints to use of army trucks and helicopters to deliver key supplies to far flung parts of the UK – something usually reserved for civil emergencies, like severe weather.

However a source inside the department said they have not yet received “a formal request” to assist the civilian authorities, according to the Sunday Times.

An unnamed minister downplayed the alarmist nature of the news to the paper, saying that the government was “just being realistic”about the potential pitfalls of a no-deal, adding that the army would only be called in if blockages at ports were preventing the supply of food, fuel, and medicines from entering the country.

“There is a lot of civil contingency planning around the prospect of no deal. That’s not frightening the horses, that’s just being utterly realistic,” they told the Times report.

Without securing a new Free Trade Agreement with the EU, a no-deal, the UK would revert to World Trade Organization rules resulting in the imposing of tariffs on goods that the UK sends to the EU, and on goods the EU sends to the UK.

This lack of “frictionless trade” could see a 10-mile-long motorway in south-east England turned into a “holding area” for goods vehicles, as up to 10,000 trucks a day would suddenly require customs checks to enter the EU, according to the Financial Times.

The pro-EU Labour MP David Lammy took aim at the news on Twitter saying: “God, help us. This is not coming from Remainers. This is not project fear. Pro-Brexit Ministers are drawing up blueprints for the army to deliver food, fuel and medicine if we leave the EU with no deal.”

“We have a duty to prevent this self-immolation,” he added.

However, the former Brexit secretary David Davis, who resigned from the position earlier this month over his dissatisfaction with a possible soft Brexit deal, dismissed the story as an attempt to scare people in order to secure a Free Trade Agreement “which will tank the economy.”

Talk of shortages of food and medicines in the wake of a possible no-deal has come to the fore recently, with NHS bosses planning to stockpile key drugs and blood supplies in the event the service has to go on a permanent winter-crisis footing.

Supermarkets, meanwhile have told suppliers to make plans for a no-deal which could see them stockpile goods such a tea and coffee for periods much longer than normal.

SPANISH POLICE WARN 50,000 MIGRANTS WAITING IN MOROCCO TO INVADE SPAIN

Pressure cooker” of human tidal wave ready to explode

Paul Joseph Watson | Infowars.com - JULY 31, 2018

Police sources are warning that 50,000 illegal migrants from sub-Saharan Africa are waiting in Morocco to invade Spain.

As we reported yesterday, boatloads of migrants are already washing up on Spanish beaches in scenes that have shocked observers.

Now according to a report in Spanish newspaper El Mundo, North Africa is becoming a “pressure cooker,” with at least 50,000 African migrants desperate to cross into the European country via the Strait of Gibraltar.

The report explains how criminal people smugglers are helping the migrants circumvent border controls in Morocco while telling them that Spain is their “paradise”.

The number of migrants waiting to storm Spain is currently at 50,000 and “continues to grow,” with the men becoming more “violent” in their efforts to reach Europe.

Spain has become the number one point of arrival for migrants crossing the sea to Europe in 2018, with over 21,000 arrivals so far, a process that has quickened after the country’s socialist government gave the green light for open borders.

These numbers are also extremely conservative given that governments are disincentivized from registering migrants thanks to an EU directive that only allows EU members to deport migrants to the very first member-state they arrived in.

As Breitbart reported, “The Dutch government has suggested that some two-thirds of illegal migrants who reach them have not previously been registered — suggesting the true migration figures could be far higher than the IoM numbers suggest.”

Last week, around 800 sub-Saharan migrants attempted to cross the border between Morocco and the Spanish enclave of Ceuta, throwing feces, burning quicklime, stones and Molotov cocktails at border police while using homemade flamethrowers and saws to dismantle barriers.

Around 600 of them succeeded in crossing the border. Video from the scene shows migrants wildly rampaging through the streets while screaming deliriously.

Electing the Cornered Tiger: Imran Khan in Pakistani Politics

By Dr. Binoy Kampmark

July 28, 2018
Tariq Ali, whilst having a lunch in Knightsbridge with the Pakistani cricket colossus, Imran Khan, suggested that retirement should not be too problematic for him. (Khan had seemed gloomy, deep in thought about post-retirement prospects at the age of 30.) Consider, posed Ali, film, or at the very least funding for a film institute. “You could be an enabler or you could act. A film with you in it would be a surefire hit and help fund more avant-garde productions.”
Khan did not bite. He preferred politics, an area which has its fair share of thespians staking their wares. His stewardship of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (Movement for Justice) has been in years in the making, a gradual yet relentless push into the limelight since its establishment in 1996. When first assuming the mantle of politician, he was a clear target of ridicule.

“Since he foreswore sport and sex for politics and piety about a decade ago,” went The Guardian in August 2005, “Khan’s form has been highly erratic.” After his divorce from Jemima Goldsmith after a nine-year marriage “he has edged his views ever closer to the fringes of Pakistan’s radicalised political spectrum.”
This Pakistani election is being seen as epochal and singular. As with others, there have been deaths, disruptions and accusations, the cries of an ill patient. Some 31 perished in a suicide bombing attack in Balochistan, predictably against a polling centre. But as the night chugged and throbbed with anticipation, the PTI began to lead at the half-way mark of counting with 113 seats.
As is seemingly genetic in the nature of Pakistani elections, slow counting and technical hurdles have supplied the disgruntled grounds for grievance. Allegations of rigging have been met by promises from Khan to investigate them. In the same breath, he has essentially put them to one side, the lamentations of the rightfully defeated. “If you think there has been rigging, we will assist you in the investigation if you have any doubts. We will stand by you. I feel that this election has been the fairest in Pakistan’s history.”
Despite his alluring sophistication (the ease with which this is described as “modern” has marked previous assessments of his bearing), those keen to see an enlightened leader gorged with the political principles of Western value stand to be baffled. Rafia Zakaria of Pakistan’s Dawn newspaper contends that “Khan’s ascent bodes poorly for Pakistani women”, given his promise in making Pakistan an Islamic state and his rejection of “Western feminism as an impediment to motherhood.”
In one sense, he is practical, keen on pursuing matters of governance rather than issues of ideology: Do not, for instance, remove blasphemy laws because doing so would release the lynch mobs. Those misusing such statutes would be punished. The orderly function of institutions is paramount.
He is far from keen to box the Taliban from diplomatic engagement and shackle the mullahs.

“For sixteen years,” he explained to Peter Oborne in an interview last year, the United States had “been trying to use [the military] to crush the Taliban movement and it has failed. And it will fail again.”

Sentiments of sympathy have been expressed for Afghanistan, a country with which he wishes to have open borders.
In a speech in Bani Gala, Khan declared victory, claiming that he had been vested with “a mandate”. It was one focused on the decay of the Pakistani state, a rotten entity that would only be healed by the vision of Madina, “where widows and the poor were taken care of”. Vast disparities between the indigent and the wealthy had to be overcome. “A country is not recognised by the lifestyle of the rich, but by the lifestyle of the poor.”
There have been bread-and-butter promises served with a populist crust. Institutions will be held accountable in an effort to fire lagging trust; farmers and the business community will be assisted; tax revenue will be “safeguarded” (always comforting); youth employment shall be encouraged, and government expenditure will be reduced.
In terms of foreign policy, Khan’s views are a bit of a mash that is bound to excite and disconcert a range of foreign capitals. To the US, he has expressed a view that drone strikes will be prohibited. Conciliatory approaches will be sought with both Iran and Saudi Arabia. “Saudi Arabia has stood by us in our toughest times. We would like to be a reconciliatory state and help them resolve their inner tensions.” Then comes the India-Pakistan relationship, one characterised by the normality of strife and discord. “The blame game that whatever goes wrong in Pakistan is because of India and vice versa bring us back to square one.”
A lingering, if crippling wisdom suggests how careful Khan will have to be. He has been – and in an era that spawns the likes of Donald Trump, this should hardly be surprising – injudicious with his opponents, berating those supporting former prime minister Nawaz Sharif as “donkeys”. A coalition will probably have to be sought; the sagacious manner displayed by him whilst cricket captain may well have to apply.
Overseeing the process of politicking and any effort at reform will be Pakistan’s meddling army, that self-proclaimed agent of stability that has done its fair to ignore elected representatives when it wanted to. That particular institution, argues Hamid Hussain in the Defence Journal (Jul 31), “views itself as a doctor that needs to administer medicine to the sick patient from time to time for the good of the patient even if he does not like the taste of medicine.” The new leader will just have to be mindful such medicine doesn’t have the effect of finishing off a patient of such ill-health. For the moment, it seems, Khan is in the good books of Dr Military.
Dr. Binoy Kampmark was a Commonwealth Scholar at Selwyn College, Cambridge. He lectures at RMIT University, Melbourne. He is a frequent contributor to Global Research and Asia-Pacific Research.

South Africa's land expropriation law: 'Devastating' for the country?

August 2, 2018

The proposed amendment to the South African constitution that will see farmers' land being seized without compensation will scare away foreign investors and imperil food security, head of Transvaal Agricultural Union told RT.

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa on Tuesday announced that the ruling African National Congress (ANC) would formally introduce an amendment into the parliament that would legalize redistribution of land, most of which has been owned by the country's white minority since the 1600s.

Ramaphosa cited the overwhelming support the controversial proposal received at public hearings, arguing that the expropriations would "unlock economic growth" and "bring more land in South Africa to full use."

Bennie Van Zyl, general manager of the Agricultural Union of South Africa (TAU SA), believes the result would be the exact opposite.

"For us, this is a pity that they've made their choice, because no one will invest in this economy and we actually need growth to address the realities of South Africa. So we have great concern for this approach," Van Zyl said.

He said that some foreign countries have already reached out to the union and warned they would have to pull the plug on investing in South Africa's agriculture if the expropriation law is enacted.

"A lot of foreign countries that have already contacted us as an organization say if that is the case, we are not willing to invest in your country anymore, " he said, lamenting the law is going to "kill" investment.

"And if the ANC goes through with this, it will be devastating for this country," he said.

Past experience of expropriation isn't reassuring, either, as many of the farms that have been handed over under the ANC have gone out of production.

It is estimated that the major share of the land transferred since the apartheid system's collapse in 1994 suffered a drop in production or is no longer cultivated. The Economist reported that about 70 percent of the eight million hectares of the redistributed land is now fallow.

Van Zyl says South Africa, a "very marginal agricultural country"compared to such giants as Russia, "cannot afford" this downward trend to continue, as it puts its food security in jeopardy.

The tremendous support that the ANC claims the land grab law has received, is an emotional reaction to populist rhetoric, without any thought of the adverse consequences, Van Zyl said. Instead of playing on the black population's emotions, politicians need to adopt a more level-headed approach in order to prevent the looming crisis, he believes.

"We need some rational thought in this country, this is not the way to go."

The ANC's handling of the redistribution issue is in line with the ruling party's long-term track record, fraught with unfulfilled promises.

"From the beginning they run this country by means of promises and by means of fear. And now, things are catching up with them. Every day we have a lot of strikes, violent strikes as people are not happy how things are going in this country."

Instead of tackling problems at hand, the ANC "still promise more things and more things" Van Zyl said.

He explained that the ANC was forced to adopt a more populist stance amid growing competition from The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), a radical far-left political party, that has been long rallying for the confiscation of white farmers' land.

"I think the EFF is busy challenging them too much and the ANC is trying to save themselves and that's what's going on now," Van Zyl said. He believes the ruling party wants to time the new law to the general elections coming up next year.

Greece wildfires called Europe’s ‘deadliest’ in a century as rising death toll hits 91

July 30, 2018

The blaze that reduced the area to the east of Greece’s capital to resemble a post-apocalyptic landscape has killed 91 people, the Greek officials confirmed. The death toll is likely to rise.
The Greek Fire Service said that 25 people are still missing following a horrifying human and environmental disaster that hit the country’s coastline close to Athens. The wildfires that devastated the southern European country last week were described as the deadliest in Europe since 1900, which makes them the worst such disaster in more than a century, according the Centre for the Research on the Epidemiology of Disasters in Brussels.
The Greek authorities suspect that arson may have caused the fire and the government has come under criticism over its alleged lack of preparation for the fire season as well as over its inadequate infrastructure management.

More than 2,000 homes were damaged in the fire, Greek officials said on Friday, adding that about a quarter of these would have to be demolished. The popular seaside resort of Mati was one of the places most severely hit by the blaze.

Photos taken at the site of the devastating fires show buildings totally burned-out from the ground floor to the roof and turned into ruins. The soil around some of the residential areas is apparently still smoldering and plumes of smoke can still be seen over the heaps of ash.
Some buildings have been reduced to masses of warped metal and wreckage. In others, nothing has been left but blackened walls and ashes. The raging fires turned entire neighborhoods into post-apocalyptic landscapes.

The streets of Mati, which are still covered in ash, are also filled with lines of burned-out cars. The blaze left behind nothing but scorched-black desert, burned-out houses and cars, and dead forests.

Firefighters and volunteers have been scouring the area for the people still missing. Many of the bodies recovered so far are badly burned, which will make identification difficult. Drone footage captured earlier showed the sheer scale of the damage caused by the deadly wildfires that razed the Greek towns of Mati and Penteli.

Mati witnessed many dramatic incidents earlier this week, such as when one man narrowly escaped the blaze that consumed his house in a matter of minutes.

At night I dreamt I was back home,’ says Russian climber rescued at 6300m after 6 days without food

July 31, 2018

/ Courtesy: Pakistan Army

A Pakistani helicopter narrowly avoided an accident to airlift Alexander Gukov from an altitude of 6300m on Latok-1, six days after he was trapped, when his climbing partner fell to his death in a doomed never-done-before ascent.

RT’s video news agency Ruptly became the first news outlet to speak to Gukov as he landed in Skardu, in northeast Pakistan. Asked about how he felt, as he still lay on his stretcher, the climber gave a glimpse into his confused and frantic state of mind on the sixth day of solitude.

“In the morning I was thinking, I have plenty dreams at night that I have already been at home. I think that maybe you also think that I am at home. I hope no, because I hope they don’t forget about me,” he said in English, voice still hoarse.

“Everybody, thank you for helping me,” added Gukov, saving special praise for the clearing weather that let the helicopter reach him.

Viktor Koval, a fellow climber who traveled on the rescue helicopter, said that Gukov was unable to produce anything but incoherent muttering until he was given a corticosteroid injection to reduce cerebral edema, the accumulation of water around his brain. As he regained his senses, the 42-year-old Gukov told Koval that after three days he became numb to the lack of food, but was “near-delirious,” afraid that the search helicopters would not spot him, particularly as he lost the energy to continuously dig himself out of the snow.

Gukov has been diagnosed with dehydration, exhaustion and starvation, but no critical frostbite, and hopes to avoid losing his toes. Following what Pakistani authorities called “a very challenging aviation effort,” he has now been airlifted to the country’s best military hospital in capital Islamabad.

Meanwhile, the body of his climbing mate Sergey Glazunov lies buried under piles of fresh snow. His family have announced that they will not search for him until the weather improves, and it may take years for his remains to be brought home, if ever.

Unconquered ascent

The euphoria of the rescue gives an uplifting final note to a tale of human endeavor turning to bull-headed tenacity then to recklessness and finally tragedy.

Towering at 7,145 meters, Latok-1 is not one of the world’s highest mountains, but it is one of the hardest to ascend. While its summit was conquered in 1979, its north side, marked by a steep ridge, violent weather changes, and rock slides, has never been climbed. Dozens of failed attempts have made it into the Moby Dick of the mountaineering world. It was thus a fitting target for St. Petersburg’s Gukov, who won the prestigious Piolet d’Or for the world’s most remarkable ascent, in 2015.

Gukov’s first attempt in 2017 fell 300 meters short of the top. It also nearly ended in disaster, after one of his partners contracted pneumonia, and forced the team to turn around, with amputated fingers and toes as the price. But rather than dismayed, Gukov was only further fired up, telling interviews that he now knew that the ascent was “difficult and tiring, but possible.”

The 2018 expedition immediately got off to a bad start, after one of the three participants pulled out at the last moment due to family circumstances, meaning the other two would have to carry more equipment and enjoy less help if things went wrong. But Gukov was not one to climb down, perhaps encouraged by the ability of the 26-year-old Siberian Glazunov, described as an excellent athlete and a fast climber.

‘I’ve found half a Snickers bar’

The two set off “with good fighting morale” on July 12, and initially made good progress. On July 15, the two took a calculated risk to drop heavier equipment, and leave themselves five days’ worth of rations.

But the mountaineers were soon slowed by an impenetrable fog, and thick snowfall. Koval’s group, which attempted a simultaneous climb along a different route, decided to turn back down.

On July 22, despite already stretching their supplies, the two dropped their bivouacking equipment, for the final push. The next day they managed only 100 meters of vertical progress.

On July 25, Koval boarded a helicopter and found the two finally descending down in admission of defeat, using body rappelling, when the rope is tied around the shoulder and waist of the climbers as they descend – a technique that is known to be dangerous.

Then a 12:24 a.m. Moscow time, a message arrives.

“I NEED HELP.”

“I NEED EVACUATION.”

“Sergey fell. I am hanging on the wall without equipment.”

Until Gukov fully recovers, we will not know the exact sequence that led to Glazunov’s deadly drop. Anna Piunova, the Moscow journalist and climber to whom the message was sent, wasn’t thinking about the dead man (to whose wife she had to deliver the news) at the time, but the survivor.

Helicopters are on standby. The world’s best climbers are flying to base camp, in case they need to ascend to a place near Latok-1, to carry Gukov to a safe evacuation spot. He is “in a snow cocoon” on a tiny horizontal perch, avoiding the elements, conserving energy, waiting.

But no one can help him. There are clouds all around the mountains, and no all-clear for takeoff. Meanwhile, Alexander complains about “the f**king flying rocks.”

There is a bright moment.

“I have found half a Snickers bars,” he texts Anna (he also sends her a message saying “I will die here on this rock” but she chooses not to publish it in her live blog of the rescue).

He has less than one bar of charge on his emergency tracker. Then nothing. The only way he can hear rescuers now is the sound of helicopters still unable to approach.

The frayed rescue rope

Finally, on July 31, the weather clears. Two helicopters, lightly fueled and with all ballast dropped off to allow ascent to 6,300 meters, locate him soon enough.

Yet there is still only enough fuel for a sling to be thrown once. If Alexander doesn’t catch it, the helicopters, one for observation, the other for rescue, will have to go back another time – if weather permits.

The longline has landed close enough. For fifteen minutes Alexander’s frozen fingers fumble as he attempts to attach it to his harness. Green light to pull him off, and as the helicopter, tank nearly empty, does, it revs and tilts, as the pilot desperately attempts to steady it, having barely kept it hovering under control in the minutes above.

Alexander hasn’t detached his anchor from the mountain. Piunova will later write that she wrote constant messages urging Gukov to “DETACH!” however addled his mind. Koval will counter that Gukov told him that he remembered and tried, but simply couldn’t manage it fast enough.

As the helicopter tugs away, Alexander is stuck to the mountain, flailing as he is being pulled from two directions. Koval says that the tension in the longline that will bring him to safety is so high, the casing has come off the rope. But in another fortuitous turn, the anchor gives out first, and minor lacerations aside, Gukov is delivered to safety.

Even though Alexander still can’t move at all by himself, everything else from now on is easier. Apart from one thing, coming to terms with Sergey’s death. And this invites the deeper personal question in the mind of a man who has dedicated his life to death-defying pioneering ascents – is it all worth it?

“[When up there] I was thinking about will I come back to the mountain or not. But this is another story,” says Gukov, notably refusing to lock in in his options. “Now I want to be at home with my wife, children and mother-in-law. I have a good mother-in-law.”

Warning over link between depression and video game addiction after MRI scan shows proof

Warning over link between depression and video game addiction as MRI scan shows proof CREDIT:SIGRID GOMBERT/CULTURA RM EXCLUSIVE

By Charles Hymas

July 31, 2018

Psychiatrists have issued a warning over the link between depression and video game addiction, after MRI scans revealed for the first time the potential damage caused to young brains.

The images showed the signals between the different parts of gaming addicts’ brains were disrupted, driving them to continue playing but also worsening their depression.

The “emotional” part of the brain, responsible for the feelings of depression, was shown to be overriding the “executive” part of the brain that could rein in their addiction.

Dr Louise Theodosiou, a leading adolescent psychiatrist with the Royal College of Psychiatrists, said it was an important study in linking gaming addiction with a rise in depression among the young which has been shown in studies to affect as many as one in four teenagers.

“If you have something distorting the relationship between the emotional and analytical parts of the brain, it’s potentially damaging and also very compulsive,” she said.

“We need to find creative ways to deal with children who are retreating online, particularly when they are doing it to the exclusion of all else.

“We are aware of children having Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) from playing games non-stop. There was a case of a young man dying in Asia after 48 hours gaming. If you are living in an online world, there is a risk of a disconnect from your physical self which is particularly dangerous.”

The Telegraph is campaigning for a statutory duty of care on the gaming and social media giants to protect children from online harms.

Scientists in China and the US have led the way in using MRI scans to demonstrate the similarities in brain patterns between gaming addicts and people with addictions to drugs, alcohol and gambling.

In the new study, the researchers from Beijing Normal University took a group of more than 2,000 students 16 to 21, who had gamed more than two hours a day over the past four years, before refining it to 63 gaming addicts who had MRI brain scans.

Using psychological questionnaires, they found those who were addicted to gaming were twice as likely to be depressed as those who did not game.

The study found the more severe their internet addiction when they were younger, the more likely they were to suffer depression later. Conversely, greater depression at a younger age was also associated with gaming addiction later.

From the scans, they could see that the signals from the left amygdala in the gaming addicts’ brains, which is responsible for emotions like depression, were disrupting their prefontal cortex, which controls reason, making them more likely to stay online and also worsening their depression.

“Individuals cope with their emotional distress by playing internet games [but] prolonged internet gaming induces depression due to lack of, or withdrawal from real-life relationships,” said the researchers.

The discovery offers psychiatrists an insight into how they could develop and test therapies to treat people suffering addiction to gaming, which was last month classified by the World Health Organisation (WHO) as an official medical disorder treatable on the NHS.

Dr Theodosiou said that as well as affecting their health and weight and therefore self-worth, gaming could also create a vicious cycle in which children fell out with their parents and friends, driving them further online.

“It impacts on parental relationships. They want you to go out to dinner but you have a game scheduled in a different time zone at 7pm. There are rows and then the child retreats online further because of the state of real-life relationships,” she said.

She backed action to protect children from online harms given their “potentially vulnerable” mental states, citing Ofcom research showing 40% of 12-15 year olds had seen something hateful online, and 12% said they had been bullied.

Could There Be Something Wrong with the Germ Theory?

By Paul Fassa
Health Impact News

Our modern medicine’s paradigm is based mostly on the germ theory of microbes invading our bodies and causing disease, thus creating the need for a war against microbes to eliminate them all and conquer all diseases. Fear is the motivation for creating the weapons of antibiotics, antivirals, and vaccines befitting this concept, but our modern populations are sicker than ever.

Are the weapons creating chronic debilitating diseases in exchange for acute illnesses considered infectious that most manage to get over with a renewed resilience to the dreaded pathogenic microbes blamed for all illness? Are we actually destroying our immune systems with our war on microbes?

Ever since Pasteur’s claim to fame as the father of the germ theory, our overall health has decreased even while lifespans have increased. But during Pasteur’s late 19th century early 20th century media dominance and since then till now, there have been many scientists denouncing Pasteur’s model of disease, even providing evidence that he was a plagiarist and fraud.

Let’s focus on some of the few scientists and medical practitioners who have not agreed with the germ theory’s dogma that places microbes as agents of death that should be feared while ignoring other aspects of health.

The Analogy of Mosquito Larvae and Stagnate Water

As early as the late 19th century, right around the time Louis Pasteur made his questionable germ theory claims of germs “out there” causing disease in us, German biologist Dr. Rudolph Virchow, known as the “Father of Pathology” made this statement, which was included in Dr. Robert O. Young’s book, Sick and Tired?: Reclaim Your Inner Terrain.

If I could live my life over again, I would devote it to proving that germs seek their natural habitat—diseased tissue—rather than being the cause of the diseased tissue; e.g., mosquitoes seek the stagnant water, but do not cause the pool to become stagnant.

This “inner terrain” model was echoed by two of Pasteur’s most critical contemporaries, French scientists Antoine Bechamp and Claude Bernard. Bechamp was an advocate of the pleomorphic tendency of microbes to change from one type to another according to the blood or tissue where it resided. Bernard supported that view also, exclaiming the germ was nothing, the inner terrain is all.

In other words, any benign or more likely helpful microbes, which actually all exist in our bodies and outnumber our cells, when engulfed with some sort of imbalance, low pH, chronic inflammation, or toxic environmental influences, change into less desirable guests within our inner terrain, of which our immune system is a part, not the whole.

Pasteur violated Robert Koch’s late 19th century rules for determining pathogens, known as Koch’s postulates. Though not completely accepted in microbiology today, these conditions for determining pathogenic microbes was certainly applicable during Pasteur’s time. The germ must be:

  • found in all cases of the disease examined

  • prepared and maintained in a pure culture

  • capable of producing the original infection, even after several generations in culture

  • retrievable from an inoculated animal and cultured again

Pasteur violated most of those rules, often simply injecting animals with the blood of other animals and not isolating and culturing the microbes.

But because of political favoritism from the French hierarchy at the time and his own ambitions, Pasteur’s germ theory took over all other theories of disease. His one germ for one disease turned out to be highly profitable for the soon to rise pharmaceutical industry and this model controls contemporary Western medicine to this day.

The Universal Microscope Proved Pleomorphism Correct

Despite widespread acceptance of Pasteur’s germ theory, one germ for each disease, there were enough scientists who accepted the pleomorphism theory of microbial organisms, changing perhaps from helpful, benign, to pathogenic according to their immediate organic environments, or inner terrain.

Later in the 20th century, circa 1930, a brilliant scientist named Royal (Roy) Raymond Rife created what he called the Universal Microscope, a large complex instrument that was capable of magnifying even viruses in real time. He was able to report microbial changes of form and size, often up to 16 phases of transition within the same microbe. Those of the pleomorphic persuasion were thrilled to witness the proof of their beliefs with Rife’s microscopic wizardry.

Until Rife’s Universal Microscope, electron microscopes would not allow microbial organisms to thrive. The electron fields killed them. The practice of staining blood and tissue samples also destroys them before they even are placed under the microscope.

After determining the radio wave kill frequencies of several viruses in their pathogenic phases and curing cancer with 16 test subjects, Roy Rife and his radio frequency machines were destroyed after refusing to allow AMA henchman Morris Fishbein to buy him out. The incredible microscopes he had developed for his research into the pleomorphic tendencies were also destroyed.

Fast Forward To Today’s Virus Wars: Does the Measles Virus Actually Exist?

A recent episode in Germany created a suppressed stir in the field of microbiology when microbiologist Dr. Stefan Lanka claimed he would award anyone 100,000 Euros who could prove the existence of the measles virus.

At first it appeared he had lost. But Dr. Lanka took his loss to a higher court with more experts and the backing of two independent laboratories. He wound up not having to pay. It turned out that the “proof” provided was a composite of several different electron microscope images. And the composite involved different components of damaged cells. The composite could not be duplicated. The German Federal Supreme Court confirmed that there was not enough evidence to prove the existence of the measles virus.

So how are they making MMR vaccines with attenuated measles viruses? That’s Lanka’s contention. He and several other virologists have also challenged the HIV virus as a valid viral entity and even if so, as the cause of AIDS. Some question how one virus can cause a myriad of diseases.

They all question the fact that the virus is not isolated in diagnosis. Instead, unreliable antibody tests are performed to put someone into life or death crisis over a virus that many claim really doesn’t exist.

These are prominent virologists like professor Peter Duesberg, whose contention that HIV does not cause AIDS (Acute Immune Deficiency Syndrome), has caused him to be cut from research funding and marginalized by many of his peers in the scientific community.

Saying AIDS is not from a virus but by simply running out one’s inner terrain to the max and destroying oneself with lifestyle choices and the high use of legal “poppers” (amyl nitrite) was just unacceptable. But claiming a virus is the cause of AIDS and scaring everyone was okay.

Heavy antibiotic use also contributes to damaging one’s inner terrain, especially beneficial gut bacteria that are needed for good digestion and immune responses.

Another suspect virus is hepatitis C. No virus has been really isolated and proven according to Koch’s postulates. Just another antibody test that proves antibodies exist, but for what if there is really no virus?

Objectively examine the results of all recent “epidemic” viral threats, including the bird flu, swine flu, Ebola, and Zika viruses. They certainly created the panic for more vaccines getting rushed into existence as well as more getting vaccinated.

And as the U.S. vaccine court proves, many who get vaccinated wind up with minor, major, and chronic autoimmune diseases, sometimes paralysis, autism, and death. The one germ one disease theory certainly seems to be a great business model for the medical/pharmaceutical industry complex.

This is where the germ theory has taken us. Wendy Myers explains that:

“illness was practically always due to errors of diet or manner of living, the germs being present solely as scavengers of dead and waste tissues and foods, and not as the cause of the disease.”

Science Falsely So-Called!”
February 1992
Dr. Koger believed the greatest cause of disease was violating God's rules of life.--First of all, to love the Lord with all your heart, mind and soul etc., to serve the Lord, and then to follow the Bible rules of diet, eating things that are good for you and not unclean meats, etc. He believed the Mosaic Law was still in effect as far as those dietary and health rules are concerned.
Dr. Koger believed in the theory regarding germs of a naturopathic doctor he knew. This doctor said he didn't believe that germs cause diseases, but that diseases cause germs. That God put the germs there and made them to greatly multiply when you have a disease, in order to try to eat up the disease.
It seems like the doctors and scientists are sure that some germs cause diseases, but how are you going to know for sure? You don't know, you haven't seen it, you haven't proved it.
Though Dr. Koger was a doctor of medicine, he'd virtually given up medicine because he thought it did more harm than good. He believed that obeying the simple rules of life was better, and that you could stay in good health by having a good diet, good rest, good exercise and right living. Right living, of course, includes loving and serving the Lord and trying to be as unsinful as possible.--In other words, to live according to God's rules.
Dr. Koger believed that nearly all diseases were caused not by germs, but by poisons, contaminants, pollutants with which you've polluted your body by eating the wrong things and doing the wrong things. He believed that God put the germs there to try to eat up those poisons, just like He put all those unclean creatures in the sea to try to eat up the pollutants and the sewage and all kinds of poisons that Man puts into the sea. Everything from crabs to shrimp and crawfish, lobsters, oysters, mussels, clams etc., all these so-called "seafoods" are poisonous! They eat poison in order to try to clean up the sea from the poisons that are dumped into it all the time. And yet people call them seafoods. They're not seafoods, they're sea poisons! It's not the fault of these creatures, they're put there to eat up the poisons. Well, why couldn't this also be true of our bloodstreams and our bodies? I think that's a very good illustration of the idea.
The seafoods don't cause the poisons--the Lord put the seafood there to eat up the poisons. So why couldn't that also be true of germs in our human bodies? We cause the poisons by polluting our bodies with contaminants of all kinds of things, including sin, and God put the germs there in His mercy to try to eat'm up! And if we will take care of our bodies and not get too run-down or too tired or eat too little or not get enough exercise etc., then they have a chance to fight these poisons and eat'm up. But if you get chilled or you don't eat properly or you don't get enough exercise or fresh air and sunshine and rest and the proper kind of food, you get polluted and contaminated, so much so that no amount of germs could ever eat'm up, so you get sick.
That was Dr. Koger's theory, anyhow, and I'm inclined to believe it.
All that to say that I don't have too much fear of germs. I think God can take care of all the germs, and me especially. Nevertheless, just in case some of their hypotheses regarding catching diseases might happen to have some element of truth in them, I try to avoid germs. If you don't keep things like your body or a wound clean, they'll certainly get infected. But what are they infected with, germs or poisons?--Germs that cause poisons, or poisons that cause germs?
I'm not saying I don't believe in germs, I know germs exist, they can see'm under their microscopes, but I'm not sure that they are the cause of all the diseases. A lot of diseases are because of pollutants, they're the results of bad living, poor diet, lack of rest, lack of exercise, and lack of Godly living most of all.
Anyhow, so goes my faith regarding doctors and physicians. It's like the woman in the Bible who "suffered many things of many physicians, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse!"--Mark 5:26. Many people have suffered many things from many physicians, so who are you to trust? And the medicines don't seem to do much good, so which one of them are you going to trust?
He's allowed me to be afflicted with afflictions that are usually a result of my own sins and abuse of my body, so you can't blame that on Him. And I don't blame it on some germ, I blame it on either the Devil or my own sins.--Unless the Lord's laid the affliction on me to teach me some lesson.
(Like that whole book written by Dr. Mendelsohn called "Confessions of a Medical Heretic," in which he listed one thing after the other where they don't know what they're doing
From "Mothering" Magazineb y Linda Flach:
The germ theory must be re-examined. Do germs cause disease or are they the result of a disease? Pasteur stated later in his career that germs and bacteria are not the exact and primary cause of disease. Rudolf Virchow, father of the germ theory, stated in his later years, "If I could live my life over again, I would devote it to proving that germs seek their natural habitat--diseased tissues--rather than being the cause of disease."
We are constantly breathing in some 14,000 germs and bacteria per hour. If germs were so harmful, why don't all of us have some type of disease? Lack of understanding creates fear, but when we understand that both health and disease are created by our own living and eating habits, then there is no longer any fear of "germs."
